Always wonderful service and value. Staff are courteous and professional. I love going there taking friends and family.
Always an excellent choice. Consistent service and food.
Totally sweet old-fashioned French food. All of the classics, reasonably priced wine list and great service. Our favorites: crab cakes, bread pudding and (weirdly) the side salads. Also a bottle of Gevrey Chambertin for < $100.
Delicious! One of my favorite places to eat in the area!
The employees were all nice, beautiful elegant restaurant. Yummy food. But the only reason I didn't give 4-5stars, is they only offer valet. It was a Monday night, an valet guy said I'd have to park on street if I didn't valet. So I did, an theyr were so many parking spots available. I always refuse to do valet. . My server was awesome, she took great care of me an everything was served in good timing. An the salmon was so yummy.
great for excellent service really could not find anything wrong with the dinning experience.
This is our favorite place to go in Atlanta. The food is always wonderful and the atmosphere always pleasant. No matter what the occasion, you can be sure you will have a great experience.
Truly European food! Very friendly and knowledgeable server Bri. I just wish they had a few more of the foods from the Game menu year round like Spätzle. We will definitely go back!
Aways excellent - service& food both music was very nice
Plan on returning. Few small things of note kept my review "honest" but nothing that is a turn off. Ambiance is fantastic, it is "upscale" without pretentiousness, the noise level was perfect. Great experience all around.
It is hard to finish your meal when server is removing plates from your group. Food was fantastic!
The French Onion was outstanding. The Veal and the Beef Short Ribs were also very good. The pricing is very fair for the level of food offered. I found the atmosphere charming . The Bread Pudding was delicious to cap off the night.
Petite Violette is always very nice. We were there for the New Orleans dinner and enjoyed the special menu items. We hope the restaurant adds the oyster rockefeller to their regular menu.
The food and service was great! I will be back! The food was hot and fresh and the desert was amazing. We wanted to get the jambalaya and grits but my husband and I don't eat pork. Another friend that was with us, her lamb chops were over cooked.
We had a 6:30 reservation and we were seated immediately. The table next to us were seated a few minutes later. They had their wine, appetizers and then salads before we even got our wine
Always a superb experience. The service is excellent. The menu has much variety and the food is so very very good! We come here often for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed
Wonderful experience. I only wish they had kept the gruyère salad from the old menu. It was always my favorite.
I treated my husband to his birthday dinner at Petite Violette, and everything was perfect from the start to the finish. We started with a bottle of delicious OneHope sauvignon blanc and dinner rolls. My husband loves oysters, so we shared the oyster appetizer. Since that was very filling, I ate the crabcakes appetizer as my entree, which was enough with the side salad that came with the crabcakes. My husband enjoyed his lamb rack entree. We shared the best chocolate chip whiskey bread pudding for dessert that we have ever eaten - a wonderful balance of flavors and warmth with an ice cream scoop on the side. Our server Carson took excellent care of us.
When Violette and Petite Auberge joined forces a few years ago, they brought the best of both established restaurants together. Violette has the ambiance (including entertainment many nights each week) and signature classical French dishes and Auberge brings the cuisine of the Alsace region and a thriving olive oil boutique. On a recent visit, we sampled their New Orleans Mardi Gras menu and noted their partnership with the Atlanta Opera in their "Dinner & a Diva" series. This is also a great restaurant for wedding rehearsals and other group events.
Birthday celebration for my dads 87th! The perfect place. We had the round table and it was the best!
The atmosphere was warm-cozy and elegant on a very rainy Thursday night. We immediately shed our wet coats and settled in for a perfect dinner. As a bonus, there was live entertainment (French ballads/songs). Our waiter was attentive but did not intrude on or hurry us. The food was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing.
The food was excellent as usual, but the service was very slow and it was not very busy. I had a friend with me on her first visit, and I felt embarrassed about the service after I had bragged on the restaurant so much.
Nice wait staff. Salads looked beautiful. Special of shrimp and grits did not have much grits.
The dinner was amazing. The staff was very active and available. The manager was on the floor and making sure everyone was being well take care of.
The food wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't as good as expected considering the price.
Great service and a delicious meal! Perfect!
We couldn’t make it for Valentines Day but celebrated the Saturday after. We were seated quickly when we arrived. Our server was pleasant and The escargot was perfectly prepared and delicious.
Food was certainly good, but hardly to die for. Prices are reasonable for what is clearly a fine dining venue.
Petite Violet never fails to deliver a great dining experience. We had a perfect Valentines dinner there. Bucause the value is so good we eat there on a regular basis. So glad to have this gem in our neighborhood!
A special Valentine dinner and celebration. Special attention, as usual, from our server, Carson. He is the very best! Dan and Don
A great experience both food and service were excellent
An altogether delightful experience. Even during a very busy Valentine's Day lunch, our server was attentive and helpful. Our food was delicious and very attractively presented. The bread pudding, with an extraordinary vanilla sauce, was a particularly tasty finale. My husband and I love to celebrate special occasions at Petite Violette.
Petite Violette is known to serve fine French specialties for over 45 years. They have got an amazing collection of red wine, but I personally always go for a Rosé if I’m given the option.
For their food, I thought the crab cake had the perfect texture, not too dense and doughy. I have heard great things about their Beef Wellington, but too bad it has pork in it. So I tried the filet mignon instead and it was cooked perfectly to a warm pink center.
For dessert, I got my usual- the creme brûlée because I think you never go wrong with a creme brûlée.
Im not sure if it’s the type of restaurant where you’d go with friends and chill, it’s more of formal place where you’d go on a date or a special occasion.
Our waitress was a little lost at the beginning but got her way through a great service. Really good food and ok wine list. Good experience.
Food, staff and ambiance were lovely.
Lovely venue, excellent wait staff and hostesses, delicious and reasonably priced food!
Great drinks at the bar with Karen and food was really good. We were celebrating a birthday and greatly appreciated the bread pudding with a candle.
Wonderful service. Had bison bouergignon and trout and foie gras. Great experience!
I hadn’t been there in years - it was one of my late parents’ favorites. Just as wonderful as I remembered. Charming. Warm and unobtrusive service. Well-priced and delicious, abundant offerings. Good choice of wines by the glass. We'll be back!
