La comida no fue lo esperado ....

Una experiencia normal con sabores de la región con un toque semi gurmet. Me recuerda un poco a la comida tradicional de nuestras abuelas, que hoy en día es difícil de encontrar.

Las albóndigas con pepian y el chuletón de cerdo con mole. Estaban buenísimos!

Ambientacion y el servicio de su personal exelente, la cocina no tan buena, pienso que ya es mas la fama (el hype) que en el pasado le fueron formando (amistades que lo han visitado en el pasado me lo recomendaron), en mi estancia en oaxaca probe mejores desayunos y con mejor proporcion entre calidad y precio, tenia reservacion en otra fecha para comida aqui mismo y opte por cancelar para irme mejor a Casa Oaxaca, no me decepcionaron.

Un lugar con una vista increíble a Santo Domingo. Un lugar muy relajado para cenar y disfrutar de unos drinks en pareja o amigos.

Simplemente excelente, la comida es deliciosa no importa lo que pidas, tiene una vista hermosa a la Iglesia de Sto. Domingo y las recomendaciones de los meseros así como su servicio es excelente. Es un lugar perfecto para ir con tu pareja y tomar unos tragos, 100% recomendadas las gorditas de tripa y los tragos hechos con mezcal.

Pitiona Cocina de Autor view, food, and ambiance was wonderful. There is a beautiful view of Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmàn on their rooftop.

We had a good time, despite one issue.

My issue lies with our server and perhaps cultural/translation misunderstanding. I primarily used Google Translate to communicate and order with our server.

My party ordered 3 cocktails, 3 appetizers, and 3 entrees. Our drinks and appetizers were served promptly. We did not 100% finish our appetizers and wanted to keep them for the duration of our meal. Our server did not mention to my guests or myself that the main courses would not be served without all appetizers being finished and removed from the table. This did not make logical sense on our end since we did not want to waste food, and we were confused how other tables that arrived after us were being served their meal before us. We waited at least 30 minutes in between appetizers and entrees before we were served. It did not make for the best experience.

Buena atención por parte del Staff de recepción y meseros. La calidad de la comida ha ido bajando un poco, comí sus tacos de lechón y no me parecieron lo mismo de antes.

Estuvo bien.

En la reserva pedí me dieran una mesa con vista hacia Santo Domingo, sin embargo me dieron una al lado de la barra. En fin, lo que rescató la noche fueron las tostadas de Ribeye ufff súper recomendadas.

Good is very good. Portions are really small, if you order 2 dishes and a desert you leave the Restaurant hungry.
The place is really beautiful and the view outstanding

This restaurant is a must when visiting Oaxaca City. The restaurant was very cautious during covid and did everything to make you comfortable and ensure they were as well during your visit. If you choose outdoor seats you get an amazing view of Templo Santo Domingo. In addition the food was amazing, def one of my favorite meals in Oaxaca city.

A wonderful restaurant with a unique rooftop terrace with stunning views of Santo Domingo. The food is varied, delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. Staff are young and very attentive.

Be aware, the menu at the time that we went was not accurate to the items my partner and I desired to be eat that night.

Excelente comida, excepto por el ceviche, no nos gustó mucho. Nos dieron la mesa más abandonada del lugar, casi al lado de la caja. Muy poca iluminación. Cuando pedimos un vaso con agua, nos llevaron una botella de esas ridículas de agua fancy. Que sigue siendo agua, pero cara por la botella.

Sin duda la mejor vista de Oaxaca y la comida súper rica

Ordered Cheese Soup, Fish of the Day, and a dessert. Overall food seemed just bland, without the bold flavors usual in Oaxaca.
The fish was correctly accompanied with a fork and fish knife; however, the fish was served in a deep soup bowl. When my waiter saw how awkward it was to eat, he quickly brought me a spoon. This particular dish should be served in a soup plate, or the bean broth and mole verde could be a little thicker and the meal served on a regular plate.
As a solo diner, I enjoy a glass of wine but was disappointed the wine list didn’t offer any choices for single glasses.

la atención desde que llegamos (unos minutos tarde, no cuenta con estacionamiento), es pésima, fría, si actitud de servicio y muy lenta; la mesa que nos dieron (dijeron que se había ocupado la nuestra), en el patio, luego nos pasaron a la terraza, pero se había ocupado habían dicho!!!, los precios altos y la comida no es nada del otro mundo, en general, no lo recomiendo
