P.F. Chang's - San Diego

P.F. Chang’s is and remains one of my favorites. Some scoff that it’s “not real Chinese”, but I don’t care. The food is delicious, the service good and the ambiance is OK with me. I look forward to freedom from Covid19 regulations, so PFC can get its energy back. Not your fault, PFCHANG!

My husband had Chilean Seabass and I had the Miso Glazed Salmon, both with spinach. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband said it was a real treat, a superior dining experience!

Pepper beef not cooked all the way through. Rice was cold.

Such a great place to bring friends because of the service and delicious food!

Excellent afternoon of food and fun. We made the 3pm to 6pm Happy Hour which is great. Excellent value and always a good time!!!

That was the most expensive and worse ramen I’ve had at a restaurant.

Restaurant was not busy. Food didn’t seem fresh.

Great atmosphere, great service. We had a large party and served all of the dishes family-style. Worked great for all of us and we even had leftovers.

Great service- the hostess was wonderful too.

Service bad food worst the menu and quality of food has change

Unfortunately they took some items off the menu, including my favorite dish. The menu is smaller and the portions are smaller, not big enough to share around the table any longer. My family and I really loved PF Chang's for our Friday night meals, but not sure if we will return with these changes.

We did not know that PF chang's had a happy hour. Our reservations just happened to be during happy hour. The value was excellent.

Overall great

It was a busy Saturday night for the restaurant. The hosting staff seemed novice and was seriously underestimating the wait times. We arrived fifteen minutes before our reservation and had to wait fifteen minutes beyond what our reservation time was.

Our server was nice. The only issue was when my husband ordered a beer, it was served warm. He returned it and the server brought out a fresh beer, again warm, but at least brought a cold glass. The food was good and was served in a timely manner.

It was my first time at Pf Chang’s. Food was amazing, service was amazing. My table for reservation which was higher than the max count on open table was ready prior to arrival. Will be coming back again soon to this particular location.

Food was great, we had to ask them to turn the music down as it was too loud. They were very polite and complied.

We have a reservation at 6:15 pm. When we arrived on time we were told we have to wait few min for table. We wait and wait and wait. When I start asking about table 0 min later I was told to wait because a lot of people are upfront of us. That wasn't true. The couple that had reservation at 6:30 were seated upfront of us and what I understood the black girl who directed traffic didn't like my wife accent. After talking to manager table finally become available and we were seated. The treatment we received is unacceptable and hard to understand that person of color will do that.
Manager apologizes and offers free drinks that we decline.

The low rating for service was not due to our amazing server, John, but to the fact that I made open table reservations (for 2 ppl) and still had to wait 20 min! We were both on time and when I mentioned I had an Open Table reservation the hostess said EVERYONE with reservations is waiting 15-20 minutes and customers without a reservation are waiting 25 min. Really? Only 5 min longer to wait with NO reservation? Very disappointed. What is the point of making a reservation if you are forced to wait for 20 min?

The kitchen did not follow very clear and concise directions which our waitress I am sure conveyed. That said, even she , nor other waiters, have basic knowledge about the basic ingredients used in the food preparation...
Finally, the executive chef came out after about 20 minutes of a wait, and then later the manager after multiple requests. The chef was aghast as to what he saw on my plate, rightfully so. He then offered to make it correctly. The manager toook that entree price off of the bill, thankfully.
I highly suggested that they train the waitstaff as to the ingredients and preparation thereof used here. That should go without saying.

My guests were really impressed with the food and said they wanted to come back soon. Besides having great food, being able to order most of the dishes with tofu, rather than meat, makes P.F. Chang's one of my favorite restaurants.
Our server was one of the best we've had. She was friendly, helpful and was there when we needed her. Watching her, I could see she treated all of her tables the same way.

We made reservations through Open Table for 7:00 o'clock.
When we got there the line was out the door. The hostess told us that our wait would be at least 20 min or more. I told her I had made reservations on OpenTable to avoid long wait time. A smile was all I got.
We left and went to North next door. Great service and no wait.

Lousy experience. Had reservations through Open Table. Got there and they couldn't find the reservation. Then, we were told they'd get to us soon. Waited. Waited. Then, waited some more. The three workers on the front end appeared to be overwhelmed and completely clueless. After waiting 20 minutes and watching other parties be seated without another word to us, we left. Noisy, unorganized and a waste of my time. Never again.

We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff. The restaurant has a nice decor and great seating. The food was tasty and we had excellent service! I highly recommend. Great place for lunch or dinner.

It was excellent. The food was so delicious, service was superior, we really enjoyed my mom birthday!

Fabulous New Years Eve. Delicious meal, great service. Wonderful time from start to finish.

Unfortunately, disappointing service this time. Food was OK and and missing essential items, e.g. sauces. When we asked for it, and brought them, was with out a spoon. Servers were not polite and when requesting they had an unpolite attitude.

Sad, as PF Changs is one of our to go local restaurants. Maybe this location is not the one to go.

It was excellent. My husband and I had a terrific time and we had great service.

My only comment would be that it is extremely loud in the restaurant. Food and service was wonderful.

Our experience wasn’t what we were hoping for.
Some surprises when celebrating a birthday. Not the surprises we were expecting.

Three of us that been friends for decades met to catch up. We had a perfect table and the food was delicious. It was the perfect choice and we had a wonderful time.

While the food was delicious, it was evident that there were major flaws with management and/or the kitchen. It took us about 25 minutes to be seated despite our reservations made via opentable. The hostesses also seemed inattentive which did not help matters.

Once we were seated, we immediately put in our order for appetizers because we worked up an appetite from the long wait. However, we did not receive any food within 45 minutes of being seated. The appetizers and entrees all came out at the same time, so the food got cold very quickly. Also, the restaurant was "out" of several items on the menu. Which is pretty absurd for peak dining hours (Saturday night at 7pm)! I do have to say that our server was wonderful, however, and did her best to make up for the obvious cracks. We really appreciated that.

This will be a memorable experience for our family, but unfortunately not for good reasons. I hope this P.F. Chang's figures out a way to iron out its kinks.

I really like PF Chang's and I've always been happy there, however the portions this time were so small. That's never been an issue before. To pay $82 (included tip) for a lunch for 4 and to leave the restaurant feeling a little hungry is just wrong.
