The Menu was just your average pub food but value for money. I ordered the fish burger with chips, have to say the chips were the best I have ever had, so crunchy and moorish.

Beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Went hoping for the Sunday roast & most importantly the Yorkshire pudding!
Had a steak, chips Sunday roasts are not just in winter...
Had a great margarita!

Good spot, very good beers on tap. Tried to ring and move booking back 30 mins. but no one answered the phone. We will go back.

Good/ decent local pub - but no happy hour wine, beer etc...compared with others nearby. And no specials menu

Food & service was very good, reasonably priced. We sat outside and enjoyed the whole atmosphere of a lovely lunch.

Overall was great. Just though I had the rooftop reserved instead of the bar but still had a great night.

Tasty food well cooked. Small menu at the moment but the Sunday roast looked pretty good and very popular.

We placed a single order for all our drinks and meals... a very time consuming exercise.. only to find at the payment stage that it was not working.. so the staff had to manually place the order!

Service was perfect with 9 out of 10 employees. Much better odds than most businesses! Wonderful pub!! The owner takes such pride. Highly recommend you all visit the PP Hotel!! I go there regularly. By far my fav of all pubs in the area.

Had a booking for two and needed to add on an extra six last minute.
The host was very proactive in accommodating this for us although they were very busy. This was excellent service on his behalf and much appreciated. Looking forward to coming back

No social distancing ,poor .slow service.had to ask many times for drinks

One of my favourite local hotels in the Cross. Staff are great and food is classic pub style.

The service was absolutely shocking. I get they’re transitioning back into business post covid, but they claimed they had no steamed veg while we watched multiple tables be served it, they got drinks wrong, they insisted on table service while they all loitered behind the bar - deplorable

This waitress’ hanging out in the VIP area who was super rude and nasty. She was swearing and super unprofessional. Waving feather dusters in our faces.

Sam, the security on the other hand, was bloody lovely.

Delicious well priced pub food. Great wait staff. Excellent Jazz show upstairs. Kate Wadey has the most Devine singing voice. Band excellent.

Great food, although every single staff member were just grumpy. All of them.

Had an early dinner before a show, great value on a Thursday evening with two for one meals and happy hour. We'll be back

Went for the $12 steak night, food was lovely, hotel was great, the staff weren’t overly friendly, in particular the bartender, no engagement or smile, let the place down

It was State of Origin 3 and we requested a table in front of the screen and we got the best table! They also were very accommodating allowing us to bring our 4 year old. Excellent service, food and experience. Will definitely return!

Food is fab, check out the special board so a good price also. It is a popular pub and you can see why, I recommend booking a table.

Tranny bingo was a great experience. Mix crowd. Friendly. Give it a go if you want a fun night with a group of friends.

Food has improved significantly since I was last there - much better than previous managers. Menu is not overly complicated, offering good pub basics (schnitzel etc) with some more interesting smokehouse meats and BBQ. Staff are very friendly, booking is easy and reliable and the Thursday night Gender Bender Bingo is great fun :)

Had advertised pulp fiction was playing and travelled down to watch that, only for poor planning to occur and be told “we cannot find pulp fiction” and thus asked if top gun is alright. Will not come here again, one simple objective of playing a certain movie to a crowd and that was deemed too hard.

Was disappointed this time. We were a party of 6. Two of us had steak which was perfectly ok, two had schnitzel and they found them inedible and like cardboard. Food sizes used to be great, salads great. Now they're meager and lackluster. Think we will just come for drinks next time and the tranny bingo

I go every Thursday for tranny bingo and it's an amazing feeling to feel so comfortable in a straight bar mix of gay and straight and never seems to be any trouble and have to give a big shout out to the barman named Sam he is a superstar always had a smile and great service Sam gets five stars from me

Love traveling from the north shore for tranny bingo, always hilarious. The lack of good bar staff the other night really let you down. Place was packed but waiting 20 minutes at the bar to be served is too much.. I didn't eat this time, wasn't going back to wait at the bar again.. but usually service is great, perhaps it was just an off night?

Tranny Bingo is entertaining, everything else fairly standard. Food came out quickly. Bar service was terrible.
