Great Distillery to visit. Only 3 gins which was disappointing... And they didn't talk through the Gin Tasting rather just gave the Gins to you and walked away. Would have been nice to be talked through. $20 is rather expensive to try only a nip of 3 gins.....

Venue was extremely busy, ran out of gin tasting paddles so they arrived after our meal, and service staff were too eager to take them away before we had sufficient time to finish. Food was okay, more vegetarian options would be ideal, and more gluten free options. Staff tried hard.

The layout and design is magic. The food looks great but we tend for healthier options which weren’t on the menu.

have recommended you for all the aforementioned reasons. Good food venue loved the Gin paddle, Rose good as well. Ambience good. Please just get rid of the flies. That's the only whinge!!! Will come on the weekend next time to hear the music.

An amazing space, food was scrumptious , cocktails delicious, service terrific !!

I found the food lacking. Each dish was drowned in bottled sauce. The pork was smothered in sweet chilli dipping sauce and the rice was tough and tasted as though it was just reheated. The Parmi was lathered in Sriracha.

Drinks and atmosphere were great, but wouldn't eat there again.

Enjoyed the afternoon - would have added to the experience if there was a formal tasting time where it was explained about the gins and how to taste them.

Fell in love with this place! Cant wait to go back. Cheese platter and French rose was just delicious :-)

I booked for a table of 12 and we all had such an enjoyable experience. The venue is absolutely fantastic, along with the ambience, food & service. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately there was a horrible storm witch is not great for the type of venue that is Pomona Distillery, Staff on entry not that welcoming, food was average could be a lot better , floor staff need some guidance being a big venue, some tweaking on the little things could make this a outstanding restaurant and awesome venue.
Might sound a bit critical but wow the potential is absolutely huge. And i will continue to visit ,thanks to the staff that kept it together and for being real.

Check in Staff not very welcoming or friendly ..didn't feel particularly clean. Not rushing back.

The booking system did not go through to waiting staff that we wanted a standard table. This caused a lot of rearranging our seating. Surely that data should be passed on to the waiting staff.

2nd time here. Little disappointed with the food.
Gin tasting is great. Think we would just stick to the cheese board next time. It’s really good value.

As a Pomona local, I've visited a number of times. Every time, the atmosphere, the drinks and the surroundings are spot on, and are worth going back for on their own. Unfortunately, though, I have found the food to be a bit hit or miss. The meals my group of 6 had on Sunday at lunchtime was the best I've had. I personally had the flathead and loved the fish! My friends had the scallops, and snitty's. All very happy. Hoping the consistency continues because I love the place!

Fantastic place to go on a Sunday afternoon for a drink and listen to some music.
The menu is only small and we were a little challenged on what to order.
Overall a great atmosphere and one place not to be missed

Great atmosphere , surroundings are beautiful & really very pleasant to simply sit & enjoy the people around you whilst having a delicious cocktail or slow gin.
Food excellent & even thou always busy not a long wait. Local produce always appreciated & enjoyed.
Would like to see more large share plates on the menu as its not always a meal you are looking for.
My favourite drinks are the gin paddle trio.
Visited several times for birthdays, staff parties or a lazy Sunday arvo.

Lovely setting inside and quite a large space. Can get busy so would highly recommend booking first. Charcuterie board was delightful and quite large for 2 people. Try the gin tasting paddle!

Nice set up and setting food was good and enough of it service was good and could be a bit more helpful. It was quite noisy the night we went but it was ok.

I've been a few times and it's always been great! It ticks all the boxes for me!!!

First time, enjoyed share plates with friends (4 guests). Would love to be able to pay extra for 4 of each delicious morsels on a plate.

We love the atmosphere there, the new menu was not as appealing as last time I was there, there aren’t many gluten free options which is a shame. Love the gin though!

Fabulous! We had a lovely family lunch. Food and drinks were great. Swee(sp?) was super helpful- what a cheerful spark she is.

Nice place to go but make sure you get a table outside if it's a fine day. Our group was inside. It was a sunny day, there is no insulation under the iron roof (with no ceiling either; the rustic charm), and little ventilation even with overhead fans running. The large glass windows at the front of the restaurant could be opened but were bolted shut. Quite hot and uncomfortable.

More variety on the menu - maybe a healthy salad, maybe a banquet. A banquet would encourage longer visits

Food was amazing with the exception of the eggplant dish which had very little flavour. The buildings and bistro area were lovely. Staff were nice but wasn't impressed with the service when we were first seated. We were told the table booking timeframe was to be strictly adhered to as the table was booked straight after us, however no-one brought us any menus for ages or told us when/how to order (which wasted time unnecessarily). We had to actively seek someone out to get the menus and this information. However once the orders were placed the service was fine and most of the meals we ordered among our group were fabulous. Would go back again.

Fantastic venue for large groups! They were extremely busy which is great but staff looked like they were a bit under the pump. They DEFINITELY did a fabulous job considering how busy they were. Food was lovely (apart from the scallops) 3 scallops very small & tasteless with a basic soggy noodle side. Will be back for sure. Thankyou Pomona Distillery

I booked a low table and was given a high table on arrival in a very hot area - when asked if we could move we were refused in a particularly rude manner
At that time there was plenty of tables free

We were pleasantly surprised how great the venue was👍enough space btw tables and the food & drinks were excellent 🇦🇺👍 THANKYOU Pomona Distillery 🇦🇺👏👏

The friendly staff and tasty vegetarian food made the place better than expected. The level of Covid-19 control was a little concerning with close lining and people entering the building without checking-in.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, fresh and nicely presented. We are lucky to live nearby

Great place to meet up with family and friends or simply show off our region to a new visitor. Pomona Distillery was a great new find at the end of our COVID restrictions and have enjoyed showing off this place to family and friends ever since.
