   The restaurant Pomo is in a lovely setting looking out at a pond surrounded by trees- the restaurant set up is gorgeous. Food was satisfactory, in no way stand- out . The simplicity of the menu attracted me but to be honest the mains were disappointing. The desserts were lovely though. Our waitress was chatty and helpful. However there was one huge disappointment that was unacceptable and unnecessary. We were booked for 5pm and were on time- the second people to enter the virtually empty restaurant. We asked for a window seat if possible- not possible- the 12/14 available window seats were reserved. So we asked for a centre bench seat - also ALL reserved .so what about a side facing bench seat? Same . We had a table for two by a pillar. We were finished by 715 - going to cinema- and I kid u not not ONE of those reserved seats was taken in that time . The manager COULD have said yes to a window seat but I need it back by whatever time - that’s acceptable. But we were very disappointed by this lack of flexibility and imagination. We also had two EXTREMELY disappointing cocktails prepared with zero effort . Presented in water classes with straws that were too short and NOT one bit of fruit despite all the gorgeous trays of cut fruits sitting out on the bar ???? The hotel and restaurant are a lovely environment, the menus has potential but overall it was a disappointing evening .

   Service was excellent. Calamari starter was delicious. Pizza, pasta, burger and hake for mains were also delicious. The Mediterranean salad was ordered as a side with no cheese requested. It came loaded with feta cheese. Cheesecake and lemon torte for dessert were very nice. The restaurant should invest in brandy glasses. Serving a Hennessey in a whisky glass is wrong! Overall a really enjoyable meal in a nicely decorated restaurant.

   Came here on Mother's Day and it was fantastic. Someone was playing the guitar, the food was lovely, and the staff were great. I will be coming back.
