Louis was such a great waiter, very friendly and provided great service. Overall wonderful experience, the ambience was so fun, highly recommend!

Greenhouses should have heat, waiter was very nice.

Horrible service. Was there for my friend’s 21st and waiter did not care or take the birthday girl’s allergy seriously after we reminded him many times she had celiac disease. Manager spoke to us and also couldn’t care less and an automatic 20% tip was added when that was the worst service we all had ever received. Ended up being $400+ and we were all still hungry after and my friend got sick from the food since they did not make sure it was gluten free. Recommend going anywhere else

Cozy outdoor rooftop with option of pods (by reservation) or fire pits. Nice city views. Only 1 waiter for the whole rooftop so you'll need to have patience if it's crowded. There were only 4 tables occupied when we were there so it was fine but if it's a weekend I would hope they would have more.

I loved my visit! I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was despite being near the riverwalk in the heart of the city. The service was wonderful, and we had an entire pergola-type thing to ourselves. It was very cozy (or hyggeligt as my Danish cousin who came with called it). She tried a white wine and the salt and pepper frites, both were tasty. I was thrilled to see Seedlip based non-alcoholic options since I was the designated driver, yet wanted to enjoy a sophisticated drink. My only complaint is that the overhead space heaters were not very strong, so dress warm with layers in case you are placed there. Overall I highly enjoyed my visit and will definitely visit again. I absolutely recommend trying it out.

We were looking forward a way to enjoy downtown Chicago amidst the COVID restrictions, and Raised Bar was a great find! The food was excellent, the server was friendly and helpful, and the view was exactly what we hoped for. We are under a portable heater and we’re comfortable despite the freezing temperature outside. I recommend the skirt steak, rosemary parmesan fries, and caramel apple tart.

This was one of my best restaurant experiences downtown.

I’ve always wanted to try Raised Bar Chicago and I thought it was a great opportunity for my girlfriend and I to celebrate our 4 year anniversary.

When we got there, we were seated in our own little igloo to stay out of the wind.

Then, we ordered drinks and food to find out they brought us a cheese plate, fries, and another drink to celebrate our special day!

I was blown away. I’ve never in my years of dining downtown have had such generosity at a restaurant.

The only name I got was Cliff, but him and the staff were awesome.

For sure coming back in the summer to enjoy the rooftop!!!

My friends and I were looking forward to starting our evening off with a few drinks to celebrate my girlfriends 27th birthday. I understand that with the newest regulations on indoor dining that we would have to sit outside. Raised has a very comfortable set up with fireplaces and heating lamps to help keep us warm, unfortunately the night was just too cold and windy for us to wait over 30 minutes for a drink. We arrived at 7pm, placed an order for drinks around 7:15pm and we decided to leave at 7:55pm because we had not yet received our drinks. Other guests that had come after us were getting served food and we hadn’t even gotten our drinks. Keep in mind there were maybe four other groups there, not exactly the busiest place in Chicago. Maybe they’re understaffed, but it just seemed a little odd to wait over 30 minutes for a bottled beer. To top off our experience at Raised, when we decided to leave and let the server know, we didn’t get an explanation or even a “sorry, have a nice night”. Overall I was disappointed in the experience and I wish we had known what the current wait was before going. Maybe when they sort out their staffing we’ll try it again. Great views tho.

Great Chicago view, food and drinks. Hostess was odd & unfriendly. No heaters at or near every table on the rooftop, so beware.

Everything about this restaurant is awesome ! The service food and certainly the view are exceptional! Th wonky down side is the 20% service fee which was explained to be a gratuity. We were surprised to see this fee but added our own gratuity because the service was exceptional.

The food was average tasting and very high priced. Menu is limited. Service was awesome though and the rooftop setup is beautiful

Terrible drinks and service. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order and the drinks were terrible. On top of everything they added 20% service charge to the bill which the service did not deserve

Best customer service ever we asked to move our table for a better view of the city and the waiter said no, then we asked another waiter and he went and asked the manager then he said no again, mind you it was my grandmas first time in Chicago so she really wanted a dinner with a view so 5 mins later the manager comes and he’s like get up i got u that table you wanted. My grandma was soo happy.

Food delicious and service top notch. The views are really nice for 3rd level. Our tabletop was dirty with some sticky substance, though. Otherwise, all else was great!

The ambience was great, outdoor seating; wonderful view. I'd give the food an A+, the menu has a nice variety. The location inside the Renaissance Hotel (4 Star with 5 Star Amenities) is excellent...

Went here for an evening dinner with a friend and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great, drinks are potent and they ambience and view was also great. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely great place you should visit you will not be disappointed

Nice atmosphere, followed covid guidelines. We ate dinner in a small clear greenhouse, which was different but still nice. Menu is limited.

The service was not great, we waited a long time to get a server to come and assist us, and that’s because I asked for someone to come see us. As well, they don’t have the place properly heated for people to be outside because of Covid. They had like maybe 3 heating lamps and non of them was near us. Overall it was ok, we could’ve gone somewhere else.

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon for a drink. This staff was very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. Our service was friendly and fast. We will definitely make our way back when in the Windy City.

Outdoor patio dining is exceptional! Beautiful view, excellent service, and nice large heaters to make it comfortable. Also very covid safe and safe social distancing.

No one mentioned about our special ovation. Even with covid they didn’t try to make it nice you have an specific time to eat ( about two hours)

Made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday — upon arrival the staff was extremely kind as was our waiter when we were first seated. Each table is given a 90 minute dining experience due to COVID which was understandable. However, after receiving and finishing our first drinks we were only asked if we wanted another drink one more time in the course of 90 minutes. They didn’t acknowledge my girlfriends birthday, didn’t say happy birthday, and she wasn’t offered a complimentary dessert of any kind compared to the many places we’ve been to around the area. Food was AMAZING, waiter was okay, and we simply felt rushed. Not a go-to spot for us.

Could expand the menu. Great customer service, beautiful view.

Service was slow, not sure who our server was (multiple people taking request, may be they were understaffed and just trying to make up for it). We waited for our second drink order for more than twenty five minutes (during which we gave two reminders for the drink) before cancelling it and asking for the check. Despite this mild sour experience, I must say the food was delicious and the ambience was amazing. I bet in a non-covid era the place is much more mesmerising.
