    Absolutely fabulous! Who knew this little treasure was hiding in plain sight? Great ambience, our server, Justin, had such knowledge about the menu and he was attentive, professional and added to the exceptional all-around experience. The food was outstanding and the drinks well-crafted. We will be adding The Red Feather Lounge to our repertoire of date night restaurants.

    This is our second time dining at Red Feather. Their menu is creative, locally sourced and full of flavor. The menu options are unlike any other on 8th street. Our waiter Justin anticipated our needs before we realized them. He was attentive, polite, friendly and professional. The a-muse-bouche was a tasty treat prior to our Crab and Quinoa fritter appetizer; which was also extremely delicious. The salmon was cooked medium (as recommended by the chef). The parsnip puree, quinoa and broccolini were full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. The Wagyu steak was savory, tender and cooked perfectly throughout. The dish was full of color thanks to the purple potatoes and charred kale. …and the Hazelnut chocolate torte is to die for! Do not skip dessert!

    Went for Valentine’s Day. Cocktails and service was superb however appetizer cheesy puff wasn’t anything to write about. Tasteless except for the goat cheese to dip in. I wouldn’t order again & quit pricey for what it was. My husband ordered the special scallops. Came with 3 on polenta. The scallops were good but the mushroom polenta didn’t have much flavor except for the garlic chunks and some sweet potato (or something) in it. It’s also had chunks of fancy mushrooms in it that some were hard and too chewy. I ordered the skirt steak and had to send it back for being cold throughout the entire dish (and it was gross to eat). I asked them to warm it and They brought me a an entire new one (which was right of them to do). Once they did that I was happy with my meal and the entire plate was delicious and eaten entirely by my husband myself. He enjoyed the meal, but honestly I think it was just ok and wouldn’t choose Red Feather to be my top 10 restaurants to go back too. The atmosphere and sitting up stay was probably the highlight of it all. I would definitely try it at least once and request upstairs seating.

    I used to love Red Feather before it closed during CoVid, so I was excited to try it again when it re-opened. The food was mediocre. My brussels sprouts were mushy and entrees were not hot which is a pet peeve of mine. Also we were seated in the bar, which I didn't realize when I made the reservation. Would have preferred to be upstairs. Service was good but food was nothing special.

    We were here for brunch while visiting Boise from out of town. It was really good. The gravy is delicious. Very cool place. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

    Our server was wonderful. The food not so much. Ordered 4 plates to share and nothing really stood out for flavors. Sat us next to the bar at a small table. Cramped. I think it may be a good place to go to meet friends for drinks but I'd pass on the food.

    Always a fantastic brunch at Red Feather Lounge. We love this place. Sitting outdoors is great in the winter as it’s covered and warmed with warmers. It can get a little loud with bigger parties, but overall still very enjoyable and a great brunch spot.

    What a wonderful treat for date night! We had a reservation, and our table was ready when we got there a few minutes early. Glad we had a reservation as Red Feather was packed on a Friday night. The service was excellent, the drinks were well crafted (and tasty!), and the food was so good we are still talking about our meals (bison meatloaf and the duck). Highly recommended!
