   This was my 6th or 7th time here and as always everything was en pointe! The upstairs area is vibrant and fun but the acoustics make it tough to hear for friends of a certain age so I had requested to be downstairs and our gracious hostess Shavon (?) seated us at the perfect table where the lights are dimmer and the tones are hushed - which is the perfect ambience. Our delightful server, Jasmin, aided with our selections. We shared the classic Dunk, the tender carpaccio and also the ridiculously delicious housemade ricotta. Other stand outs: the wedge salad, the creamy Stracciatella and lovely Limone. The portions and prices were just right. This restaurant never just meets expectations- they exceed them in every way. From the hostesses to the bartenders (upstairs and down) and the servers, every person is remarkably pleasant but not hovering and represent the place well. Enjoy!

   Excellent Italian food! It wasn’t the standard fare, but close enough to not be too far of a stretch. All the food we had was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed, but classy.

   The food is to die for. I had the Sunday pasta... I'm usually not a fan of red sauce, but this was excellent! A little on the salty side, but I liked that. And the meatball and short rib were wonderful. You MUST...MUST get the artichoke appetizer!

   Great restaurant for a FUN night out. Yes, to the Housemade Ricotta (but mainly for the sourdough with olive oil and sea salt). Yes, to the fried artichokes (you won't regret it), and yes, to the Gem salad (because it's fancy, and so are you). Finally, order from the Orange wine list and get the Pasta Limone because you want to twirl your pasta; you'll thank me later.

   Enjoyed the outside atmosphere. The Sunday sauce, aperol spritz, and mushroom toast were excellent! The green salad was just okay and the gricia pasta was a little underwhelming (which was too bad! It looked so good!). It just didn’t have enough flavor.

   Housemade Ricotta- best ricotta I have ever eaten. Fried artichokes-out of this world. Sunday Sauce and Limone entrees- I cannot recommend them enough. Service fantastic- Tia is top-notch! The perfect meal ended with these complimentary Amaretto cookies that I dream about. What a wonderful experience.

   5 Stars! Definitely lived up to the hype starting with the house made ricotta, could eat it everyday. Appetizers were fantastic, and the Pastas were fresh, and delicious. Service was welcoming, and kind. Rhett was a courteous host who didn’t have us waiting for too long, and Carmen was a very amiable server, amazing recommendations, helped us pair a wine, and made sure our food had perfect timing! Definitely gonna be a new regular spot for me

    This is my favorite restaurant at this point. It took me so long to discover it and get a reservation that worked for me. Now I plan ahead so I am not disappointed. It is my "go to" for celebrations with friends and love he menu - creative, healthy options and the most delicious food ever! In making my reservation I asked for a "quiet corner". and our wonderful waiter was totally attentive and also made it clear he would not rush us....as it was a special celebration

    This place is such a gem. The menu is small but mighty! We ordered the cucumber appetizer, as well as the grilled shrimp and braised pork add-on items. My husband ordered the Sunday sauce and I ordered the Limone with rice flour noodles ( have egg allergy and the will let you substitute the rice noodles in almost every dish, so delicious!!). The limone is absolutely amazing, the sauce is rich without being overpowering and doesn’t leave you with a heavy too full feeling. All of our food came out perfect and delicious. We tried a variety of their cocktails and all were very good, our waitress was sweet and attentive. The only negative we had was with the table we were sat at, it was a two seater right next to an open window shade, the shade is quite large since it’s window panels and it made that side of the table restricted. Luckily the table next to us we finished and we were able to scoot a bit. This was not a big deal but we would ask if we could be seated elsewhere if we came back and were asked to sit next to the open shades. This is a wonderful little spot and hopefully a Cincinnati staple for many years

    My party of 4 arrived on time for our reservation (4:30 Thur) and were seated promptly in the main dining room at a window table overlooking the street and the outdoor dining area. The room was bright and elegant, with enough space that we did not feel crowded. One of my guests said she felt we could have been in a bistro in Paris. The hostess and wait-staff were friendly, efficient and helpful describing the menu items. We all enjoyed our meals, wine and cocktails - especially recommend the Limoncello. The check came promptly and was accurate. We will return in the future.

    After SEVERAL months of trying to come here, booked a reservation 2 months out and were still blown away. We were lucky enough to sit outside on a beautiful sunny Sunday evening and truly soaked in the ambiance of this wonderful restaurant. The size of the plates make it perfect for a sharing experience with a significant other or a group of family/friends who want to explore their palate’s, have some incredible wine (or cocktail) and relax. There have been only a few restaurants in the US I’ve been to that can compare to the taste of Italy as well as the general atmosphere and feel of a nice village eatery in Rome, this is most certainly one of them. I cannot recommend this establishment enough, get your name on the books because the wait is worth it!

    Pepp is always amazing! My husband was so glad the Lobster is back and said it was just as good as always. I had the Gricia, which is my favorite, and our friends had the Pesto and the Sunday Sauce. We also shared Homemade Ricotta, meatballs and pork shoulder. My husband had a glass of Chianti and I had the Barbera. Everything was thoroughly enjoyed, especially by our friends for whom it was their first time. Our server Mark was very attentive as well. It was a late Sunday afternoon meal and we sat by the fully open windows, which was very enjoyable. We'll be back soon!
