Red Lobster - Olathe

Best service we’ve had at Red Lobster. Food was great.

The food was excellent! We were seated immediately even though they were busy! Our server was pleasant and attentive!

The quality of food and service has declined greatly over the past few years.

The wait was ridiculous when I got on the list ahead of time.

All you can eat shrimp was delicious and a good value. My husband and I both got the scampi; I chose the teriyaki for my second kind and my husband had the breaded. Large initial portions followed by 1/2 portions if you've got room. We found out after the fact that there are 4 varieties not listed in the menu that are also available. If I'd had any room for more, I would have tried the garlic. We also each enjoyed a glass of wine and the meal came with a salad and a side. Our waiter was busy, but attentive. The only glitch of the evening was we were instructed that credit card payments had to be done at the table, the server never touches the card, and if we wanted a printed receipt we would need to select that option. The server would know we wanted the receipt by a blinking light on the cc unit. The light did blink for quite a while, but the server never came by. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I went to the hostess station, explained the situation to 2 different people, and waited another 5 minutes or so before the receipt was delivered. Paying at the table really was simple, it's a shame we had to wait for the requested receipt.

Crate restaurant and since everybody wants to eat there making call ahead reservations on OpenTable put you write to the of the list which is awesome! There were people waiting inside and outside and we got in the front of the line, seated within 5 mins. Staff was awesome regardless of the fact that they were running their butts off.

Red Lobster’s just not the same as it used to be. The food was just ok. Not terrible but not great. Even the cheddar bay biscuits lacked flavor. We had some bad experiences at another area red lobster so we thought we would try this one. The waiter was great but that’s the only good thing I can really say.

The food has declined at Red Lobster. i got the cajun chicken pasta and the plate was full of grease and it lacked flavor. My friend got the crab legs with broccoli and a baked potato. The potato was very small and the broccoli had no seasoning. The place needed a dusting and didn’t have pleasant oder.

Using opentable table was pointless. Priority seating doesn't mean anything. The wait time for us was the same as people who walked in.

Our server, Becca, was phenomenal! Everyone ordered something different and each one was very tasty. They even sang for mom's birthday.

Shrimp, shrimp, & more shrimp -- popcorn shrimp always excellent -- takes me back to my childhood. Scampi was nice and garlicky delicious. Admirals platters looked amazing -- not a morsel left on both plate. And of course, the tarter sauce takes us all back as well. Our server was friendly and helpful -- even brought us rolls to go. Caesar salads had just the right amount of dressing, grated cheese and croutons. Clam chowder was nice and creamy. Overall, we had a great family meal.
