Pilsen Yards is a bar-centric and music-driven hangout in the heart of Pilsen with an open air vibe and one of the largest patios in the city.

Exec. chef Juan Carlos Gutierrez's menu of latin-inspired street food, from tacos to ceviches, hummus to carne asada is plated up next to a mezcal, tequila, & whiskey charged bar program from bev director Lance Bowman, and it’s all on the cheap.

    It was nice but the drinks weren't the best. The server has very distracted and we had to wait a while to get our orders taken. The person at the door was amazing. He greeted us well, sat us quickly and showed us the new space. I really appreciate him for his phenomenal customer service and dedication to the people.

    This place made me feel so special! I was visiting Chicago for my bday and wanted to visit a Latin area before I left back home. Randomly chose this restaurant. The service was fantastic, the food delicious and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Highly recommend

    The patio outback is absolutely the best. Great drinks, great food, always friendly service. Love this place. Not quiet, so be prepared to shout to be heard.

    This was our first time eating at Pilsen Yards and the food, service and ambience are the highlights! The only drawback was that it was too noisy with the combination of loud conversations, (which isn't Pilsen Yard's fault), along with the volume of the music. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent experience...mind the noise.

    Raymond our waiter was very good. Music was really loud. Octopus ceviche was good. Cauliflower and carrots were middling - both seemed to be missing some certain flavor. Tres leches was delicious

    Food was excellent. Roasted carrots were a tad bit too salty for my palate, but all else was excellent. Cocktails were quite nice. The noise level was a bit high for this old man, but the atmosphere was festive and the music was good!

    Food was fine. Music was so loud you had to shout at the person next to you. Maybe I’m getting old but the energy would have been there at half the music volume.

    I love that Pilsen Yards opens at 3:00. Our group stopped-in for drinks and snacks at the time and absolutely loved it. The outdoor space in gorgeous, and service is fantastic.

    We waited about 5 minutes for our table. Folks at the front desk were great. Server was outstanding (Patrick). We had guacamole, salsa and shrimp ceviche for apps. All good - ceviche could be better. We had a lot of different things for dinner and everyone was pleased. Definite worth a return trip.

    I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the chicken was a little dry. I ordered the cheese(the tortilla/taco shell was made out of fried cheese) chicken al pastor tacos and they were a bit salty

    The food is very good! Super tasty and beautifully prepared. It’s just TOO LOUD! Having to shout across the table to have a conversations just doesn’t make for a great experience. I know that’s their vibe and I’m old, but we likely won’t return because of the noise. I don’t understand why some restaurants play loud music, which in turn requires people to shout to have a conversation which just keeps raising the noise level. It’s a shame because the food is good. But the dining experience wasn’t good for us.
