The food was ok, wasn’t terrible and wasn’t anything to brag about. Our server, while I can’t remember her name (Monday 11/9/20 7pm outdoor table) was great. She was prompt and offered great service with a decent sense of humor. I’d definitely come back? Would just choose different food items.

Food was worth the stop, service was slow and distracted. Would go back for carne asada tacos.

I had high hopes from all of the reviews I had read. The waitstaff was attentive and accommodating, but the food fell flat in a big way. We had ordered the special bean dip - which was lukewarm at best, and my taco entree was cold, and greasy. As there were only 8 other patrons in the restaurant, I'm sure the food service was lacking due to food prep - not with lack of customer service. Sadly, I will not be returning.

The food was cold and not at all as it was hyped to be. Would not be coming back.

I love the Mexican ambience!

I do not appreciate the receptionist who received us when my group arrived. We may be 20 minutes late on the reserved time but she do not have to reiterate three times and I meant three times! That since we were late that we were bumped with the long line of wait list and it may take a whole one hour. I understand that this may happen but the manner of her delivery was not welcoming and punitive.

My group was celebrating and promoting "Breast Cancer Awareness" and what a better way to promote the cause but in Pink Tacos!

Overall, we had a excellent night. Thank you Pink Tacos.

Went here on a Monday for my birthday, food was good everyone was pleasant and our server Denise was awesome! I’ll definitely go back!

Awesome place!!$ absolutely love the decor!!! And the drinks are Fun!!!

The host service was good and the food was good . The drinks was good everyone was welcoming and we had a really good time .

The host was rude.. upon arriving for our reservation.. was told to wait a few moment then she directed us to follow her only to stop to have a conversation with some other worker and had 4 of us just standing behind her waiting. She then had the audacity to turn around and directed us to follow her again as if we weren’t just standing there waiting for her to finish talking.
The server seemed interested and checked out.. had to stalk her for refills and the food arrived cold. Mind you our reservation was for 8:45pm and by the time we ate close to 10 so no excuse for the poor service and cold food bc the restaurant wasn’t even busy during that time.
Not worth it.. take your money and people and go elsewhere.

The restaurant didn’t honor our reservation. Showed up 5 minutes prior to our reservation. We were told we would have to wait 30 minutes. After waiting the 30 minutes, we were told it would be at least another 30 minutes. Not sure why the restaurant even accepts reservations. Will not be back

Service was pretty bad. Happy hour margaritas are a good deal considering it's located in River North. I was disappointed that I made an outdoor reservation but when I showed up, they were not able to honor this because they had given all of the outdoor tables away. They had basically no system in place for waiting for tables either. The waitress forgot to put in half of our party's drink orders so they waited for 20+ minutes (had already even received appetizers) before she came back and realized her mistake. Not very impressed.

The waitress got the order wrong even after coming back to confirm. She never stopped back to ask how our meal was for us to even correct the order. We weren’t asked if we wanted another round of drinks. The restaurant was barely busy.

The lobster enchiladas were my hands down favorite! Great ambience, food and drinks.

Great drinks and the best nachos! Our server was amazing and the environment was very welcoming.

Not too good. Service was awful. Seated 3 of us at a table meant for 2. Waited 15 mins for a server and water. Server spoke to us without a mask. All of our food did not fit on the table so we had to hold some things in our laps and waited for another table. This made the food less enjoyable, of course. I doubt I’ll go back.

It was lovely. They had options for indoor and outdoor because it had just opened. We had mimosas for breakfast and came back later for drinks.

Came as a small get together for our birthdays, we came as a group of 3 (made the reservation with open table) and were seated in a back corner at a round table for two... (first red flag) eventually got moved to another table closer to the bar where three can have room to eat. 7:30pm. Didn’t get any service almost 20 mins in until the manager (we think it was) pointed us out to staff. (Second red flag)

drink orders and food orders were taken, finally got some water (had 3 different people ask us if we needed water and nobody brought us any)..... this was the third red flag. We got our drinks and waited its now an hour since we had been seated and had to flag one of the bartenders down (there were 4 servers hanging out by the hostess stand at this point), turns out our food order was never put in.... at this point i wish we could have got up and left, but it being pretty late on a week night we weren’t sure what was still open so we stayed and re-ordered the food.

The bartender who ended up taking care of us tried their best to make it right and discounted our meal, but whoever the original server was offered no apology and acted as if nothing had happened. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK after such a miserable experience.

Bad service but it was a holiday weekend.

Good food, but terrible management of restaurant. They were understaffed and messed up 3 of 5 items ordered. It made it terribly hard on the server who was visibly frustrated and trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Amazing Food!

The bar was backed up, but the server and manager were so apologetic and professional we didn’t mind.

Rice was not fully cooked on two attempts when we sent the first serving out. The waitress was very impatient with us when we had questions about the menu as it was our first time there. She forgot to bring out multiple dishes and told us that she would give us a discount because of her mistakes and never did. Over all, it was a big "MEH" to say the least.

Service was extremely slow , our server was not knowledgeable of the menu and could not offer any suggestions. Food was not very good. Also they ran out of champagne so we did not get to enjoy our “bottomless mimosas” as advertised.

This was the worst taco place I’ve ever eaten at especially for the price. They food was tasteless, guacamole taste like paste, the rice tasted nothing like authentic Mexican rice, and just overall trash. They couldn’t even make drinks right I constantly sent my drink back due to no flavor and completely watered down. The server was doing everything he could to accommodate us but for us to spend $160 on that garbage which we we’re told our bill was cut in half was not worth it at all. So that l meant our bill was over $200 hell We could have gone to chipotle and got better quality tacos for much cheaper and been happy.

The food was really great and the pricing was worth it. Taco meals came with 2 side options and they were large! The street corn was amazing! Also with co vid you never know what you’re going to get with the bill, but thankfully our waiter perfectly split our checks and remembered who shared what pitchers, which to me is the most important part of going out! A great meal can be ruined by the stressful math problems you have to do, after margaritas, with 5 people.

The happy hour is an incredible deal for the area. Chips & quac and margs are all great. Would recommend for happy hour.

Great dinner with my teenager

We read some decent reviews before making reservations during our trip to Chicago - I was craving queso (something apparently you cannot find easily in Chicago!). We got there and were seated right inside the opened door which was fine, however stinking that time of night from sewage. Then we waited for about 8 min before someone came and got a drink order from us - I’m all about prompt service! We got a drink and app and left for another spot for dinner. Maybe it was a bad night, but so many people standing around that could have taken a drink order and notta!

This is a great little spot to come and relax with friends and have good drinks and food

Loud! If you sit outside be prepared for dogs to be in your eating area as they have dog water bowl out. Service was blah and our waitress was not attentive. Mediocre tacos.

Fun, safe and sanitized environment, waiters suggestions were awesome, and the food was great!!! Very fast too!!
