It was fine. Food was fine. Server was not very knowledgeable or interested in us but it’s a pretty spot.
We've been here several times and we will keep going back, often for special occasions. The food is excellent, the freshly made pasta is divine and the cocktails are delicious. We also love the space, it's beautiful and quiet, really a lovely place on all accounts.
The food was great! The portions are very small. The waiter was not very helpful with wine selection and not friendly or pleasant. He was professional but didn’t bring much personality or pleasantries to the table. It was a good dining experience but a little tweaking and it could have been an excellent dining experience.
Birthday dinner for longtime friends. Staff made us feel like royalty.
My daughters birthday. My husband and I come here almost weekly. Whether we sit at the bar and have a drink and meal or table alone or with friends. We love the atmosphere, service, food. We've been coming here since they opened. Laura, the owner is here just about every night. Making herself present. Perfect restaurant for any occasion.
Went to Radici pre show at nearby Comedy Club; had reservations, seated immediately; server recognized the music was interfering with conversation and had it turned down; service was attentive; shared a salad, served with bread; both the pomodoro and canneloni were delicious! Great wine selection but limited beer choices. Highly recommend Radici! Will be back!
Food was absolutely delicious and service was great
Best Italian food! Authentic menu and a cool bar! Location is walking distance from the beach.
Great discovery and quality and price ratio top quality
Genuine Italian feel and taste
Excellent food, drinks were slow to arrive,?service was friendly and encouraging
Food, drinks and dessert were good. Only issue was with service. There were plenty of empty tables but was not seated when we arrived minutes earlier than our reservation. The waiter seemed to be handling more tables than could handle, took long to take our order and did not tell us about the specials. Only reason we found out about specials was because we heard from another waiter, who was helping others. Maybe just got there on a day they were short handed but overall Ok.
I met some clients here for dinner and it was FANTASTIC. Will definitely be coming back!
Great Italian restaurant, tucked away in Hermosa Beach.
Favorite restaurant in the South Bay!
The location was great. The hostess seemed bit overwhelmed as she took 15 min to seat us an a line was forming of others that had reservations. The Seabass was bland as it was in a pool of liquid an was more like a fish soup. The appetizers were the best part of the meal the Squid and the Calamari were both great. Overall experience was a C+ so it's certainly a been there done that place.
Fantastic linguine and clams, Chilean Sea Bass. My homemade gnocchi were a little too sweet and smooth for my tastes but the lamb ragout on them was delish. The arugula and pear salad was great.
Best of all was the tiramisu, best we ever had including the transplanted New Yorkers!
Reliably good neighborhood Italian restaurant--elegant yet casual.
This place is a little gem in hermosa, nice place to go with friends for a good meal, and you can hear each other . Big ++
Service never seemed to get in a groove. Good service to me is when you don’t notice anything, this was a continuous series of starts and stops.
Very attentive staff, amazing food and ambiance!!
I have dined here a few times. My friends like it, I have not been impressed. I decided to give it another try. Ambiance is the only good thing. Paced drink order, server bolted before we could even finish our comments. Ordered the arugula salad. Very expensive for a cup of arugula with 3 very thin pear slices and some cheese crumbles. Waited over an hour for the chicken picatta. Server kept apologizing for our wait. Gave us a free appetizer. I try to eat low carb, sugar items. Fried calamari. Kind of chewy. When our entrees we’re finally delivered, the chicken was cold and bland with one stalk of broccoli and 2 slices of potato. Again, the original description said chicken and vegetables, no starch! One small stalk of broccoli didn’t do it for me. Pasta dishes were hot. Manager did apologize. Server apologized. Didn’t ask, but, sent 2 desserts out. Nice, but I don’t eat desserts. 145$ for 2 with tip! Won’t be back!
Fabulous food and ambience. Excellent service and strict attention to detail. GO
Radici is our go-to restaurant when I don't want to cook. The food is consistently excellent, northern italian fare and the atmosphere is California casual. Weekends tend to be a bit crazy and loud, but still possible to have a conversation without difficulty.
Great service, food, and hospitality.
One of our local favorites!
Great food, great service and Great staff.
The food was excellent.
The eggplant appetizer was fantastic, would make a nice meal.
Brought one bottle of wine. The corkage fee was removed with the purchase of a bottle from their wine list. A nice touch!!
What a hidden gem!!!! I had the most amazing meal, I wish I had leftovers, but alas, the food was so delicious I ate it all:)
I will be back for SURE!!!!
We love Radici. Ambience is great. Nice background music.
And the noise level is just right for a nice glass of wine, great pasta and good conversation.
We lived in Italy and found that Radici transported us back to one of our favorite restaurants there. The selections were excellent. We ordered family style and enjoyed everything!
Always consistently delicious!
I wanted to love this place, walking up to it it reminds me of some tucked away restaurant you’d find in Aspen. When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of mop water. Sure I’m glad the floor is clean, but at a restaurant I want to smell great food or nothing so I can focus on the experience. We were seated in the main dining area which was absolutely perfect and it wasn’t too loud. This was perfect! The servers were ok, they did their job. The food was disappointing: the tomatoes served with the burrata were old and the texture was not that of a great tomato, and the texture of the pasta served with the bolognese was excellent but the bolognese was too young and didn’t have that low&slow taste that makes bolognese a treat. And the wine by the glass was something I recognized and looked forward to, but what was served tasted sour and spoiled. I don’t think I’ll return.
Not a good date spot. Way too loud from rowdy drunk group - had to move to bar.
Perfect in every way. Can’t wait to go back.
Good experience and would definitely recommend if you are seeking Italian food around the Redondo area. Fresh, handmade pasta and a great modern vibe.
Excellent handmade pasta and the lamb was a highlight of the meal! Great accommodating service. The only critique I have for this restaurant is how dark the lighting is and the music was a little too loud. We had a great time here!
While the Mediterranean salad was good and was a fair portion, the ravioli entree was incredibly small, overpriced and nothing to write home about. The bread was mediocre. But the most surprising was the coffee. It was not a bottomless cup and the charge was $6 per cup without any indication that this was the case. The waiter and manager explained it was espresso, even though we hadn't ordered espresso. We ordered plain ole coffee. Fortunately, she took the second cup off the bill and reduced the first one from $6 to $4. But seriously, this place won't last at those prices and portions.
I have been to Radici at least 4 times prior to this visit and felt this was a special place. So, I invited friends there to dine with us. I was highly disappointed. The place was busy (Saturday night) and our server did not come to take our order for at least 15 minutes. During that time we did get water but nothing else. the server came and took our drink order and immediately dashed away before we could get our appetizer order in. Our appetizers came at least 10-15 minutes apart so that some of us finished one before the other could even get started. Then we after ordering main course, it took at least 45 minutes (we had to put more money in the metered parking) to get our food. By this time we had been there 1 1/2 hours. When it came, it was lukewarm and therefore not enjoyable. It then took a long time to even get someone to come over to get the check. We sent one dish back because it was that bad, and then the manager came and apologized, she finally got our check for us. I was sad because my previous experience was so positive. It is very expensive and not worth the treatment we got.
Great suggestions by our waiter. Very hospitable service through and through
Very good food and excellent service. Great staff.
