   The experience was far from great. First they do not know how to manage call ahead and open table priority seating. You are just lumped into walk ins. The hostess was lost and kept telling everyone it would be 30 min when it was actually closer to an hour. She would wander off and seemed very confused with lots of empty tables in restaurant. Was wondering where manager was- never seen. The table was visibly dirty and we had to wipe it ourselves. The service once seated was good. Did have to remind server of things requested. Snow crab legs had visible crab leeches which should be scrubbed off.

   The experience was just okay. The crab legs were cold at the tips and warm at the base, but they were somehow done and tasted good…just would have been nice if they were hot! Salad lettuce was huge pieces of lettuce and required cutting before eating, and the coleslaw just isn’t as good as it used to be. Wish they would bring back the red wine vinaigrette and the original coke slaw recipe!! Shrimp scampi were delicious!! Overall, not bad, but could be better, for sure!!

   Most disappointing. We have been to Red Lobsters on Montgomery many times. The foods are usually pretty good, and the service was generally nothing to complain about. Last night, however was beyond bad. We ordered Lobster, it came without the two side dishes. The waitress doesn’t seemed to notice. My request for a cup of hot water for my tea, took forever. We asked that the Lobsters be broil, instead it came boil. However, the Manager did came out and apologize and our bill was dedicated minus the two side dishes. I guess week day is not a day to dine. They are apparently short handed and maybe inexperienced Kitchen cook, etc.

   I have to day our food came out warm and fairly quick. We were seated quickly and the hostess was pleasant. The food portions are much smaller but prices have gone up. The table was dirty feeling and our waitress was pretty much non-existent. She never refilled our drinks. For me all you have to do is keep my drink full and I am happy. They do have an app with a rewards program which is nice however we wanted the desert and was told there was no ice cream so we went with a different choice. The waitress took down the code but when we got home I noticed that we were charged for the free shrimp. My husband paid the check and didn’t notice. A waitress really can make or break your dining experience. She wasn’t even willing to take our check to pay our bill. She laid it in the table and told us to use the tabletop option to pay. My husband tipped her too much in my opinion.

   Tiny scoop of mashed potatoes and small serving of broccoli for entrees that come with 2 sides. I'd also like to box my own food when there are leftovers. Wait staff should never insist to/and do it. Aren't C19 cases up in Hamilton County right now? 13May22

   20 min wait despite reservation. The hostess just looked at us even though we couldn't hear our name through their masks and the phone msg was sent 10 minutes prior. We had to wait another 5 minutes for the hostess to return, upon which she defended the fact that she did her job in calling out name up for seating. The waitress took awhile to get our order. Never brought our water and flatware until AFTER our order was brought. Biscuits came after we mentioned and by the guy we mentioned them to brought our food out. Then our server brought another basket without a word. Fries were not done. But we are.

    We had read the poor reviews the restaurant received a few months ago, but have always liked Red Lobster so decided to go anyway. Some of the portions may have lessened but the overall food was basically as good as pre-pandemic days and we enjoyed our meal. Since seafood restaurants are not plentiful here, we find the Red Lobster to offer a good seafood meal at a very affordable price. The service was very good considering how difficult it is to get staff. We had a priority seating reservation so did not have to wait long for our table. The wait staff may not have been too experienced, but was very accommodating and helpful and did a good job. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

    The root vegetables were almost dehydrated and probably about a two tablespoon serving. The lobster was so rubbery I had to tear it with my hands. No one at the table was really happy with their meals. The cheddar biscuits were the best part of the meal. Fresh, hot with a crust over a moist center. Most of the food was edible, but not enjoyable. Definitely a first world problem, but disappointing still. Won't put Red Lobster back on our short list for date night.

    They do not take reservations, only priority seating, and there is almost no room to stand and wait. This was very disappointing. We wound up waiting about 40 minutes in their crowded entryway. The man at the desk said we were lucky because it would be over an hour if we didn't have priority seating. The food itself was OK, but it took a long time to get our meals. We had to ask multiple times to get sweetener for our ice teas. My son had several muscles in his dish that were not opened up (a sign you should not eat them) so he was somewhat disappointed. I did like the biscuits they served prior to our entre's coming out so that was a positive. Paying for the meal was a fiasco. The waitress openly complained that management forced them to use the table kiosk and using a gift card seemed to create a problem. The way it was entered did not give us an opportunity to leave a tip so we had give her cash plus we never got a receipt. There are a lot better places in town to go for seafood so we will definitely not be going back.

    Using open table made no difference in the wait to be seated. The hostess gave us a beeper but was calling parties by name. When she called my name after 20 minutes I came up and she asked if a table was ok. I said yes and she told me to go wait again until my beeper went off. Wait time was 20-25 minutes, which was the wait time they told everyone when they got there. Three of us ordered from the catch of the day and all of us were disappointed. One of us got rainbow trout, two of us got Mahi Mahi. The rainbow trout was just grilled fish. Not even with salt and pepper. One of us had ordered the root vegetables for an additional cost as an up charge and got a ridiculously small amount of vegetables (Not even a full serving spoon of vegetables). Those of us who ordered Mahi Mahi had choices on the menu for how it would be prepared and one chose olive oil and lemon, the other chose a pico de galo both with 2 side orders of broccoli. The fish came to us and mine had a small plastic condiment dish filled to the top with olive oil and a lemon wedge on the side. I literally dipped my first bite into it to see what it was and got a mouthful of plain grilled fish covered in straight olive oil. The other guest had a small black plastic condiment dish with a very small amount of tomatoes and onions (think 1/3 the size of a chipotle condiment container of salsa). Neither of us received a double order of broccoli as ordered (I had 5 broccoli crowns!!) None of us enjoyed our flavorless fish and paltry sides. The last person in our party had ordered New Orleans seafood with mashed potatoes topped with some kind of shrimp sauce. His potatoes came plain. When he told the waitress, she came back 5-10 minutes later with a black plastic container of the gravy and unceremoniously just poured it over his potatoes, apologizing it should have been done before he got it. (Can you say tacky?!) Cmon Red Lobster, even Frisch’s would have just brought him a new side dish!) Awful!

    I made a call ahead reservation on open table. We waited about 14 minutes to be seated even though it looked like several empty tables and nobody left the restaurant while we were waiting to be seated. The waitress was very nice but the service was horrible- probably not the waitresses fault. It took over one hour to get our food. We arrived at 7pm and didn’t leave the restaurant til 7pm. And food was mediocre and overpriced for what you got.

    Fish was deep fried not broiled. Steaks should have been Medium rare was cooked well done. My daughter Ed ordered chicken and it came out raw. We finally left after the second steak came out raw. Yes raw. Totally a bad experience.

    Made reservations for 6:15pm we arrive at 6:04 and were seated at 6:11. We ordered drinks a strawberry margarita and daiquiri. Sometimes they make the margarita perfect and other times it taste like it's missing something. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and we should we stopped there. They came out rather dry hardly any sauce. I ordered Cajun chicken linguini and my husband had rock lobster and sirloin. My food looked like chicken noodle soup! Absolutely a soupy mess. I quickly grabbed server ( she hadn't delivered our meals). She knew immediately it was off. She sent manage over, when. She finally arrived to the table 7 minutes later she smerked at my meal and asked if I wanted something else I choose the fried fish dinner and when it came FINALLY my husband was finished with his meal. My started with the baked potato which I could tell had been cooked awhile ago. I just boxed my meal and asked for the check. Not a good experience. Definitely not worth the money spent.

    We have been here a few times. This time was mediocre to say the least. Mixed drink was horrible, appetizers had very little seasoning or flavor. We had mushrooms and lobster artichoke dip.     It’s been three (3) years since we ate @ this location & beginning to remember why! Service went up & beyond.... after we were seated!!! 45 minutes after our preferred reservation time!!! Why we make reservations, so we can eat when planned! Our 11 year old specifically wanted to have lobster for her birthday, so kid lobster offering fit the bill!! The interior is old & musty smelling... uggh not very appetizing, dirty bathrooms as well. Two (2) babies with a large party next to us screamed the entire time!!! Platters were okay & shrimp was a highlight, broccoli & veggies were sad. Our server made a special ice cream sundae for our birthday girl, that was greatly appreciated! With so many options & spending $100 for 3 people, torn about giving it another try...

    We understood this was priority seating and not a reservation. However, when we walked in the hostess was rude. She was giving some people pagers and others not and the accuracy of estimated timing was way off. The place smells really bad. There were piles of trash in the restaurant area and restrooms, I took pics. When we were finally seated, we were seated at a table that was available the entire time we were waiting. I watched other tables empty and not be filled again the entire time we ate, meanwhile a packed lobby of angry patrons. The service was mediocre and the food made us question why we choose the restaurant. Spend your money elsewhere.

    As much as we like Red Lobster, this time it was disappointing. They sat us quickly and then it was like we were invisible to the point we were talking about walking out. Finally, a server came over, however, she was very attentive. There was another young man who did a much better job with us, removing plates, asking if we wanted more to drink. Then the food just wasn't as good as we have had in the past. It was a disappointing visit to a chain we actually like.

    We had an excellent server, Olivia. She was one of the best I've had at any restaurant. Our food was good but I do find it pricey. Nevertheless, recommend this if you are in the mood for seafood.

    The food was cold and the waitress was extremely rude. I come to this establishment at least 3x a month and never encountered someone who clearly hated her job. She acted as if every question pained her to answer. If I decide to return and she is the waitress again then I’m leaving.
