We have been a couple of times recently. A wonderful rediscovery. Food excellent. Our server Jenna was very pleasant and attentive.
I changed my reservation twice and the restaurant was very accommodating. Our server Angel was A+
Great food and service as always! The Tiramisu made by pastry chef Tiffani was outstanding!
Food was delicious, great service and loved the outdoor seating!
Pasta Amore is great from menu selection to service and prices. Only thing I'd improve on is the beer selection. My spouse does not drink wine so having a bit more to choose from beer-wise would be good.
Although new ownership....looks like they are keeping the high quality standards that Chef Leo established 30 + years ago
Eggplant Parmesan was delicious!
It came with a side of tasty angel hair pasta, perfect sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Loved the appetizer combo with artichokes, tomato/mozzarella cheese, peppers, and fried calamari. Had plenty left over for a meal the next day.
I love this place. Such wonderful food and service! I always feel so well taken care of when I dine at Pasta Amore! A must go to place in Omaha!
Quaint atmosphere, lovely restaurant. Outdoor dining option is very nice.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants in Omaha for 15 years. Consistently outstanding food and service! Authentic delicious Italian food and the desserts made by pastry chef Tiffani are amazing. We have eaten at many great restaurants in Omaha for 15 years and Pasta Amore is at the top of our list of our favorite restaurants in Omaha. Manager Robin takes guest service to a whole new level. Everyone is so welcoming and they all seem sincerely glad you are there. I highly recommend Pasta Amore. A huge thank you to entire Pasta Amore staff who makes our dining experience a memorable one time and time again.
An overall average experience. The service was slow, and it wasn't a short staffing situation. Our server was friendly. The Bruschetta was tasty, but the bread was a bit soggy. We had the lasagna and chicken fantasia. Portions were big, but both dishes were just okay in our opinion.
I was disappointed because the table who came in next to us reeked of smoke. I asked to move tables and the hostess said she’ll see what she can do and never came
Back. At least come back to tell us! This made the environment not great unfortunately. The food was good though!
Stephanie did a wonderful job. Robyn turned us onto a great wine
Absolutely wonderful, as always!
Food was good, but certainly not great. Our wai
Everything was great in terms of food and service. The restaurant has a tendency to be a quite warm. It would be great to have a cooler room temperature.
We went to Pasta Amore for an anniversary dinner. The staff was amazing. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately since we had a reservation. The server asked us our names and remembered them throughout dinner. She gave us good food recommendations. We never felt rushed and had time to enjoy our meal. We had the appetizer combo platter, cioppino (Special for the day), and the tortellini. All were delicious. We also splurged and ordered dessert. The dessert is homemade including the toffee. I would highly recommend Pasta Amore.
We had a lovely evening sharing good food with friends.
Friends/acquaintances have suggested Pasta Amore for some time. So finally took the wife out to it on her birthday this year. The food was everything I’d been told, if not better, and I’m NOT a big Italian food guy (I mean, it’s mainly just pasta). What made this experience is that they make their own pasta & spreads and use the right amount of oil, spices, etc., perhaps like other local Italian stops, but it’s HOW they do it all. Superb! What made this experience is that they make their own pasta & spreads and use the right amount of oil, spices, etc., perhaps like other local Italian stops, but it’s HOW they do it all. Superb! We also met one of the new owners, Matt, who also owns The Railcar & Timber with the same partner, though he stressed to us how he wants to keep Pasta Amore as he picked it up (if it ain’t broke mentality). We learned some about the restaurant’s original owners and history from our server and even the new hostess, but Matt really filled in all the spaces, with dates and interesting tidbits. Our server Frankie was superb and the atmosphere was white tablecloth and not loud. Though the dining room isn’t that big, outdoor tables are in use this time of the year, which spreads the crowd out a lot, leaving it a little more intimate. The music is your classic vintage crooners, big bands, musicals etc. They have a small lounge attached but separate from the dining room. Easily Omaha’s best Italiano. Loved it!
I hadn't been to Pasta Amore in quite some time, but it was all that I remembered. It was a very busy night, but the wait staff was very efficient and friendly. Our server had a server-in-training and both were just delightful! Our food, veal parm and saltimbocca were delicious. Desserts were very good, as well.
Love Pasta Amore !!! Been going there for years but then moved away. Went back this past weekend and brought my husband for the first time. He was in gnocchi & vodka sauce heaven. Pasta amore has always been consistently amazing. When we arrived the staff was tasting some new wines they just got in & they asked us if we wanted to try them. It turned into a mini wine tasting. The staff was very attentive and fun. Great experience but then again. In all these years it’s never been a bad experience.
This has now our favorite restaurant! We had dinner Saturday night
and so enjoyed everything! My husband had chicken with artichokes
and loved every bite. I had pasta combination - the chef even made me
happy by subbing egg plant Parmesan - it was sensational. We couldn’t
have had a nicer dinner. Going back very soon.
This restaurant continues to get better with time. The food is outstanding. They even adjusted one of their menu items to be gluten and dairy free. So thankful for this restaurant in Omaha.
The service was wonderful! Lisa was very personable and fun to converse with. Our food was excellent and hot when it arrived. The only comment was the smokey taste of the bread. Not sure if it came off of the board the bread was served on but we did not care for that added flavor in the bread. Will definitely be back!
Christine our server was outstanding!! Table placement was crowded on top of another group. Moderately loud conversation from that reunion group of 8-10. Food was wonderful. Had the Tortellini with white cream sauce. A little flat and bland taste to the sauce was really enhanced by the blue cheese crumbles they brought me to try. That made the dish phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Eggplant parmigiana was excellent. Bread and ricotta was a perfect starter.
Good service. Quiet place. Meal was good but not better than other places in the area.
Very good as usual. Toasted ravioli appetizer with veal Parmesan entree.
Everything about this restaurant was top notch. Recommend meat and cheese board! very fresh! Service excellent considering the crowd!
As always, great service, great food. Was curious with new owners, but still EXCELLENT.
The ambiance was like having Italian at Grandma's house. It was cozy and amazing food. Service was wonderful and quick as well.
The restaurant was so accommodating to my gluten free needs. Great bartender and th food was delicious!!!
Very pleasant experience overall!
As usual, the food and service were EXCEPTIONAL! We really enjoyed our meal. When I ordered the fried tortellini, the server suggested a special version of it that was not on the menu. Wow!! It was incredible! Highly Suggest Pasta Amore for any occasion!
Delicious food at a reasonable price and very friendly staff! Pleasant, somewhat romantic atmosphere that's perfect for a date night!
Amazing food and our server, Frankie, was wonderful! Will go back often.
Good food, decent service. Had to ask for a few things but Steven was very prompt about our requests. Warm bread would have been a nice touch.
The food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding! I’m not normally a bread person, but their complementary bread with our meal was amazing. Looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you Pasta Amoré!
Have been a fan for many years since helping Leo out at the festivals. Wanted to try the new ownership out so we booked a reservation during non peak time for our anniversary. Took our salads/apps/drinks a long time to get there, about 35-40 minutes while walk ins that came in 25 minutes later were served theirs prior to us. No water was brought to the table nor were any specials read to us. Food quality still good, but would say B now compared to an A, but same prices. Hopefully this is them just getting settled in.
Always love the food!! They were really busy on Friday night and it took longer than usual to get our food, but the food was worth the wait.
