Proabition sits in the center of the fashion hub L.A Fashion District. We feature a progressive American/California cuisine. We offer a year round alfresco dining experience with an aesthetic indoor outdoor enclosed patio. Our beverage program offers a robust collection of spirits and truly artisanal products notably Whiskey, Mezcal and Tequila. Weekend dinner experiences feature live music, fire dancers, our Speakeasy the "Monocole" and culinary and beverage experiences.

Please note that we take every request under consideration, however, we can't guarantee that all requests will always be met.

We offer valet parking Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm - 2 am and Sundays from 11 am - 6 pm.
Parking structure is available across our venue.

First time visit on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the drinks were on point. Definitely recommend! It’s a fun place and I love the Alice in Wonderland theme. We also went down to the speakeasy downstairs which was fun but wayyy too hot. They need to fix their AC system down that. Other than that 10/10.

OUR SERVER WAS AMAZING! Making jokes and made us feel super welcomed. The food was sooooo good and I already recommended it to 10 people because finding nice spots like this is hard!

We went for an early dinner. Our waitress was absolutely fabulous and on point! Our glass of water was never left empty. Truffle fries were delicious.. steak was cooked to perfection! Impossible Burger Bolognese once again .. absolutely delicious

I ordered the chicken dish. It was super dry with almost zero flavor for $30. But the atmosphere of this place is very nice paired with live music. A hidden gem. Especially if they can do something about that chicken.

Proabition is definitely a restaurant to go to to to live the LA experience. The menu is creative and tasty. The ambience is welcoming, relaxing and fun! The service and staff is outstanding and friendly! It’s located in the Toy District near Little Tokyo and they have valet parking or you can use the public parking lot that’s right there! You can also find street parking.

Was lovely! The birthday celebration thing was $50 but fun with sparklers and a sign and singing. It’s very loud but I didn’t mind, just depends on the vibe you’re going for. Ambiance was trendy and fun. Food was just okay. Drinks were good and had fun themes

Food was super yummy! Nice little spot! Only thing was our server didn’t show us a receipt until after we paid and we had paid for the table next to us and we had to wait an extra 20 min trying to get his attention to fix the error. They will email you a receipt no paper

Met with friends at Proabition DTLA on Sunday for their brunch; food was delicious and ambiance was great however I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. One guest received his food at least 10 minutes prior to our party being served; 2. The other 5 guests received their food within 3 to 4 minutes apart which I find unusual if you are trying to receive a 5 star rating for service; and, 3. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak even though we were sitting across from each other at the same table...I informed our server but the DJ wasn't too receptive...this alone will not have us returning to Proabition anytime soon.

Everything was great from the ambience to the drinks and food. Our waiters service was great. only think I didn’t like was that it was so dark we couldn’t even see our food. Other than that I give it a 9.5 /10

Easy to reserve for big parties but charge us for birthday items when we asked prior if they were going to be charged as our friends/family would have just ordered other items of their choice. Music was too loud for a dinner, felt like I was yelling the whole time. Food was good, nothing too special and not much variety.

It’s like an interesting night club but with dining. Service was really great but the music was a bit much at 6pm. And the Brussels spouts were great but honestly the pork belly Mac was vey bland.

It was empty on a Sunday we were 4 girls trying to have fun and one of the security guys at the door came and sush us a few minutes after we got there not nice when they promote this place to be a fun environment

We already went out in March and the food was excellent, the treatment was excellent, but this time the food was not well cooked, the drinks were very simple with very little liquor and the waiter did not seem very friendly to us. We even only ate the appetizers because we thought the food would not be good. The waiter didn't ask us if we were going to eat anything else apart from the appetizers and his face was annoyed when telling him that they were not well cooked.

We had a great time dining at Proabition, I order the Mystic Madness drink which is was amazing the mezcal smoky flavor was on point. For appetizers we order fried shrimp and Salmon for entree. Everything was delicious.

I loved the service, I also loved the environment and the music from brunch was emasculate. It brings me back to when I was growing up in the early 2000’s with the throwback music! The bottomless mimosas with different flavors is amazing. I loved the French toast and I don’t like tees leches so it was amazing. I recommend sharing it. I also got quesobirria and the Brussels sprouts were amazing
