Red Lobster - Woodbridge
The food this visit was adequate. While the service was fast, attentive, and friendly, I was left highly underwhelmed by the unseasoned crab legs. Won’t be ordering those again.
Food was very good, service was ok , accommodations were excellent since I was on crutches and knee brace and the accommodated me with a bigger booth. Very pleasant people who work there.
We had time to be seated at 5:45 thru Open Table. We arrived, not busy at all, told the host we had booked through Open Table, he seemed very confused and just stood there. It was a Monday night and only five tables in the entire restaurant. He asked us to give him a minute to clean a table. We said ok, he stood there and then said follow me, did not clean any table. He sat us in the bar area that seemed closed but no problem. We waited ten minutes, no one approached our table. During this time I observed two waiters standing by the drink machine, dancing around to the music that was playing, no acknowledgement. Then a lady in a t shirt came out of the back and loudly said, I will get your drinks while you wait on your waiter. Not sure why we had to wait on a waiter, I observed several not doing anything. I ordered iced tea with sweet n low. She said so you want sweet tea, I said no, I would like iced tea with two sweet n lows. She kind of stepped back, seemed to have an attitude and started to say something, at that point I was done. I looked at my husband and stated let's leave. We left. It was a Monday night, no business, and we just wanted to have a time out. They lost over $100 in sales, during covid, with no business. I am usually very understanding however we felt unwanted, disrespected and that serving us was a total hassle. We will not go back. Sad during a time when business should be thrilled that people chose their establishment. It was a bad experience that started when we walked in the door. We ended up going to Harbor Grille, which I totally recommend. The service and food was excellent. Red Lobster lost.
Waited for table even when it was empty; no server assigned to table so waited 30 minutes before we could get help; no one offered beverages; long wait for Luke warm food. People bothered to help us.
Our waiter was so sweet and was doing her best. She was overwhelmed with being over seated. With no manager to be seen and not a team atmosphere she was able to keep on doing her best possible with a friendly smile. Food was very good and fresh. As we left the parking lot the manager was so busy doing take out the dining room suffered.
Placed on waiting list with opentable. Showed email and confirmation to receptionist. Opentable sent an email about not following through with reservation. Check on the disconnect

More food than we could handle.
I’ve never been to this location before. I had a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket and it was nearby. We were told they were understaffed when we arrived. We were sat in the bar area and the bartender doubled as our server. Nice guy but obviously overwhelmed. He forgot a few things (including what I ordered). My family did get their meals right. Me? Not so much. I let it slide but I was disappointed.
Our server Elijah was AMAZING! He made it worth coming out. He is what a server should be!!
Baked/Grill Flounder taste like water & cold. The shrimp linguini was extremely nasty - shrimps were tiny and not cooked properly!

Fish was not fresh and food was super greasy. It wasn’t even crispy fried it was grease soaked. They also had no soda due to no carbonation but failed to tell anyone prior to seating and charged you for juices more money. This was their error that they should own up too. The staff said it had been since prev night. For a restaurant that is poor service
We visited the Woodbridge location on the evening of January 30, 2019 and I was pleasantly surprised that the whole Maine lobster I ordered was prepared exactly the way I described -- steamed and then woodfired for a short amount of time. The lobster was exceptionally meaty and very tasty. Our server, a gentleman, was extremely pleasant, courteous and unobtrusive (he didn't interrupt us frequently to ask how everything was at our table, but rather inquired politely at an appropriate time which we appreciated). The young woman hostess was quite personable and attentive and when I told her that through Open Table we had made a call ahead request for seating in a booth at 6:30 PM, she knew my name before I even gave it to her and said it was fine that we were an hour early. We enjoyed sitting in a booth in the bar section because it was quiet and away from noisy families with children.
Pleasantly surprised. Haven't been to a Red Lobster in ages. Our server was VERY friendly and anticipated all our needs. The food was delicious, healthy portions, good presentation.
