Excellent meals, with quick, responsive service.

Waiter forgot to charge us for one of the two desserts ordered so I'll be sending Phoebe's Restaurant and Coffee Lounge a check for the amount along with an additional tip.

Phoebe's never disappoints. The ambiance, food and service are always great. I gave four instead of five stars for food as the temperature was a tad cooler than I would have preferred. Because of COVID-19, the restaurant was not at all crowded, so I would have expected my dinner to be served much warmer than it was - close to room temperature.

This was my first dining experience since before the pandemic. It was outstanding!!

During this difficult time during the pandemic Phoebe’s was very proactive in taking extra measures for health safety. Paper menus were used and discarded after individual use and social distance was practiced by seating diners at alternating tables. And the meal was delicious.

My theater group LOVES Phoebe's! We go before every show. Wonderfully fresh food (we're very health conscious) and very creative use of ingredients. It is a remarkable setting with brick walls, vaulted ceiling and skylights, wood floors, a grand bar and lots of windows to the streets. The feeling is warm and expansive.

Phoebe's has a great menu selection that changes with the seasons.

Phoebe’s has for us been that outstanding go to place since the early 80’s. It does not disappoint. Consistent creative and great service.

This is the third (and last) time we have come here before going to a play at Syracuse Stage. Our reservations were for 90 minutes before our play. Our server did not come to our table until over 20 minutes after we were seated. He insured us we would be able to order apps and a main course and get out in time for our show. He was wrong!! We had to get our food to go. The food is subpar at best. I order the duck which was grey. the crab cakes were small and scallops were over cooked. The prices are high end and the food is subpar. It is not worth the time or money!!!

Valentine’s Day for two parents that don’t have the opportunity to get out much due to children’s activities and everyday life.

Food and service were great. Had a lovely evening. Had specialty cocktails they we enjoyed.

Our experience at Phoebe's has been mostly good. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. However, the food is hit and miss. On our valentine's evening out food was below average and overpriced. One of the entrees that were a featured special at 28.00 was a barely-there stuffed lobster without the lobster or the stuffing. The lobster, what was there was poorly cooked and the crab stuffing added up to maybe two small mouthfuls. They served this with a la dent french green beans and wild rice. A very disappointing entree.

We had Valentines Day dinner-date a day early to be the crowds and better fit our schedule. It was outstanding! Thanks

I dine at Phoebe's every time I am up in Syracuse on business. The food is consistently on point and the staff is very attentive. I usually travel alone, so I sit at the bar where Emily does a great job. No matter how busy she is, she acknowledges you quickly, makes you feel welcome and is quick to give you a recommendation. She is very engaging (a lost art in a bartender) with all of her patrons and makes a helluva Dirty Martini. I would highly recommend this place.

The customer service at this restaurant is excellent. My husband's steak had to be sent back two times for being very rare when he had asked for it to be Medium Well, but the Assistant Manager not only didn't charge us for his meal but also sent us off with 3 free desserts for the inconvenience.

Lovely place. The food was very good. The ability to have smaller portions was very appreciated. The Apple tart desert was excellent!

We were disappointed that we were put in the function room. We were there for a special occasion and wanted the main dining room atmosphere. Other than that, we had an excellent time!

I live in Rochester, and have lunch with family at Phoebe's a couple of times a year. It is always worth the drive. Yesterday was a quiet Monday. We were seated in a window nook. The Phoebe's atmosphere--wood, plants, whimsical signage--always feels like home. I had a mushroom risotto, my dining companions a steak salad special and a lettuce wedge salad and dessert. The risotto was dreamy, and the other items got good reviews. The piece of cheesecake was enormous, and my fellow lunchers thought it was great. (I am not a cheesecake eater.) The service was friendly and competent. I look forward to my next trip down the Thruway.

We had some very special guests accompanying our exhibiting artist at the Point of Contact Gallery Rafael Trelles, who traveled from San Juan, Puerto Rico to visit us for the first time, and this was the perfect place to celebrate the occasion! Always GREAT to come home to Phoebe's !!!

Overall experience was good. Mashed potatoes with entree were too simple and chicken had very little flavor and swam in watery gravy. Disappointing since our last visit a few years ago in the fall.

Definitely an off night. Have been to Phoebes before and enjoyed it. Not busy at all last night, and waitstaff was fine. Food was the issue - 2 seafood entrees were both overcooked and on the dry side. $28 for 4 average sized scallops with overcooked broccoli and some cheese and breadcrumbs. Again, not characteristic of what we have experienced before, but will take Phoebes off our list for a while.
