   The food was fantastic, but we waited 1.5 hours after our first pizza came out before the second pizza came. I’m sure they forgot it but the waitress kept saying they they got backed up, even though other tables that got there an hour after us were getting their food. We were also only checked on a couple times and kept having to ask for more water. The waitress was fine, and we ended up asking for a comp dessert which the manager gave us. It was disappointing since we made a reservation for my friend’s birthday and spent over 2 hours at the restaurant. but the food was great once we finally got it

   Excellent food. Only issue was the service was very slow. It took us a long time to get our food and even longer to get dessert. Our server was great. Not sure what caused the long wait time.

   It took 40 minutes to cook one cheese pizza and two salads, and it seemed like unless we asked, it would have taken even longer. The salad had dry and thin chicken breast. Overall, it was a poor experience.

    Our waiter too a long time getting us a refill and our food took 25 minutes to come. Not great for a dinner with my 7 year old. When it came the food wasn’t anything special. The pizza wasn’t memorable. Sauce and crust was generic. Chocolate cheese cake was super dry and when a 7 year old girl isn’t interested in finishing desert it’s saying something. Glad we gave it a try. But not going to be a regular for sure.

    Great food and drinks. Dreadful service — which is unusual for Peel. Server was not attentive and spent much time chatting with colleagues. Had to leave table and tell her that one of our meals had not been delivered. It apparently had been sent to the wrong table and she was neither aware of that nor interested in whether our meals had been delivered.

    We loved Peel. It’s our second time here in a few weeks. The employees are exceptional - hostess and servers are very friendly, welcoming and helpful about what to order and drink. The food and Peel’s beer are great! The ambience and open spaces are terrific.

    I ordered based upon the advice of my server and my order was wrong. The server removed my meal and said it would be fixed only to return the plate a few minutes later in the same condition. She said the cook disagreed with my objection to how my food was prepared and that a bowl of toppings would be forthcoming rather than added to the pizza itself. This seemed very strange as I just wanted my pizza to be hot with the ingredients incorporated into it. To add insult to injury, the bill was ridiculously inflated because the server just upcharged our modifications rather than making substitutions for my dinner mate’s entree and creating my build-your-own pizza as specified. When I asked about the bill the server got very short with me and then eventually brought a manager to the table. We didn’t get to eat together and it was not a fun experience.

    The service was fine. The food was fine. The atmosphere was fine. We have had better service in the past. We have also had better food in the past. Our favorite meals just seemed to be lacking. Normally we can’t wait for the maple bourbon bacon wings. Last night they were just ok. Something was off. They were super sticky and sweet.

    Wait staff was a little slow with refilling water and bringing 2nd round of drinks. Overall food was very good. Restaurant is very load. We were sat near a very large party that was really noisy. We could hardly have a conversation without shouting. Disappointing when your trying to enjoy a family dinner.

    We had the apple Gorgonzola spinach salad which was phenomenal along with the sausage and peppers pizza which was delicious as well. We didn’t have room for our dessert so we took it home which was the crème brûlée with fresh fruit oh that was good toooo. We will definitely go back for another fantastic meal in the near future.

    It probably has been about six months since we have been here and it seems the management has changed. We used to really like going here, but this experience has ensured that we won’t be going back. We ordered two pizzas and they came out about 20 minutes apart from each other. By the time my free pizza came out, it was so hard I could barely break the crust with my hands. The manager came over and told us that it’s always like that. this used to be a great restaurant, but the quality of the food has severely diminished, and the management doesn’t seem to care anymore.

    Went to Peel for a team lunch. Moderately busy, service was excellent and everyone was pleased with their food and the experience. It is certainly on the more expensive side for lunch. But it seems the perfect place to bring vendors or business customers. Good spot to have a good meal and good conservation.
