Red Lobster - Oakdale

Using the Internet Red Lobster "Wish List" to save a space was very easy and it worked beautifully. Upon arrival at the appointed. time, the four of us were seated immediately.
Waitress was perfect and alert to our requests. Very nice time was had by the four of us.

Food was excellent, a little pricey. But a nice choice for Christmas Eve. It could have used a more festive decor though.

Traun was our waiter. Excellent service, very pleasant and a real hustler. Everything was served warm and met our expectations

Seated immediately (had a reservation). Our server was knowledgeable and was attentive to our needs.

While we had a "open table" the hostess, who was new, didn't know anything about it. I tried to explain it to her, but she wasn't having it. I asked her to check in with her manager, to which she replied, "I'm new." To which I replied that was okay. In other words; get the manager to explain how this works so you can grow from this experience. She gave us a beeper, but it never went off. If she had told me they were going to call me; I would have checked my phone.
While the food was tasty, it was so slow. The waitress no was super cute. Just an fyi - when you have a drink order, bring them before the food.
We'll take a break from Red Lobster.

HAD A 6:30 RESERVATION , NOT SEATED TILL 7:00 . HAD TOO ASK FOR SILVERWARE AND THE TOOL FOR THE CRAB LEGS .MY GRANDSON DID NOT GET HIS LEMONADE FOR 20 MINUTES , THE SERVER LEFT IT ON THE TRAY ! POOR SERVICE , $3.00 FOR A KIDS LEMONADE , YOU GOT TO BE KIDING ! YOU WON'T SEE US AGAIN !!!!!!!! SHOULD HAVE GONE TO OLIVE GARDEN !

We arrived at our reservation and was told 35 minutes wait time. After 50 minutes and watching 3 people who'd arrived after us be seated i approached the staff. A manager looked me in the eyes and said the next table available he'd seat us. Another 4 people later I approached another staff member. We were finally seated once another table was cleared. Am hour after our arrival and people who'd walked in the door without pre booking were seated before us. Totally unacceptable service

My husband and son shared the ultimate feast. The crab legs and lobster disappeared. Salad was excellent. Steak fixed to perfection - true measure of a great Chief. We also enjoyed the biskets and Alec was super great about bringing us more! Thank you for a great night!
