P.F. Chang's - Dedham
It was great! Food was delish. Server was top notch!
We were seated about 20 minutes past our reservation but with Covid Restrictions it is understandable. Food was good and our server David was very good.
Very slow service. Several visits and it’s been the same experience

Made reservation two weeks in advance for New Year’s Eve. When we arrived, we were told it would be 1.5 hours to get any food because they had too many take out orders. Ridiculous.
The kitchen was overwhelmed with takeout orders being Christmas Eve it’s to be expected. I think the cooks did the best they could, and the staff handled it well. Unfortunately takeout customers were waiting in the dining room area and not exercising Covid guidelines. Not a fan of the music that was playing. Maybe more festive and change it up a little bit. Our waitress was Michelle, she was great, thanks.
It was so nice to be able to take my daughter out for dinner. We enjoyed cocktails and a leisurely meal. Our server Michelle was very attentive and provided us with outstanding service. I was also able to use my free entree reward which made it things even nicer. Thank you to all the P.F. Chang’s staff for the hard work you do. This customer appreciates you very much!

Enjoyed this afternoon visit with my friend. The food was very good and we both enjoyed our cocktails. Our server Demitri was very attentive. He got everything right on spot. Found the restroom to be nice and clean during this visit. We also really like the new jackets that the servers are wearing. Looks very handsome on our server. Looking forward to come back again real soon.
Unfortunately I did not enjoy this visit due to receiving dirty utensils (twice) and a filthy ladies room.
With all the sanitizing being done for COVID i would expect that the utensils and bathrooms be extra clean. This threw off my appetite and I couldn’t wait to leave.
My server is the best I’ve had from prior visits and this was not a reflection on him. Also the food was hot and tasty but the ambiance wasn’t up to par.

They were heavily challenged with staff. We waited more than 1 hour and the place was not busy at all, just backedup with take out orders.
Just when I think this experience at PF Chang’s would be different than the prior visits, they continue to disappoint. Seated on time. Server was lost from the beginning. Apology after apology about slowness of the kitchen, which is another issue, and how busy our server was. We sat and watched all of the other servers, and their attentiveness to their tables. Our server was clueless throughout. Kitchen was ridiculously slow. I understand that we are living in different times, but this PF Chang’s location simply continues to be poorly managed. I understand that the volume of takeout and delivery orders is presumably up versus the past, but the kitchen does a very poor job of managing takeout/delivery and in-person dining. Service continues to underwhelm. Do better.
Very nice dinner on the outside patio on a lovely evening. The only complaint would be that there were some stretches of time (5 to 10 minutes) where not a single server would be in sight or otherwise available.
Let me start with I love PF changs in Boston. I used to like coming to the one in Dedham too. That said the review below is very similar to an experience I had here a few years back.
Reservation made: 7:15 PM. Arrived 7:05 PM. There was a line to get to the hostess but that's expected in this day and age. It slowly moved forward until there were two parties flanking the hostess desk, and then there were us in front. The hostess confirmed that we had a reservatation and were early, could we sit in the foyer until she called us. Kind of annoying but OK. So we wait as many other folks came in and were seated. After about 15 minutes we were called back and taken to our table outside. No one asked if we wanted to sit there, but it was a good night for it.
The table was empty. No silverwear or anything. Let's assume it's because it was sanitized. We pulled up the menu on our phone so we had planned drinks to begin. And we sit. And we sit. And we sit. Finally a server comes over and takes the drink order and heads off. And we sit and we sit and we sit. Drinks come, server goes with app order. We drank our drinks and we sit and we sit and we sit. It's now 8:30. No food No server No refreshed beverages. Tables around us remain dirty after guests leave. Finally we asked for the check so we could get to Whole Foods for togo meals before they closed. Waiter doesn't appologize brings check and dissapears. And we wait. and we wait. Finally we drink and dash because, well screw it. I'll NEVER come back there.
Wife and I go for gluten free food the last couple of times we have been the food and service have been very good we waited for 1 hour for our food to come out and it wasn’t that busy that’s a long wait
This wasn’t my best dining experience at PF Chang’s. The server just didn’t connect with us from the beginning. Never brought my soup. When dinner was finally served I had to ask for the water which was requested when we first sat down. Food tasted good at the restaurant but made me sick later that night.
Despite having an Open Table reservation last Sunday, the hostess refused to seat us at our specified time when we arrived. She told us we would have to wait 45 minutes for a table. The restaurant was empty, there were only a few people scattered at various tables. I politely spoke to the manager, and showed him my reservation. The hostess told her manager "I don't care what the computer says, I am not seating them" With that attitude, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Restaurants are hurting right now, I get that. But insulting your customers and refusing to seat them when they have a reservation won't make things any better.
The service and food was very good, very fresh, not your typical Chinese food which is usually heavy with sauce. We loved the chicken lomain and the sweet and sour chicken was not overly sweet. The sauce on the sauteed Chinese eggplant had a nice flavor to it. The lettuce wraps were tasty and fun to eat! Even though we were stuffed, we managed to get all the donut holes eaten.
Horrible customer service when seated. Had no idea what they were doing. Waiter was great

Really enjoyed our dinner out. Great drinks and the food was very fresh and tasty. Also so glad the hot and sour soup is back on the menu. Our server George was very attentive. He didn’t miss a thing. We were impressed that he just started. Look forward to returning soon!
Open table was not connected to this restaurant, so when we got there we didn't have a reservation and had to wait for a table. Once we got a table, the service was very slow. Got our food before our drinks.
Very bad experience. Even with fewer tables to manage, our waitress took forever to bring us items (drink delivery took 20 mins) and we generally had to flag her down or go search for her to get something delivered.
It took 20 minutes for bill delivery, then 15 more for change to be returned, only to find it was $10 short.
I will not go back to this location.

Food and service was very good. However, we did have a minor problem with the reservation. I booked through OpenTable but when I got to the restaurant, they told me that they could not see any Open Table reservations. We still got a table outside so all’s we’ll that end’s well

Service was a bit on the slow side ordering drinks, food, out of stock on hot and sour soup (?how does that happen?)
This was an absolute disaster. Completely embarrassing for me since I picked the dining choice for my family of 7.
Food came out very, very slow and even cold and in stages (my wife and one of my son’s finished their meals before another 2 sons got theirs) and there were several missed sides and yet was still charged for them. The server said she’d comp the missed sides. Comp’d? I never got them. It’s not a “Comp” It’s taking them off the bill I informed her.
Plus- The restaurant was not busy. It was ¾ empty on a Thursday night with very mild decent weather at 645. It was like a morgue in there. Extremely uncomfortable.
But yet the server who was one week into her new position had nine tables…some of which were fairly large.
Service was not up to par. We sat at our table for 20 minutes with no service. We had to ask for our server, napkins, silverware, and water. Appetizer took forever and ended up being cold. Main meal was ok.
First of all, the restaurant didn’t have my reservation. When I told them I booked through Open Table, they said, oh we haven’t updated that app. The service was slow even though there were only a couple of tables. Erica could have cared less about serving us. Very mono toned. Forgot to bring over spicy mayo when we asked her. My friend got a spiked peach drink with popping boba and he couldn’t even eat the boba because he was given a small straw. The sushi fell apart every time I picked up a piece with my chopsticks. The experience was okay. The food is decent for a pricey restaurant.
The waiter was very nice.
It took 20 min to get a coke. The manager stood and talked for at least 1 hour straight with other staff without moving positions. The service was the slowest ever. No checking to see how food was, no refills. Food and appetizers all out at the same time. Maybe 5 other booths in entire restaurant were seated-so pretty quiet. There was only one male waiter who actually hustled and had work ethic. No one else could bother with anything—including bussing tables that were empty for over 40 min.
They clearly have no drive to stay in business...
Enjoyed my lunch of Sesame chicken. Food was fresh and service was good. Also enjoyed one of the special New Year drinks- The Red Lantern. They were all out of lanterns but I thought the drink was pretty good! They also gave me a red envelope with a gift card so I can come back later this month! That was awesome!!

I have been to this PFChang years ago. Then I thought it was fabulous. On this visit I didn’t feel as if the food and atmosphere was outstanding. Our server was very sweet. I don’t think I will be running back soon.

Several friends met for lunch on a Sunday afternoon at this PF Chang’s location. The service was excellent, and the food and drinks were very good. PF Chang’s seems to have consistent food at the locations I’ve visited. Great spot for gathering with friends.
