Pink Taco - Boston
Pink Taco cheese sauce, jack cheese, black beans, house pickled jalapeños, pico, avocado salsa, Mexican crema
Chips & Salsa Trio
House salsa, salsa verde, mesquite smoked salsa
The service was great. Food was good, although the chips and guacamole order was somewhat stingy. They have created a cool and lively atmosphere, but be aware that it is loud and may be difficult to hear others in your party.
Date or friends get together
Pink Taco was amazing! The food was very good and the portions were huge. Only negative was the service was a little slow but servers were switching shifts so it was understandable.
The food was AMAZING as always!! Great staff, can’t wait to go back!
We should have known from the time we called to modify the reservation to accommodate one more person that this restaurant wasn’t managed properly. The hostess was less than helpful when we called to inquire about adding another person to our reservation. When we checked in for our reservation and asked if there was a chance we could eat outside since there were empty tables outside. She said it was first come first serve (which implied that there were no reservations taken for outdoor). So my friend said we’d like to sit outside andWhen we made it to the table for our reservation, a manager came by to see how we were doing and asked if he could get us anything. We responded that we’d love some drinks. I can’t remember what he said exactly, but something along the lines of “your server can do that, I’m just saying hi” and walked away. Someone came over to take our drink order and when she came back with the drinks and we asked about ordering some apps she told us she wasn’t our server. Weird. She came over again (she was our server after all?!?) and we aked for chips, salsa, and guac. We asked if we should order 2 servings of guac since there were 6 of us. She assured us one order was plenty. We laughed when the guac arrived bc it was certainly not a generous enough person to serve six hungry people. The salsa was very watery and flavorless. Someone else came over and we asked for another order of chips and guac. Our food finally came, and when the waitress asked if we needed anything, we said we’d ordered some more chips and guac and we were still waiting. She rudely responded that it hadn’t been communicated to her. Very strange experience- the server was unfriendly and seemed very put out by our presence even though we were not being difficult or rude. The food came and it was mostly fine. The soft taco shells were rubbery. The carnitas were pretty good. One person at our table said her chicken had some hard pieces almost like bacon in them.
Went at opening time on a Saturday. Pink pancakes were great! Strawberry daiquiri was also good. Very good for people who are coming for some alcohol.
Was given the wrong order 3 times in a row.
Margaritas are way too salty- taste like the ocean.
Service was not great.
I drove 30 minutes and paid 30 for parking to be treated like I wasn’t paying to be there. I brought my mom here to celebrate being cancer free. We reserved a table and they still acted as if they didn’t know where to seat us. What’s the point of reserving a table then? We had two different waitresses say they were gonna be serving us. We ordered the pink tacos to start and were brought ONE taco on a TWO taco stand. Anyone who didn’t even work there would have know that order was incomplete. By the time the second one came out the first was cold and the waitress actually told me to go ahead and eat as if anyone who has any home training, eats in front of someone else who doesn’t have food. We then ordered two taco bowls and subbed the cilantro rice for Mexican and I still end up with cilantro in my mouth. You would hope after the first mistake the waitress would have cared enough about her table and her job to ensure we were happy. Both the company and the waitress are lucky Im not allergic to it. I had to ask the bartender for the check and he sent the original wrong waitress to a large table behind us to see if they wanted the check when they still had people coming in. After watching her embarrass herself and the company at the large table behind me she got the second waitress from behind the host stand who was sitting down on her phone after screwing up both of the food orders. Probably waiting on more tables to screw up. Then she had the audacity to say we took off the taco bowl and ONE of the tacos for you as if that compensated the way were treated. I had half a mind to ask her and her manager if I was paying for the cold taco or the hot one. SAVE YOURSELF the waste of time and go to citrus and salt. I paid 19 for one drink to get treated like I wasn’t paying to be there. I reached out to corporate and was told to call a number and when I called the number no answer and nobody reached back out. This place won’t last long with the management it’s under.
Great experience, ate outside, good food, greet service, good for casual business meal
The OG pink tacos are amazing & I adored the pineapple margarita. The street corn is also bomb. All of the servers are super friendly. Will definitely return. Yum!!!!
Service was not very quick but not sure if that is because of restaurant staffing shortages. Got the lobster tacos hearing they’re really good— the fried lobster by itself was pretty tasty but overall taco and rice/beans had no flavor or spice along with huge slices of red onion (ended up being the only thing I tasted). Drinks were very good but took a while to get the waitress to the table to order more.
Best tacos I’ve ever had
Go to Pink Taco. Get the OG Pink tacos on the menu. Well worth it
Love it live next door, absolute fire vibe and drinks. Go if you are in the area
The hostess had her work shirt tucked into her bra exposing her entire ribcage down. Our server's back side of bra was completely showing and her work shirt was literally cut to show the cleavage. She handed me my margarita overflowing onto the table (which hey filled to the brim is great but not spilling onto the majority of the table) and then did not clean it up or at the very least, offer a napkin to us to clean it ourselves. All the workers looked purposefully unkempt. The vibe I got from this restaurant was a wanna-be hooters? The runner came to our table twice with our guac not knowing if it was the right table and then arrived with our main courses only to walk away with them to find out if it was the right table and then come back to re-give them to us. The price of drinks and food was extremely fair and the food was bomb. I'd say the only good thing about this place, and I mean that quite literally, was the food and pineapple drink (which was strong so I highly recommend the fr. strawberry).
was on a date with my ex and our waitress’ shirt said ‘you should definitely text your ex’! very fitting great work
Food was amazing. Music was so good and great vibes all around.
Usually love this place. The server was not very attentive, she didn’t write anything down. Three out of the five items we orders came out wrong and everything was cold.
I would definitely recommend this place food amazing , people were awesome
Food was excellent fun vibe and atmosphere, yummy margaritas
The food was ok, nothing special. The queso was good and the lobster tacos were good, but the rice and beans had almost no flavor and the drinks were very simple and not particularly exciting; of the three I tried, they all seemed to be mostly just sweet syrups with alcohol mixed in. Based on the menu and taste of the food, it’s clearly for a specific type of guest and they are well-located for this guest. This place gets a lot of hype but I think it’s just the brand, not the actual experience. Service was good, quick and attentive. There are definitely way better tacos at any place in East Boston. Glad I tried it and I don’t see a reason to go again.
The food was very average. Kind of annoying I wasn’t able to get a chicken taco without cheese since it’s pre-made. Got the shrimp tacos and they were pretty wet from all the sauce. Not great. Drinks were good though!
This was my first time at Pink Taco and it definitely met my expectations! The food and drinks are reasonably priced, compared to other local restaurants, and the portions were a good size. The only thing nobody in my group liked was the rice, it was dry and tasteless. Everything else was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome and our waitress was very sweet, except it did take a long time for her to come over to our table - it was very busy. Definitely make a reservation. Looking forward to coming back soon!
I love Pink Taco - I’ve been a few times before, and I always love it. The only issue this time around is we ordered the guacamole and got the queso dip. We decided not to send it back, and it still tasted good; however, we wish we got the guacamole we ordered. My favorite thing about Pink Taco is their Happy Hour deal from 3-7 pm where there are many discounted foods, such as quesadilla, nachos, guacamole, etc.
Good experience, good drinks, good atmosphere
thank you... we need to come back and experience some more.. tku
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere - excited to go back!
I’ve been waiting to try Pink Taco for a while. In my experience the drinks were reasonably priced (I had Tequila shots, my friend had margaritas). The street corn was delicious but the tacos were a bit lacking. The fried lobster taco was extremely crunchy, maybe they should add more sauce or fry it softer. The grilled Baja fish tacos were tasty and the OG Pink was alright. I was not a fan of the carne asade track it was tough from the tortilla to the steak. I’d probably give it another chance but my curiosity’s been satisfied.
Amazing service and awesome drinks! Food is just okay and definitely over priced!
Service was very poor! No one came for 20 mins and didn’t see our server once after that
It was my birthday and since it was a weekday we had to have a late night reservation. When we got there we did have to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be cleared up. We were 5 so we thought they’d be expecting us. However because of the longer wait we had to order food right away before the kitchen closed. The food came out very fast! Even before our drink orders! The food was very delicious, so definitely recommend. The drinks were also delicious and fun! The only thing that needs improvement is service in staffing. They are well staffed but lack of communication makes it for long waits and it reflects on the service. Our waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert, I’m guessing because by that time kitchen was already closed. Overall, I’d go back. Food and drinks were great!
Lobster Tacos were cold, caesar salad was not what they showed on instagram, very soggy. Ordered chicken for my salad and got carnitas, but the corn was good. Ambience toooo loud you can’t even hear yourself talking or the server. Made reservations and still had to wait 15+ min. Bad experience.
so yummy! Food came quick but they messed up my order a little
Great food and great server. I am visiting Boston for work and would definitely come back here.
The service was ridiculous. The hostess said it would be 10-15 minutes and I would receive an text message, 30 minutes passed and nothing so we went back and she just seated us there, the place was not even busy for there to be a 30 minute wait. The server was not really attentive either.
Fun date spot! Our waitress was not very friendly and tried to rush us along, but otherwise we had fun and would come back. The music did get pretty loud after 8pm so if you want to have a conversation without yelling, I would go earlier.
Loved the drinks, they were excellent. Really loved the up beat atmosphere.
Food was good. Was there for happy hour which was a good deal and filled us up. Drinks were delicious service was very good esp for a Fri night. Sat outside so noise level was better than inside.
The atmosphere is great. They did a great job with the theming and decor. Our server was very friendly and his service was great. He openly gave us his opinion and favorite menu items. Overall it was a great dining experience. All in the restaurant were following MA COVID guidelines.
