Very special and amazing pizza, Minchia che buono!

Meals were a little overpriced for what they were, & smaller portion sizes.

The meals were very ordinary and I will not be going back to the restaurant

Outstanding customer service and delicious food! This is the 3rd time and I’m always impressed.

This place used to be good, but last week was awful. The bread looked like white tip top. I paid $177 for three people one shared entree two tiny salads and three mains, sparkling water.. no alcohol or cocktails etc
The saving grace was the lovely waitress. I’m a local, and there are far better options in Burleigh. So sad

The waitress was so helpful and accomodating. The food was delicious and the drinks were so nice. Eel had one of the best dining experiences ever. We definitely will be back

Pitza garlic bread very little garlic flavour pitza dough stodgy
The special barramundi dish very greasy
Lamb scallops not very special lamb with juice and a red onion
Lamb cooked well the rest very amateurish with a couple of asparagus thrown in
A great bunch of people just need a good chef who can make pitza

Shame...used to be a special place to go. Food has really dropped off and it felt like getting as many tourists through as fast as possible was main agenda

The restaurant is cute with nice decor. We were a party of 4 dining. Waitress told us the buffet menu options were min 2. We spent 15 mins discussing and picking only to get to order and were told by a cranky waiter that entire table needed to have buffet. So we just ordered a main each and shared 2 entrees. I think they did themselves out of approx $100 in sales for refusing to do 3 for banquet. The food was good, maybe just attitude of staff and inflexibility put us off so we won’t be going back.

Very characteristic place, I love the renovations done, it looks brighter. Food is amazing and cooked by Italians so they know what they are doing, some portions were bit too small to share with someone but perfect for one person 😊 The staff is really friendly and professional and it’s just a pleasure to go there 😊
The only problem we had is that we were seating close to the door (we went at lunch) and my husband was facing the door and the glare from the street was a bit annoying. Next time I might ask for a different table, but it’s really worth to go and try their food!

Our favourite Italian restaurant on the Gold Coast. New Year's Eve dinner - the food was immaculately presented and the taste phenomenal! The service, as usual, was excellent and we appreciate the 'chats' with the staff.

Came here for New Years Eve, the food is absolutely amazing, the most traditional Italian food I have had and can’t wait to come back again and service was perfect. Thank you for a great time!

I enjoyed the food it was good the waitress were very quick and nice also considering it was a busy as night. I couldn’t believe how hot the waitress were as well just the girl ones obviously 🤣. Overall it was a 8/10.

Fabulous and authentic Italian. Staff are a delight. Always a great feed here, and is one of my favourite Italian restaurants. Look out for the specials, some weeks they are to die for!

Menu in window was different to menu on offer. Really wanted veal scallopine which we had last visit and was excellent. but only had lamb scallopine. Took a long time for someone to take order. No Italian ambience- jazz music played, last visit had Italian music and Sophia Loren on the wall. Expected it to be expensive which it was but overall was disappointed with the changes that have been made. I would warn others who are thinking of eating there that changes have been made and not did the better

Really interesting menu based on home cooking and fresh ingredients. Friendly, reasonably attentive service. We were left waiting a bit at first but it warmed up after that. Great cocktail and wine list. Highly recommended.

We had to book this newly opened restaurant due to its popularity. The fact we received 2 follow up email/texts to conform our booking pointed to the quality of the service this restaurant is renowned for and which we received on the night .
There is a very strong friendly yet professional vibe throughout this establishment. lots of guests were on first name basis with the wat staff AND chef/kitchen staff. What a great indicator to the relationships this restaurant builds with its customers/visitors.

We enjoyed sharing the very fresh Caprese salad. My wife loved the original Sofia Loren Pizza- the pastry was not too stodgy and bloating- and she regarded this meal as one of the best examples of Italian style pizza she had enjoyed in Australia. Our son loved his meat lovers Pizza- again loving the pastry and very tasty fillings. I tried a Seafood risotto sprinkled with clams, fish and mussels as well as pomegranit. A really different but welcomed touch of colour.
I enjoyed a few cocktails, my wife and son shared a very nice Tuscan Red Wine.
We loved this meal and overall dining experience. And so will you.

Great Italian flavours that can be accommodated for a coeliac. Loved the new renovation. We had great service too.

We caught up with our son and wife after months of lockdown. Hoping to treat them to this new restaurant. We had a lovely time catching up but so disappointed with the meal. For the price we paid we hoped for something delicious. My mushroom dish was nice but the boys had a prawn spaghetti...undercooked, one prawn, white and gluggy. The bread served with the Byron bay burrata was so white, thin and dry.
Will not return.

Great food and service . We enjoyed our dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary !

Both our meals were well portioned and tasty.
Complimented by a good quality Italian wine.
Service was pleasant and not over the top.
We will be back again with more friends
