Service and ambiance good. Disappointed with Mains, but the Burata entre was amazing.

Amazing food, exceptional customer service and excellent atmosphere.

Service exemplary, and the food was great. A bit hard to hear conversation as was quite loud.

Some of the most divine food I’ve eaten in my life with outstanding service considering the hassle of NYE. Truly an award winning Italian restaurant and left nothing but great memories.

Absolutely amazing food and so fresh and quite big portions. Really friendly staff and the food came out in a timely manner. We did however, wish that we knew that we had to pay for the water as the staff continued to keep our table of 6 glasses full (which was great). Will definitely be coming back here!

Reasonable quality food but slow service and appeared understaffed. I was left on a few occasions looking around for many minutes (>5mins) to try to get the waiters attention.

Lovely restaurant but can be noisy inside. We moved to the outside verandah area which still had many tables full, but the accoutics were much better. Great service on a busy night.

The service was poor. Being charged for plain water and not being advised of this until the bill arrived. We won’t be back to this restaurant.

The Ragu and Gnocchi were Devine!!! The cannelloni wasn’t as nice as we’d hoped. Restaurant very loud and the air con con stopped working (thankfully just as we finished 😊). Grace the waitress was AMAZING!!!

Great views of the city. Service was slow but it was a very busy Saturday night. Food was delicious.

The service was absolutely deplorable. We waited 1 hour to get drinks. The staff were rude and cranky. We will not be back.

Our table was not ready for our booking, which was fine but when we sat down the waiter was rushing us to order. The waiter was not very pleasant and seemed very stressed.

Service was rushed and mistakes were made. We signalled a ‘special occasion’ but there was nothing special. Staff seemed not to be coping with the full house. Not accepting Amex at this level is unacceptable.

Found the food to be very salty, and pricing was high compared to the quality. The service staff were very attentive. Very noisy, had trouble hearing other members on our table of 12. Views of the River and City were good.

Service was great. Food was wonderful, The Pork Belly was tasty and tender.

On arrival a lady was on the front desk however walked away to attend to something in the restaurant before we reached the desk. She soon returned and we we then handed over to a member of the bar staff who took us to the wrong table and then we were subsequently moved. Our waiter was nice however seemed to be over worked and we had to call him several times to order more drinks. Food was great and location was good however the service was not to a standard expected of this restaurant. Not sure if I would recommend to others.

Amazing experience at Persone! Food was incredible and the service was immaculate. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants we have been to in Australia. The staff was attentive, and really made the experience so much more enjoyable. We will definitely be going back!

Christmas work dinner with clients
Few things about the food were disappointing. For example, the fish was a bit tough, the veal schnitzel tasted over-crumbed and a bit flavourless, the seafood pasta was bland and lacking flavour.
The honeycomb in the dessert had gone soft and was extremely chewy. One lady lost the filling in one of her teeth from it.

Great service and delicious food. Always a joy to spend some time in this hidden gem.

First meal out for a long time given the way 2020 has panned out. Staff at Persone were attentive and the meal itself was excellent. Portions were very generous and I'd definitely suggest sharing entrees if you don't have a large appetite. The quality of the food was excellent and everyone at our table remarked on the taste.
We felt well looked after for the entire night, from having drinks out on the balcony all the way through to enjoying a glass of wine after the meal. The staff did not rush us and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.
The only negative was the fact that our initial wine choices were unavailable but the wait staff were able to suggest alternates that were well appreciated.
Will certainly be looking to dine here again.

The food, atmosphere, service , location, everything was outstanding at Persone’s.

Food was tasty. Desserts too busy and overdone with presentation. Classic 90s style. Small serve of ice cream and bland tira misu. Table was too small for 2 people(60cm/2 ?), kept playing tetris with plates and glasses when food arrived. Jamed against wall and between two larger tables. Not comfortable. Wine overpriced.

We came for a celevration of grade 12 graduation and were attended to by Andrew. Brilliant service. Just about the right size meals for all of us, but sadly we could not quite fit quite all the food in.
