   Led straight to the table we had booked. Service staff attentive and pleasant. Wait time for meals well within acceptable parameters and food was well prepared and hot on arrival and tasty. Drinks also good. Price very reasonable. Happy to return.

   I had the fishcakes to start and my husband had the hallumi fsticks and bothe were delicious. Our mains mine the chicken Tikka and my husband had the 8oz steak were both tasty and we loved our first visit here. Staff polite and friendly.

    A family gathering lunch after a race round on the beach with several dogs! The staff were welcoming and service was good, slight blip as i was sent fish instead of scampie but they changed it with no bother and appologised for the mistake! A good choice of all the pub classics made for a lovely meal!

    Good service by waitress. Food very basic and just ok Need to add vegetables to the plate rather than just carb and protein eg ham. Eating table needed a good scrub, was very sticky to the touch and food remains around edges. Don't think we would go again.

    The shrimp was clearly a frozen purchased item, batter heavy and very greasy, shrimp bits inside very small. The rest of the meal was adequate but uninspired.

    I came here recently with my husband. His meal was fine (he had gammon and eggs) but mine was very dissapointing. As I had the chicken and ham pie however it seemed to be mostly pastry and hardly any filling. So my experience here was quite dissapointing.

    Requested a table in the bar so we could take our dogs in. All of us were welcomed and catered for. Just what we were looking for after a long day on the road. All plates were empty at the end of the meal.

    Booked at The Plough while we were staying in Cresswell. Food was lovely and could tell it was home cooked. It was quick service also. Staff were really pleasant and accommodating.

    Very limited for choice and pricy at the standard offered. Booked in in about 40 seconds and a smile wouldn’t go amiss. The room was a VERY small single with a very bright emergency exit light shining in my face all night. Breakfast choices were not shown would have liked porridge but I found it on the way out. Stayed at better places for 2/3 of the price.

    Staff were friendly and inviting and the food came quickly. We had four meals one had to go back to be warmed up as it was only just warm and the mixed grill was over cooked and dry.

    It was awful. Don't eat there. The public bar is lovely and cosy, but the 'restaurant' is lacking. The food was awful - pie which should have been lovely, but because it was microwaved the pastry was soggy and tough. Nothing on the plate had been home cooked. Won't be going back for a meal.
