Public School - Las Vegas
Delicious food with great service ♥️♥️♥️
My daughter and my husband wanted to watch the US open and then attend the Aviators game! It was perfect for both and the service was outstanding!
Everything was great to include our waitress Marilyn. I’ve had her now on two separate occasions and she was a sweetheart both times.
It was good
I went with my grandson and his fiance to check out the venue for their October wedding rehearsal party. We were very pleased! Happy, cordial and efficient waitstaff, delicious food, and cool libations. Nice upper balcony view and fun games for those so inclined. The setting in Summerlin is romantic and classy. Parking is great and the wedding party's shuttle drop off point is conveniently close; right at the valet parking and Lyft pickup/drop spot. I will be coming back for not only this event but for many other happy hours...
The service was excellent both times we dined at Public School - even from the servers who were not covering our table. 'Found their signature cauliflower recipe to be a little inconsistent, both otherwise all other dishes were very enjoyable.
We waited for 20 minutes and no server approached our table. I had to go to the hostess stand to let them know. The server we had was great, she just had too many tables. We also ordered a flat bread pizza which we did not receive.
Food was very bland and dissapointing. The only thing that tasted good was the house beer.
The Caesar salad with pan grilled salmon was delicious!
Love the atmosphere inside and out. The food was very good and people are very accomadating
Great casual place to meet up with friends or a fun date night during Recess (their version of Happy Hour). The staff is attentive, fun and friendly! Good cocktails and food.
Easy reservation process. Seated immediately. Waiter was AMAZING! He was very attentive and prompt. The food was delicious. Those bacon and cheddar tots are a party for your palate! The music is too loud to talk to your friends though. Happy hour prices on food and drinks are fabulous!

Good drink selection, outdoor seating is great, food was excellent.
Cast iron chicken was delicious. Nice selection of draft beers. Great location in Downtown Summerlin near Las Vegas Ballpark.
We have been to Public School 702 in the past and had a pleasant experience. Today (Fathers Day) we made a reservation and were seated as we walked in. We asked to sit on the patio in a shaded area and were seated at a table that was half shaded, and when it’s 90+ degrees it wasn’t pleasant so we asked to move. The waitress moved us to a shaded area on the patio which was better, but we were also seated next to a compressor for the mister system which sounded like a broken generator. So the atmosphere was not the greatest.
The food was good but nothing special, kids meals were $9 a piece. The waitress was nice and prompt so no complaints there. For a $60 meal I would expect a slightly better dining experience than what we had.
Cute concept. Decor is in line with public school. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Shelby took very good care of us. Will go again.
I appreciate the attention to my celiac disease and gluten free needs. Thanks!
Great place! Some dishes were very bland while some were full of flavor. Choose wisely!
The service was outstanding, the server was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had.
Fun place with great food.
We tried the crispy buffalo cauliflower appetizer. It was a generous portion, enough to share with 3 people. I highly recommend the Ruben, however, I had it made with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut.
Our server was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner.
I really loved the place and will return.
Terrible service and mediocre food. Will not return.
Horrible service. Server came twice before meal was brought out. Both time we ordered drinks had to wait twenty minutes. Finally flagged down a manager for second round and complained to him. We cancelled our drinks and that was it. No apology. Not a thing. Saw our server five times over one hour. Tipped her ten percent and felt ripped off still.
Food was great, and servers were attentive.
Great place to eat and have some drinks. We went before The Aviators game and the place was packed and hopping. The service was great, food came out quick and never had to wait on drinks.
The service was excellent. The food was good and tasty. A couple things that really detract from going there is the volume of noise. It is so loud there, that you have to yell to talk to anyone next to you. On this night, there was a party of younger folks next to us that were causing quite a commotion. One of them was either so inebriated on something that he fell out of his chair, laid on the floor, and couldn’t or wouldn’t get up. There was also the loud sounds of plates and silverware crashing together coming from their table. It was loud, rude, and obnoxious.
We went there for brunch on Easter. I had no issues with any of the staff. They were all very friendly. However the food was horrible. I didn’t see anything that looked appealing so I went with pancakes. Pretty hard to mess those up. The other three at my table were all disappointed. One had the Chilaquillies and two had the deans list. After listening to them complaining about how awful it was I was pretty pleased I went with the pancakes. To me who ever decides what to put on the menu out smarted themselves. Fancy and different doesn’t always make a good meal.
Nice venue. We had great service. Basic pub food, nothing special.
Good food, service and moderate prices.
The atmosphere was very nostalgic and fun! The food was overall very good. Our fish and chips were heavy on the batter and wasn’t cooked all the way through. The chicken sandwich and peanut coleslaw were delicious though!
No complaints. Everything was on point this visit. Sat out in the patio since it was a nice evening. First time sitting at table verse booth outside there.
Loved the atmosphere and the food. Service is lacking.
Love it. I will keep coming back. Service is great and beverage options are excellent.
Public School had a great environment and atmosphere for fun and quality dining. The food was delicious even though I decided to go crazy and order the PBJ burger. Overall, I highly recommended it and the service was great.
I have eaten here many times. Maybe 3 to 4 times in the last six weeks. This was by far my worst visit. I asked for my appetizer separately from my untrained everything was brought at the same time so my entrée was cold by the time I got to it. I asked for the mustard on the side but was given the catchup on the side in the mustard was on my sandwich. They were out of bacon for my burger and couldn’t make a blt for my daughter. We sat outside, I have always loved this outdoor seating area. Everything looks very worn and dirty from the winter. My oldest daughter complained that the bench seat was dirty on the cushions. Would be nice to see some TLC given to this area. The issue with our food was addressed by management which was greatly appreciated.
4/8/19 the general manger contacted me after this review and apologized and corrected our dining experience. This was appreciated!!!!!
Friend from out of town- really enjoyed it.
Love the ‘Recess’ happy hour ! Best sliders ever!!!
Food was okay. Didn’t get a lot for the price - hard to get refills , service was slow. Not a lot of choices for dietary restrictions
Fabulous! This is a fun and unique restaurant.
Great food and beautiful patio!
