Psaraki, meaning “little fish” in Greek, is the creation of longtime hospitality veteran James Paloumbis.

The restaurant evokes the charm of seaside tavernas found along the shores of Greece. It offers spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan skyline, and the Williamsburg Bridge, juxtaposing the tranquility of its serene ambiance with the vibrant energy of nearby Manhattan. Psaraki is a place to unwind, enjoy a perfect cocktail, and savor traditional homemade Greek dishes meant for sharing while escaping NYC's hustle and bustle.

Psaraki’s menu is inspired by James’ culinary philosophy, which he terms “homemade”, where each dish is a testament to the authenticity and connection of family recipes, traditionally prepared and presented as if one was a visitor in James’s seaside home. Guests can enjoy a sampling of classic Greek dishes and a selection of Greek island favorites.

I don’t get the hype at all. The service was extremely slow and 4 of us paid $500 in total for pita, some dips/appetizers and really small unseasoned fish. Not worth it, at all. I would definitely not get the shared table dish - waste of money. Fish isn’t great and super fishy. The dessert is horrid - it’s basically a scoop of Greek yogurt with cherries on top. So disappointed, was really excited to try this place.

We loved PSARAKI. It's right on the water with a gorgeous view of the city. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside. Our waiter was fantastic. Knowledgable of the menu, friendly, attentive, but not too attentive, which I think is perfect. Our food was yummy! We started with the greek spreads which were great. I wasn't a fan of one of the spreads, the Greek caviar mousse, but I don't like caviar. So that's on me. The other three spreads were delicious. We ate family style and ordered Greek Meat Balls, the Roasted Chicken, and greek salad. There were 4 of us and still we brought home food. The portions were large and everything was flavorable. I would absolutely recommend Psaraki!

Phenomenal everything! Ambiance... food ... service ... vibe... location.... so quaint... they should upgrade the toilets though... and a little pricey.... but honestly it is sn AMAZING overall experience.... LOVED IT! Perfect date night but could also be good friend or group meet up.

While I really appreciated that there are so many gluten free options and everything is clearly labeled, the food lacked seasoning and it was extremely expensive. It was lovely to sit outside by the water.
