Having this being the first time there, the overall was considerably good, The noise level was very high, we had to almost holler across the table to hear each other talk, that part we both said was not good, The food took a very long time to come out, about after 30 or so minutes our waitress came to apologize & then said I see you never got the appetizer either, & again apologized then said she would take it off the bill if we still wanted it, it was a nice touch that they did give a free desert since we were celebrating our 42nd Anniversary, When we did get our Entree's they were very tasty, however not sure if we will return

We had a delicious meal with great service and a thoroughly enjoyable time at Pierpont's. I'd recommend this wonderful restaurant in the historic Union Station to anyone for any occasion. It's a wonderful place to go for a special occasion but I'd go there for a great meal anytime.

Gorgeous interior, first of all, and just (covered) steps from The Westin Hotel, making this most convenient should one be staying there. I had Sunday brunch. The menu was very inventive but still had some of the traditional standbys. Service was outstanding, from the greeting at the door to the server to the food runner. I hope to return some day for dinner.

Impeccable service and delicious food. Warm sourdough bread was a great way to start the meal. We loved the king crab legs and crab and corn bisque. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Wonderful cocktails and a beautiful bar. We will be back!

Pierpont’s is one of our favorite “fancy” dinner places in Kansas City. The setting in historic Union Station makes it a real “destination” experience and the quality of the food and service only adds to the vintage ambiance. It was a “special occasion” for us and the staff could not have been nicer in acknowledging our special evening (47th wedding anniversary). As always, I would highly recommend Pierpont’s to anyone looking for a wonderful night out.

Pierponts can’t be beat for the ambiance. Our steak was perfectly cooked, and amazing. The sides were mediocre. The ceaser salad had a lot of stem pieces, and only lightly dressed. The asparagus was limp and lifeless. Deserts were amazing however!

The front staff was very helpful and friendly. I made a mistake with a reservation and they made an effort to accommodate us- which they did. Food was great. Dinning staff was very good. Overall a great experience.

Took my mom for Mother’s Day brunch - beautifully lit, super attentive service, and the food was perfectly delicious. My mom (a KC native) had not been back in Union Station since 1977 and she could not stop talking about how great the brunch was. It’s was an excellent date experience to try a high class restaurant. While it said business casual and the felt like on the services might of been rude. Outside was such a lovely day that might of Ben the reason why I got the vibe. After being seated. It took about 20 minutes to get our order in and we both kind of knew what we wanted before hand. The wait staff was amazing. As soon as your drink got to 50% the drinks was back to full. A place to have a great conversation or eavesdrop on neighboring parties. Over hears we’re having a boy, from 3 tables away. Kind of odd since I heard nothing from them until this other table left. It sounded like a middle school graduation. Where the father and his 2 daughter and a friend where planning out their college and high school careers. Once I quit listening to other people conversation. The lighting was night not to dark that you got sleep but bright enough to see everything you needed as well.

The wait staff was just exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, professional yet warm and conversational. The food was amazing. We both had steaks that were expertly prepared and cooked to perfection.

This was the first time we'd been to brunch at Pierponts. I ordered Crab Benedict and my husband ordered the Lemon Lavender pancakes. The portions were ample and beautifully prepared. Everything was delicious ... including the Bloody Mary!! And our server Jan was pleasant and attentive. It was a lovely way to begin our Sunday.

Such a dining experience. Great service. Cool atmosphere. Pricey, but the food is really good. We had steaks (cooked to perfection) and seafood (excellent) at our table. Everyone very happy with their selections.

SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT FOOD EXCELLENT ONLY THING IS I AM NOT SURE IF YO HAVE AGED STEAK LIKE CAPITAL GRILLE.....I HAVE HAD STEAK ALL OVER KANSAS CITY,NEW YORK,AND CHICAGO AGED STEAK IS THE BEST IN MY OPINION I OVER HEARD A WAITER TALKING ABOUT IT TO ANOTHER GUEST I FELT A BIT CHEATED AS THIS WAS NOT OFFERED AND I HAD NOT BEEN TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT BEFORE AND IT WAS MY WIFE AND OUR ANNIVERSARY

Pierpont’s is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is always friendly, professional and attentive. The food is always delicious and looks magazine-worthy. I love the raw oysters, but will try the baked ones on my next visit. My husband raved about the Cocoa Rubbed Filet Mignon! We were able to take advantage of the discount prices on small plates because we arrived during Happy Hour. We celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner there!

What happened? This was our go to for out of town guests. Something has gone wrong. My burger was so dry and overdone (I ordered medium) that it was inedible. The fries were cold, mushy and unseasoned. My wine glass was dirty as well. Even the bread did not appear to be of the same quality. Overall the quality just appears lacking.

Great steak and hamburger. Crab cakes were tasty but I skip them and try something else. Old fashions were perfect and smooth! We will return again soon.

My husband and I ate here for the first time for our anniversary and were absolutely in awe. This was, hands down, the best steak I’ve ever had! My husband had the fillet and loved it! I had the coffee and ancho rubbed Kansas City strip and was absolutely blown away! The lobster Mac and cheese and the triple chocolate mousse cake were also off the charts! They even gave us our desserts on the house to celebrate our anniversary. The Malbec suggested by our sweet waitress was nothing short of amazing. The location is romantic and unique with wonderful staff. You can’t go wrong with Pierpont’s!
