Hostess had no class
I realize when you use OpenTable it tells you that you are on a waitlist but they do not put you at the top of the waitlist as stated when you sign up on OpenTable so it’s sort of useless using OpenTable because you had to wait just like everybody else did in the restaurant and we ended up with a 7 o’clock reservation and we sat at 7:50.
New Year’s Eve
We had a great family outing to Red Lobster. The service was excellent and the food was prepared perfectly the first time. Great to be away from the crowded mall this time of year.
Other then the annoying fruit flies would have been a nicer experience
There was short delay in being seated. The waiter was prompt and thoughtful. Food was very slow in getting served. We were told that staff had walked out. We saw numerous diners leave without being served. There were a number of VERY noisy families that were out of control. The AC was much too cold. Don't like to be negative, but a very poor experience, despite very good food.
Was told 5-10 mins to be seating. Staff is disorganized, waited 30 mins and just left. Too bad, Red Lobster used to be a good dinner place, have been disappointed the last few times.
Waited 10 mins to get anymore menus. Got up and walked out. Manager didn’t even know where we were sitting so she could get us a server. The place wasn’t even that busy. This place goes from having great service to horrible service.
They should have a Yes but answer to whether you would recommend Red Lobster to a friend. I used OpenTable to get on the waiting list for a 6:45 reservation. When I arrived I was able to see that my name was on the list and the hostess told me it would be a 20 minute wait for my table. There were a number of people there already waiting so that made some sense to me. The first 20 minutes went past and there was little movement in the now growing crowd of folks waiting. One woman kept checking her place in line as she too was told 20 minutes and she was first told that she was next in line and then told she was 3rd in line. Needless to say she was not happy. I spoke to the hostess and told her she just needed to be honest with folks and let them know the real wait time. Clearly this isn't company policy as she continued with the 20 minute wait time when folks came in to sign in. I was also told that the OpenTable waiting list wasn't the priority list so that isn't the best way to get in line. Long story short we were finally led to a booth. On the way to the table it was easy to notice the large number of empty tables. I am guessing they do not have enough help to man those tables. The booth selection made no sense as I was with my parents who are in their late 80s. One uses a walker and would clearly struggle to get in and out of a booth. We were moved to a table and handed menus. When we placed the order the server didn't write anything down. I was impressed as you see that too often. While she got most of the order correct there were a few missed items, items prepared wrong, etc but after waiting so long you take what you get. One thing that really surprised me was that the server didn't know how to respond to a food allergy. Typically the server in a restaurant knows how to deal with this important issue but she didn't. The food was fine. If you could put customer service back into the mix it would probably be worth the money.
Worst meal ever. Went for crab season special. Not as seen on tv. Proteins were cold. Veggies & potato were old. Barely a salad. Not worth the money.
Tim B, our server was the highlight of the night. He made great recommendations, was super friendly, and our glasses were never empty. The food was tasty and made perfectly.

Upon walk in- host told me 45-1 hour wait. I began looking for other restaurants on the open table app. When I noticed that Red Lobster was listed on there I asked if I could use the open table reservation. She told me that the app didn’t connect to their system and that it was longer if we used the app and to just use my name. I had a weird feeling about it so I just used another party members name and kept the open table reservation. I wasn’t surprised when they called out my open table reservation name and sat me before calling out the fake name I gave the hostess. I
Tim the waiter was amazing. Fun spirit and very nice. The food was delicious.
The back of the restaurant seemed cold, but the manager quickly moved us! Our server was Roger. He was great.
I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service at Red Lobster, we had a gift card and decided to go, I had not been to a Red Lobster in years and was pleased with the food and te service and attention was great!
The wait time was not bad for a Saturday night. I thought our Hostess could have been a little better she just sat our menus down at our table and kept on walking. Our waitress we had to keep asking for biscuits after our drinks and after our meal came, little disappointed about that otherwise a good meal.
I think maybe the manager on duty should walk around and ask the customers if everything is okay that's done at a lot of other establishments that I've dined at.
The service was very good. Cocktails were good, not great, but typical for a chain restaurant and not cheap. We missed happy hour by 10 minutes. The food was good, again for a chain restaurant, but nothing spectacular. We just like going to Red Lobster during the week when it’s not crowded and noisy.
Great night out for a Saturday didn't have to wait too long to get seated, service was good only compliant was our entrees arrived within minutes after our salads we're placed in front of us.
We love Red Lobster & were there for the Endless Shrimp Special. Our waiter was kind & the food was great. The only downfall was our food we ordered to go. The order was not correct & it was such a small amount of food. We were already home before we noticed, so nothing could have been done about it.
