The pandemic restrictions have hit everywhere, and yet this restaurant still delivered.
The ambiance is off only due to the extreme distance/placing of the tables. Our waiter was top notch, charismatic and professional. The offerings are limited, and at first we were feeling "pinched" to make a selection. However, the salmon and bouillabaisse were outstanding, as well as the oyster appetizers. That said, we both wished there was one more option for a dinner. ** Three of the offerings are more suited for a casual dinner or lunch (lobster roll, fancy burger or fried chicken sandwich). All fine, I am certain, but it leaves few selections for a proper dinner options.
Will revisit and know that the menu is what it is!

Great evening. Sat by fire for a drink and some great oysters. Moved to table for salmon and a lobster roll. Staff are great and food was very good.

Food was great and staff was excellent. They had heat lamps making it very comfortable to eat outside even in 32 degree temps.

The Pearl is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely. The warm fireplace, beautiful lighting, with a spacious open feel. The staff are simply the best. The food is always delicious. We just love this restaurant.

We had several appetizers and small plates with wine for dinner. Wow! Everything was so delicious- little neck clams, fried salt/pepper shrimp, lobster roll sliders, smoked salmon, bratwurst, fried oysters....yes, it was just the two of us! We ate every bit and we woke up wanting lobster roll sliders for breakfast. The service was top notch too; we can’t wait to return!

The food and service were outstanding! Beautiful ambiance with a stone wood-burning fireplace keeps the space cozy. We ate indoors and all covid precautions are in place for safety. There is also a lovely outdoor dining area for warmer months. We had local oysters and salads for apps. My husband really enjoyed the bouillabaisse and I loved my salmon with mixed vegetables as our entrees. Everything was perfectly prepared in the open kitchen. We finished our wine relaxing by the fire after dinner. Highly recommended!

I have had lobster rolls everywhere I go. The lobster roll at Pearl is hands down the best I have EVER had. First experience was in NYC and then at the Kennebunk location. It is a must try. It's an eating experience you never want to end!

We had dinner outside and it was perfect. We had our own heater, there was a fire pit and it was cozy. The bouillabaisse was excellent. All the seafood was perfectly cooked. The fried chicken sandwich and fries were delicious. The shoestring fries are a must have! Our waiter was great.
Plenty of seating inside with a huge wood burning fireplace. Really glad they are still open.

Everything was just perfect. Delicious cocktails and the fried oysters are a favorite.

Bouillabaisse had no flavor, spices were flat.

Fried oysters are consistently good.

This is our last visit as we have had mixed success with the food. Our second visit, I was served a pitch black burnt hamburger with a black burnt bun. There was no excuse for serving such a disaster of a meal. This is the worst meal that I have seen served. It was rock hard. The cook must have intentionally burnt it.

We tried twice more. We live here.

The lobster stew was to die for - best ever! Also enjoyed the bratwurst appetizer. It was a chilly night so our hostess was kind enough to turn up the outdoor heaters. Service staff were attentive and fun. Would definitely return.

Awesome food, service and ambiance. The staff did an amazing job of upholding that charming coastal feel at all stops of our evening. Will absolutely be back. Ps. They have fresh blue cheese stuffed olives! Huge bonus. Thanks again Pearl!

We thoroughly enjoyed light dinner. Chowder was delicious and nice and hot! Salads were great and shrimp and oysters perfect. We chose not to get entrees. Delicious red velvet cake. One thing that was so noticeable was how efficiently the staff worked together! Excellent service! Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Out party of six devoured our meals. Salmon was superb. Very friendly waitress and the bar tender was great. We will be back. Thank you!

Outstanding restaurant. They accommodated our seating preference, felt very safe. The food, especially the fried oysters were out of this world. Very friendly, helpful service! Can't wait to go back.

This was a hidden gem that we discovered during our recent visit to Kennebunkport. From the stylish rustic modern atmosphere to the pleasant and helpful service to the truly outstanding food...this was a great choice. We enjoyed the beet salad (excellent light dressing), clam chowder (the hint of sherry and plentiful large clam pieces), and a filly stuffed lobster roll that was truly outstanding. Worth a visit in every way.

Fantastic food and service

Beautiful place. Plenty of room with social distancing and all of the wonderful staff wore masks. Happy hour til 6 with good drinks. Appetizers are ‘by the piece’ so it’s easy to try a little of everything! The fried oysters with tartar sauce were so good! The mussels are in a crazy delicious cream sauce that you sop up with the fresh bread from Boulangerie bakery. The clam chowder was flavorful.
The rib eye was cooked well and the salmon was fresh and delicious. The shoestring fries are amazing...we had to get a second order!
Looking forward to going back when the fireplace is burning. Everything and everyone was outstanding!

Our meal & experience at Pearl were simply stellar. The one & only small negative doesn't even fall on them, but the pandemic measures, which made the room feel a bit empty, due to reduced capacity.

The staff were wonderful, completely respectful & accommodating of my food allergy. They work in concert with each other, so even when your server is a little busy, someone is right there, stepping up with whatever you need. All are friendly & personable.

As for the food, we had chowder, jumbo shrimp cocktail & THE best lobster rolls ever, followed by chocolate mousse to die for & the orange-liqueur Cointrea. Superb!

Food was good, however, we did find the menu to be rather limited. Be sure to look ahead of time! Seafood all very fresh and well prepared!

On our trip to Maine this was one of the best meals we had. The service and ambiance are incredible. Loved it!

Because of covid-19 distancing we were sitting outside in their patio space. The staff was very attentive and constantly checking that everyone was comfortable, and that everyone's order was served promptly. It was going to be a chilly night, and they did their best to make sure that everyone was warm. The food was absolutely wonderful, and the staff was fairy helpful in helping to select various dishes.
