Beautiful resturant stylistically.
Horrible service. I went for a double birthday party. Do NOT host your bday there. We had about 8/9 people with us. We sat down at 8, our drinks didnt arrive for 40 minutes. We had to incessantly check in again and again where our drinks were. Our order wasnt taken for an hour. All of the appetizers came with the food- all of which came out over 2.5 hours after we sat down. Our orders were WRONG! Beans in things that were requested to not have beans. And not even to mention the two birthday orders came out much later. Out waitress had to ask us what we even ordered to put the order in again as if it was missed. We were late for our next event. And not to mention, the manager Micah- was such a disrespectful deceitful person. Micah laughed in out faces when we told him how horrible the service was and asked for our meal to be comped as thats the least he could do. He pointed at us from across the room and laughed at us. How rude? How disrespectful? That’s not how you run a resturant. Terrible resturant. We felt as if we were held hostage. Not even to mention all of the massive party tables with skinny white women, were served immediately with minimal wait. Do not go to this resturant. We were there from 8-11 and lost our entire evening. Complete waste of time and money. Worst birthday ever.
Food on point. Restaurant was a little too loud, but food was free so I can’t complain.. except about the company. Actually, no comment.
I would definitely go back. What more can I say?
First off the service and the front was excellent. They attended to every need. The tortillas were the best I’ve ever had. That’s where it peaked for me. I have the taco salad that was less than appetizing. The other guests enjoyed their meals but I left mine. You can see anything in the restaurant. And there was an obnoxious table next to us. The scourge of me. I would go back for the tortillas and try something else.
amazing service and food love this place! the location and vibe are perfect
Wet, bland food.
Great for birthday celebration! Great food and drinks!
They were out of two only dishes I usually order.
Food was good. Definitely a hot spot, and selected by my 20 year old daughter. Menu was different than your typical Mexican, and many vegetarian options. We asked to sit at a quiet table, as the noise level inside was way to loud. Thankfully they sat us on the patio which was quieter, but cold. The patio heater wasn't working, and it took many attempts and at least 30 minutes to get it to heat. The wait staff was not as attentive as they could have been, obviously forgetting that they had a table on the patio.
My go to on Friday nights. Always good food and great service!
Used to love this place. Now the service is terrible and the food was just meh. BIG decline!!! Too bad.
Margaritas tasted very off and service was unreasonably slow.
One of my favorite places on Mondays for their all night special. Great for groups, great food, and service. The churros are divine too!
Found hair in my food twice. I didn’t mention it to not ruin my mom’s birthday but really regret it. Took my mom for her birthday along with my sisters, they all complained that the service was slow even though there wasn’t many patrons. Waiter forgot many items we ordered. Drinks were good. Also there’s no heater!
Service was awful and ended up biting into a large chicken bone in my taco. Their resolution was removing $4 from the total bill. Will not return and do not recommend to anyone.
Great atmosphere and drinks. Food was mediocre and the server was hit and miss. Won’t rush back. Mercado is much better.
If you’re looking for a typical “taco Tuesday” environment, this is not your spot. I could appreciate the calm, laid back vibe, although it was a bit hard to see what we were eating in the dark. Our table was a tight squeeze with the next patron and we had this large concrete pillar on the side of us, mostly blocking our ability to interact with the wait staff.
The food was ok. The queso dip with beef was a nice appetizer. My steak quesadilla was a good size portion but the tortilla was a bit burnt. My husband ordered the crispy tacos, which only come in beef - you pay PER taco, which I thought was expensive, and you didn’t have the option to sub in another meat. Also, neither the quesadilla or tacos come with sides - no rice, no beans, no nothing.
The service was ok - we were never asked if we wanted anything other than water to drink. Once we requested a coke, we’d received (after waiting for a while) and it was off. We initially thought it was due to it being the ‘Mexican’ coke version, but when we had asked, that assumption was wrong. The server offered another, and it taste the exact same - off. You’d think after hearing a complaint on the coke, that the bartender would taste it before sending another back out. But did not. By this time, our Uber had arrived so we just left, paying for a drink we couldn’t enjoy.
No host at the stand for quite some time, an apathetic bartender, and REALLY loud (but good) hip hop music.
The vibe was ok. The food was good. Not really service focused. Decor is fantastic, but couldn’t elevate the slack, unprofessional “yeah, when I get to ya” attitude of the staff.
Food was good nothing to special. But the ambiance was outstanding, loved the vibe of the restaurant. Although, we had a bad waitress who took our order and never came back. She ended up having a someone else bring out our food. We were looking for her the entire time. I would go back again but the service would be my only hesitation.
Food was very mediocre for the price. I felt robbed. Good value for the beer but my combination plate was all rice and beans (which tasted straight from the can!). My carne asada taco and enchilada were tiiiiiiiiny and dry af. The little frozen microwaveable one from Trader Joe’s we’re better. They didn’t even have corona beer. All in all it was a very disappointing dining experience. I wish I went to tortilla republic instead. Also the music was extremely loud.
Such a cool, upscale vibe without being obnoxious or pretentious. The staff was so friendly and accommodating (I was there for business drinks and it was a little loud, so they sat me in the restaurant's most quiet area). The food & drinks were delicious (we tried several things) the lights were low and the music was great. A perfect place to kick off the weekend with friends or a date.
Whenever we go here, we always say, "Why don't we go here more often?" Yes, it can seem a bit scene-y, it's very dark and hip inside, but the service...it's just great. Everyone has always been super friendly to us, very attentive, and just...fun and nice. The food has always been outstanding--yes, it IS a bit pricey, $25 or so for a two taco platter is silly, and the house margarita, while really quite good, just feels small for $15. (Which, okay, maybe why we don't go here THAT often.)
Your mileage may very, but everything we've had here, from the tacos to the salads to the burrito has been really good. Great place for a date for sure, though the bar is mighty inviting for getting a drink or two.
Had a great experience for our Birthday dinner!
What is up with the loud music? I never mind music but to the point that you can’t hear a thing of what the other people are saying is just too much. Bummer because the place is great.
Loved it, went for my cousins bday and sat at the cutest table!
Usually I have a better dining experience. Service was extremely slow and we were not greeted by server until someone from our table notified the hostess stan, 20+ minutes. Drinks and special requests had to be followed up with multiple times.
Too loud to hear. Too dark to see what was on my plate.
The food is gross
Great restaurant— they didn’t have my reservation in the system, but good otherwise.
Terrible service waited forever for our food , came out at different times. For my birthday churros they just reheated old ones in bad oil. My tacos were salty basically Taco Bell would have better food. Wouldn’t recommend this place to a soul!
It was nice enjoyed the meal but the table for two was very tight small round table that didn’t fit our food . We asked to change they said they can’t move us although restaurant was half empty at 8:30 .
Amazing food and service.
This is my new favorite place! Love the food and lively vibe!
Food was delicious, the place is super cute, ambiance is great. The service however is very bad.
Awful table service! After being seated for a 9pm dinner reservation on Thursday night, the server (female, pretty, brown hair, tall-ish, olive skin) took 15 minutes to stop by our table for the first time and take our drink order. By 9:30pm she had not come back to even take our food order and our cocktails were definitely in need of a refill - it was a first date and I was ready to order big! I walked up to her as she was putting another table’s order in to the computer and requested the check without having yet ordered dinner. It is unacceptable to be so inattentive. No tip.
Very very loud
Food was cold and underwhelming. Server took my drinks before I was finished without asking and walked away. Ambiance is amazing but service was okay.
The worst service I’ve experienced this year.
