R. Thomas Deluxe Grill boasts that it’s the “solution to eating healthy when you’re eating out.” Located in the Brookwood neighborhood of Atlanta right on Peachtree Street, R. Thomas’ Deluxe Grill is a one-of-kind eatery that has been producing unique burgers with a California flair since 1985.

While the restaurant has a number of vegan and vegetarian options, there is also plenty of meat to be had at R. Thomas’ Deluxe Grill and it’s all free range. You can stop in for quesadillas, omelets, freshly-squeezed juices, smoothies and all kinds of other amazing, healthy made-to-order items from the menu.

Had a 5:30 reservation. Showed up at 5:20 and they hadn’t even had our table set up. One other table in the entire restaurant. Took 45 minutes for the server to show up (he was completely out of it) and get our drink orders. Went ahead and placed food orders bc we don’t know when our server would wander back by. Drinks were wrong, food was wrong and absolutely hideous. This was my birthday dinner and I was absolutely mortified that I brought a group of friends here to celebrate. One of the worst dining experiences to date. I spent a lot of time here in the early 2000’s but haven’t been in quite some time. Definitely not the great service and food it once was.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience, especially on your birthday. I understand how disappointing this must have been, and it’s definitely not how we want our guests to feel. I apologize for the wait, the mix-up with your orders, and the overall poor experience. I’m personally looking into what happened to make sure it doesn't happen again. I don’t like cold air directly blowing on me but the food was good and the service was good as well. The bald head slim older gentleman whose name I can’t recall was awesome.

This place had an eclectic type of energy. Lively crowds with a variety of music playing. The food was pretty good. I ordered the portobello linguine pasta and my friend ordered fish tacos. We enjoyed it. They did seem to be understaffed though. There was only one waiter which caused slower than expected service. Took a while for them to take our order and they didn’t come around too often. Luckily, we weren’t in a hurry. I’d like to go back and try the breakfast.

Been to R Thomas many times over the last 25 years… very consistent service and friendly staff. Great food.
