   Unbelievable ambience and really great service from the servers to the wait staff. Really unpredictable menu with outstanding flavors and new takes on dishes that are staples. Definitely worth the visit. We will return multiple times in th the future for sure.

   My family and I have been to Proxi several times and the food is always wonderful. They mix interesting ingredients together that work well. We particularly enjoyed the elotes, scallops, foie gras, and lamb chops. The green curry ice cream dessert is a no miss. Our server was very efficient. She seemed to always be there when we needed her. We will be back.

   Food and cocktails were pretty good. Dishes were super small but the price certainly didn't reflect that. I was still hungry afterwards. Will I go again? Probably not.

    Serving food in the trendy shared plates style, everything we had was delicious. Scallops and wagyu beef dishes were my favorite. Worth a visit!

    Have not been to Proxi since the beginning of the pandemic. It has lost nothing. The small plates are inventive and delicious. The cocktails are very engaging. The service is spectacular. We give Andrew Zimmerman five stars

    The food was average. The service was terrible - our waiter came after 15 min of us sitting and we asked for a couple minutes to review the drink menu, he never came back. We had to flag down a different server. Drinks took 20+ min to arrive, the food took so long we had to ask if our next plates were even coming. They did comp 3 of our drinks because they said they were aware of the wait times, which was nice and unexpected. Pretty disappointing experience overall.

    Very uncomfortable high top dining. You have a choice of a stool with no back or a mushy banquet seat. We were both uncomfortable and happy to leave what was otherwise a good meal.

    Our waiter was very helpful with deciding which plates from the tasting menu we wanted. They also made my birthday extra special with champagne and dessert. The food was so good and we left very full.

    I had heard a lot of good things about Proxi and was excited to see they had reservations available for Valentines Day with preset menu selections. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, and overall received friendly professional service from the staff. We also both really liked the music and overall vibe of the space inside. The food though, we found the food very confusing, and not very appetizing. All dishes were plated well, but something about the mixture of flavors, various temperatures, and combination textures didn't work for us. I don't have the menu in front of me to explain in detail, but most of the dishes where sort of hot and cold in an odd manor. Our first dish was a few hot fried tater tots covered in cold corn puff things that reminded me of Kix cereal with red onions sprinkled over the dish. To me, the flavors didn't work well. We found that most of the remaining dishes had similar confusing combinations. The main dishes were no exception my wife's king salmon came with rice, the tasted like it had been burnt, and my duck was very dry with flavorless turnips or water chestnuts not really sure. The desert for me was the hardest thing to stomach. A chocolate cake with Mandarin Sorbet covered in pureed sesame seeds. There was almost no Sorbet and my first bit was just a massive hit of salty sesame oil puree. All I can say is yuck. I thought about sending some of the things back, but as I mentioned I found the flavors confusing, and didn't see how getting a new dish of the same thing would make it better. My wife and I have been to many high-end restaurants over the years and both agree this is our least favorite food of anywhere we have ever eaten. However I see many happy reviews so don't let our experience stop you from coming, but I don't think we will be back anytime soon.

    We went for Valentine's Day after making reservations months in advance. I was extremely excited, as I am pregnant with HG, and found some foods I could eat on the menu. When we got there, we were five minutes early to check-in. We did not get sat for another 25 mins., so 20 min. over our reservation time. If anyone knows HG you do not want to mess too much with food time, and we were getting there. Then, I found out they were ONLY doing a special tasting menu for Valentine's Day. The tasting menu barely had anything I could eat. I was about to get up and leave, but I was already behind my eating schedule and knew other restaurants would be fully booked for the special day. We decided to tough it out, and I would eat what I could. Courses came out, and by the time we were about to be presented with our main dishes, we mentioned to our waiter that we had never got the first course. He apologized (nothing genuine) and brought it out to us. However, at that point, our main course arrived so we did not eat much of the first course. The check came, and $250 later, I think I only ate one tiny slice of duck, some of the non-chocolate dessert, a little of the lamb, but it was so chewy I spit it out, and the pasta, which was the only dish I would recommend. Very displeased and sad this was our last Valentine's experience without kids. If I could do it over, I would have walked out and grabbed To Go from somewhere else.

    Enjoyable experience and service, very good food, love the food overall. Strange that red chili sauce is used an over abundance in many dishes. Not a fan of paying the extra 3% service charge for staff benefits at restaurants that are extremely successful.

    In general, service was quite good but it was unusually slow between some courses. We were in no hurry, but dinner took 30 minutes longer than it should have, even eating at a leisurely pace. However....the food was amazing! Creative and delicious.

    This is my second time at Proxi and it did not disappoint. We had the restaurant week menu and it was amazing. The King Salmon was one of the best I’ve had and everything else was fantastic. Also had great gluten free options for one of our guests.

    Restaurant week menu - excellent food and experience - we've always enjoyed Proxi. But I have issues with how they snuck in significantly more charges than the $59 per person advertisement through additional charges for certain items on the list ($5 for the first course, $10 for the second course, and a whopping $20 for an item on the third course). So we are actually looking at a possible $94 menu - which is a significant jump up. I'd advise against this kind of surreptitious charges - as it left us paying significantly more than we had originally planned ($160 per person - restaurant week is supposed to be a deal - NOT a steal!). In addition, even for a party of 4 - they added in 20% tip (really - we should be able to decide how much we tip) and a 3% additional service charge.

    Service was very slow. Took 2 hrs for a 4 course meal, essentially every 30 min we would get a course. Waiter never asked if we wanted more drinks and maybe checked in 2 times over the course of 2-hrs. We had to ask a different waiter for our check.
