   Nice settings , the wine sommelier could have been a bit more helpful, but over priced as we dined at Ramsay restaurant which is 3 Michelin stars and was less money. Overall a nice experience

   First its worth noting that I eat out a lot and generally do tasting menus so the ‘experience’ is not unusual for me. But also my expectations may be higher than others who are perhaps less used to this sort of dining experience. The restaurant itself is very nice and the staff are all friendly. There was nothing fundamentally wrong with anything but some things just weren’t quite right either. Despite the errors though the majority of the loss of stars is the fact that nothing was memorable or exceptional. You should want to go back and I don’t. There was a very hard sell at the start for the Discovery menu and the waiter more or less forced it upon the person who could not eat seafood saying he could swop them for better dishes etc but in the end that person got exactly the same as the Prestige menu with the exception of having beef. It was really far too oversold in my view. The wine pairing, which some of the table had, did not compliment the food at all and the feedback was it was just 5 random glasses of wine. There was a long delay in the wine arriving for those having the pairing and that delayed the nice ‘cheers’ at the start of the meal for all of us. On to the food: The amuse bouche were nice although the pastry from the lobster/avocado one wasn’t the best in my view. Most of us enjoyed the Spelt Ragu to start and in fact I thought it was one of the best courses. The scallops were cold and slightly overcooked but still edible. The cod was bland but nicely presented and the sauce was nice The venison was good and the beetroot chutney with it was excellent The cheese plate was nice but the crackers were dreadful. They were soft and crumbly and tasteless and not at all suitable. The fruit bread alternative was good though, even if not crisp. I enjoyed the sorbet and granita but there was mixed views at the table The chocolate desert was very good, nice texture and flavor Petit fours also very good

   Paring wine quality could be better - I ordered the prestige £188 pp one The veal was too salty One gentleman who served our wine could be more patient, when he asked to take away the unfinished glass of wine, my friend gently said - no hurry yet. The gentleman was apparent offended and unnecessarily replied in a slightly louder voice: I am not in hurry! - which made the situation a bit awkward…

   1 scallop had slightly metallic aftertaste cod very slightly overcooked otherwise food excellent but extremely limited menu chefs should be able to manage a few more dishes even at such a high level of attention to detail ... and overpriced . Service exceptional of course, highly professional , as it should be in such an establishment .

    Excellent service, Mo and Angelo were excellent servers. Food presentation was brilliant, food flavor was good but but fell short of the $500 + check. Ambience was good. Overall good experience. However, I will pay this much for Alain Ducas not for Petrus.

    The Prestige tasting menu was excellent, end to end. Absolutely delicious choice of main ingredients, with perfectly balanced accompaniments. Service and setting was also pleasantly balanced between attentive, accommodating and fun. Restored our faith in fine dining.

    This was quite simply an amazing dining experience! From start to finish, the staff and service were impeccable and they made us feel like special guests. The food can only be described as divine and the wine list was impressive. My only comment is that drinks may have been a tad expensive (but not unbearably so). Frankly, I would describe Petrus overall as flawless! This was my first visit but it will most certainly not be my last. Highly recommended and hearty congratulations to the entire team. Bravo!

    The service and staff are nice and friendly. They have all my respect. However,the food unfortunately was disappointing for a Michelin Star restaurant. The flavours are not unique and for the extortionate price you pay. You would expect a much more unique flavour experience with such pricing. Specifically, the dessert and some of the appetisers were average in the sense they tasted ok but not great.

    Booked Chef’s Table, and not much else to say, except that the Michelin star speaks for itself. Everything 10/10. Staff, atmosphere, food, all perfect. And the Chef’s Table is right next to the kitchen as well. Very good experience. Thanks.

    We had the Discover menu and the meal from start to finish was phenomenal. I had never teared up before when eating food, but the apple parfait hit every note I want in a great dessert, making this the first time. Every aspect was great, and I could not have it any other way.

    My dad and I go somewhere to try new foods every year, and I am a die hard Gordon Ramsay fan so, so surprise, we go to Gordon Ramsay restaurants. At Petrus we went with separate tasting menus and we both loved them. The staff were fantastic and it was clear the guest experience was number 1 most important. There are some foods we dont like in general, but the eel we had (we hate eel) and it was delicious. Would recommend

    One of the most perfect meals I have ever had! My boyfriend and I both ordered from the Prix Fixe lunch menu and everything we had made us feel like giddy children on Christmas morning. There is a reason why this is a Michelin Star restaurant and rightly so! Would love to come back next time we are in London

    Food was excellent and the service was first class, however wine, as expected was very expensive by the glass. A 125ml glass was between £16 and £70. When the drink was poured at the table there was nothing like 125ml. At best there was 50ml. To be fair to the manager when mentioned when asked if everything was ok he did take off the two glasses from the bill. Very disappointing as appeared intentional
