   This was our first visit after an Aronoff event. Service by Brian was outstanding. The food was prepared as ordered -- not over or under cooked. The shareable mussels were excellent being large, plentiful and the chorizo sauce uniquely good. We will be back!

   I moved from Cincinnati and not been able to sample the fine cuisine Prime serves it's customers for over three years. I visited Cincinnati last week and was pleased to find Prime had survived Covid and are still offering to their patrons a wide and varied menu of fine dining options at a price that gives great value for the dollar spent. Our dinner last Friday evening mirrored our past experiences. Pleasant greeting from the hostess on station who remembered me and my companion from previous visits. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, contentious service, that delivered a fine dining experince that in unrivaled in Cincinnati. The question below is would I recommend Prime to a friend. I have done so in the past and will do so again.

   Most of our food was delicious, the steaks were not cooked quite to temperature and did not match up to the quality we expected. The rest of the food was wonderful. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere could use an upgrade.

    Prime never disappoints. I made reservations for a team member’s birthday lunch and Prime printed special menus with a birthday greeting for the guest and lunch attendees. It made the lunch very special. Where can you go in downtown Cincinnati and get a delicious lunch with that level of customer care for really reasonable prices?     I frequent this establishment often and this was my only bad experience. The food was not good like usual, the food was not hot, it took more than an hour for the food to even come, the waitress would disappear for 25 minutes, the table was uneven. The restaurant was not even crowded. The manager did try to improve the situation but the damage was already done. I was disappointed.

    We were just there on Sunday for Mother’s Day We had Steak and scallops, absolutely amazing. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, grilled perfectly along with the scallops, they were perfect. Ask for Bryan, great server.

    The food and the service were great, however it took over a hour to get our entrees. We ended up having to skip the concert that we planned to see across the street due to this. The concert started at 8 and it was nearly 8:45 when we paid. We made our reservation with what should be enough time but that didn’t happen.

    We chose Prime because of the Pre Theatre 2 course dinner they are offering. We ordered a bottle of La Storia, Calamari (Good), Mixed Greens Salad with Strawberries (excellent), my date ordered Sea Bass (very bland), I ordered Filet Mignon (MR), it came out MW and did not have the sides with the dish, which are included. Sebastian (GM) took the steak back and brought me a new one, with the sides. It was RARE, full of marble, the roasted broccolini was bland, and I still cannot figure out what the potato was, but it too was inedible. Sebastian was very kind and took the steak dinner off our check. I cannot fault the service one bit, Brian and John were on top of everything. As for the kitchen, very disappointing.

    The filet was literally melt in your mouth perfect! Our server suggested a wonderful wine and was the sweetest, most genuine man. Every time I eat here the food is SO amazing and the people who work there are friendly and interesting and engaging. Love it here!

    My friends and I were visiting from out of town and arrived 45 mins earlier than expected for our reservation. We were informed that even though we were early that our table still wouldn’t be ready until our reservation time despite them having several open tables so we were suggested to sit at the bar which we did we ordered the pineapple, MargToni and the calamari, crab dip. I f want to shout out Cole at the bar he was phenomenal. He was really personable and gave us good service. when he took our order. He suggested calamari the sauce being on the side so we order them that way. however, when I calamari arrived, the sauces were drizzled over the top despite the request. myself, and my friend ordered the filet mignon both medium however, I added the enhancement of the horseradish and blue cheese, on mine but when our food came out, my friend, and I both received the same steak with the blue cheese and horseradish, enhancement. when we made mention to this to our server, he looked very confused about it, and begrudgingly corrected the order. My other friend ordered the the steak salad, which had some potatoes in it that were very cold, and steak over cooked. the lobster mac & cheese was watery and lacked flavor didn’t taste like cheese at all and my side of cream spinach was very bland. then when we may paid for our checks, my one friend used cash and didn’t get enough change back. We tried to inform our server however, she responded that she doesn’t speak English.and that’s why she has another server helping her and she didn’t know what we were talking about. We try to address it with the other server, but he was taking too long and we had to leave because we had a show to catch.

    Our family of four came to Prime for our son's UC graduation. Tristan (server) was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our younger son has food allergies and he ensured us on what he could have as well as made sure the other staff knew. The food was very good and well prepared. We started with octopus and went straight for the steaks. The wife had the salmon which she enjoyed the mix of flavors. The men were meat eaters so Delmonico for me, the Aged strip for the graduating boy, and filet for the allergy kid. We had sides of the Brussel sprouts and potato/pork belly. Dessert of the brownie and keylime. As stated, food delicious, staff helpful and worth a place to celebrate.
