    Went for the USA WC game. Service was great. Good vibes. The inside was hot with the doors open. Need some fans moving air, but love the indoor / outdoor combo. Volume on the TVs should have been louder.

    We decided to go there for dinner before a Squirrels game. The hostess informed us that there is only one server this evening and it would be a wait. Ok, we had some time. The manager came by, was apologetic, and took our drink order. The server showed up shortly after and was courteous. When our food arrived (we were sharing a pizza), no plates or napkins were provided. We asked for some, and neither showed up. The manager came by again and asked how everything was. By that time we had finished and asked for the check. Not terrible, definitely needs some work.

    The place was packed for the NCAA basketball tournament games I would imagine specifically the VCU game. We reserved a Rice bay and we were excited to check out the spot for the first time. Place is really cool especially the indoor/outdoor setup. When we arrived it took about 20 minutes for a server to come by and take greet us. We ordered drinks which took another 20 minutes to get and the bucket of cans we got were warm and barely had ice in the bucket. Server didn’t come back until we finally saw her after another 20 minutes and ordered food and another bucket of beers because we knew it would take forever. Half of our food order showed up about 40 minutes later and never got the 2nd bucket of beers. On top of that the TV in our reserved area went out 10 minutes in and they couldn’t resolve it for 45 minutes. At that point we knew it wasn’t going to get better so we searched the bar to find our server to tab out and leave. She took off all the items we didn’t receive as she should have. I felt really bad for her because I feel like she was setup to fail. The place seems really cool, but it’s mind boggling to me that management/ownership wouldn’t prepare better knowing that it was going to packed more than usual for the NCAA tournament/VCU game.
