Normally I would give Red Lobster 5 stars on everything because I always get good food and good service. My only negative comment was on a Thursday evening at 6:30, they were out of baked potatoes and I settled for french fries which were pretty ordinary. I was told they had been very busy and would be getting fresh produce in on Friday.
There Thursday special is truly a bargain. You get Walt's Shrimp dinner, a dozen medium, butterflied shrimp, two sides and a beverage for $12.99. The food is very good, it also includes their famous biscuits. I had a 7:30 reservation and they weren't very busy. I did have to move to a different booth because the air conditioner was blowing directly on me. Service was excellent. My server Betsy has waited on me before and has always given me good service. They are still using a paper menu but hope their regular menu will be out soon. Right now if you want a salad, they only have a Caesar salad. It's very good but sometimes I want their garden salad. If you are having a baked potato and watching your sodium, be sure to tell your server you don't want salt on the outside.

I had very good service and my dinner was excellent. Go on Thursday when they have Walt's shrimp on special, a real bargain.
We go often because we have gone for over 30yrs however the value and the atmosphere have declined or maybe even stayed the same, but with the change in the dinning experience I feel Red Lobster needs to step it up. Servers there are great

We go on Thursday for their daily special, "Walt's shrimp." You get 12 shrimp plus 2 sides. I always get their caesar salad and baked potato. Beware, they have started salting the outside of the potato so if you don't want the salt, tell your server.
Food was delicious, I will definitely be returning!

We came on Thursday to get the daily special, Walt's shrimp dinner. It is not only delicious, but priced very reasonable. We got one dozen shrimp plus two sides and a beverage for $12.99. Quite a bargain.

Ordered the pasta. Tasted like it came straight out of a bag. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and gross. I know it’s a chain, but at least try..
Red Lobster has great biscuits- they are the only outstanding bit of food we were served. The ambience is only so-so. The decor is tired and old. The effects of Covid are very obvious. Lobster was mediocre. We won't be back.

We ate in the bar. The server was friendly and was helpful in identifying items on the menu. Beer was cold, salad was good, the biscuits were great.
Service was amazing, very attentive and didn’t miss a beat. Food was good. Lobster seemed a little tough/rubbery and the crab was a little over boiled. But still tasted very good.
after a horrible experience at fogo we went to red lobster to salvage my birthday. They were practicing social distancing and went above and beyond to make us feel safe and to save our evening. Thank you.
Great service and very accommodating
The food was okay - what I expected from Red Lobster. The coconut shrimp were very tasty. Service was sub par. We had to asked 3 different people to get steak sauce for my wife's steak. Our server took our order, but someone else dropped off the food. It was very disorganized. One item was missed. We asked our server about it and. It still took 10 more minutes. By the time it came we were all done eating. The manager stopped by and we explained what happened. He did not apologize, but said he would box up the item which we didn't ask for. The server did give us a desert for our trouble which was nice. I'm torn, because it's hard to expect more from Red Lobster, but at the prices they're charging, you should be able to.
I think our waiter was Ryan? He is the number one reason that I would go back to this Red Lobster.
This is much better than you think. Lobster tail was grilled to perfection. Shrimp was fresh and in perfect garlic butter. Broccoli was steamed perfect. Wait staff was all under 30, but good and you could tell had been through training. I am a foodie and veteran to restaurants for 28 years. Owned my own restaurants. Traveled to 48 countries. Despite this being a chain/corporate restaurant, they deliver and do it well.
My moms birthday. This reservation was marked as a no-show, but we did show up. Not sure if the hostess didn’t mark it correctly, but we were there at about 6:25.
Red Lobster has really gone downhill. We used to go there all the time and we haven't been there lately so we thought we'd give it a try. I had snow crab legs and they did not look very fresh. The other meals on our table didn't look that good either. It wasn't very busy at all on Sunday evening and the service was OK but not great.
Dinner mostly ok, lobster tail was way overdone though and the fried shrimp seemed to be more breading than shrimp and mushy at that. Maybe recipes have changed but food here better a few years ago! Clam chowder was thin and no clams, not a lot of flavor. Have had better chowder at other restaurants that don't even feature seafood.
The food was very salty. The lobster was overcooked and my wife's shrimp were undercooked. The food quality has really gone downhill.

Slow service, cold food, seafood and veggies were “soggy” . Yuck.
When craving seafood - fairly good value. Usually service is pretty good. I think because NY's eve. We had to ask for silverware, ask for napkins, ask for butter, ask for small fork for crab. It was painful.

Our service was fabulous. Our waitress was very helpful for suggesting items in the menu. I had salmon New Orleans with broccoli & seafood chowder. All very good. My husband had the trout with mashed potatoes & broccoli & his was equally as good. No room for dessert but the Red Lobster dinner rolls are sinfully delicious enough to take place of dessert
