For the price of the food it was not worth it. The seafood was well over done and the steak wasn’t that great. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. The prices are too high for the low quality of food and service we received.
our waitress Donna was awesome and gave us the best tips for our delicious dinner. Looking forward for our next dinner this Fall.
Redwood Steakhouse is an outstanding dining option in Downtown Las Vegas. The food is excellent. And Jesus is a stand out professional on the Redwood serving staff who is both customer and service focused.
Another wonderful date night with my beautiful bride.
Donna was a superb server, very efficient and personable.
Staff communication was off, but overall food & service was good.
My rating would not be accurate because the restaurant is operating under pandemic conditions and not under normal conditions. 50% capacity, short staff, difficult to get proper food items from vendors, a myriad of difficulties plague most establishments. I do not fault them under these very difficult conditions, they're trying their best.
Paid $46 for a ribeye and it was flavorless. Cooked correct and tender, but did not even have salt and pepper. I expect so much more when paying that kind of money.
Our server Hilario went above and beyond. This place is a gem. We are from Florida and it is our third time here. The restaurant is always a must when we are in Las Vegas.
Amazing experience, food was great and the service was awesome. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.
Beautiful atmosphere, good food, and large portions. A little pricey but that is expected at a fine dining establishment.
Had the filet mignon which was excellent and prepared perfectly.
Excellent steak and was properly prepared! Donna did a great job servicing us! We would return without hesitation.
Just an update for other Open Table diners. I ate here again twice this past weekend. Everything was pretty good as always, but one comment. They are understaffed in all restaurants and I think Boyd is trying to fill hundreds of vacancies across their properties now that business in picking up due to Covid lessening. If you get one of the new and inexperienced wait staff, service will be slow, uneven, and spotty. For me, I am lucky -- I always request one of the old timers and get decent service, albeit sometimes slow due their being understaffed. But food is good and I love it here.
Need to put curtains up by the glass window so people standing in line for the market cafe can’t look in.
Thank you to the staff for a wonderful evening. I certainly appreciated that the chef prepared Lobster Thermador for me even though it was not an option on the menu.
The restaurant was not full, but you immediately noticed the lack of servers. Too long for drink orders and took forever to get food. One steak had to be sent back. quality was decent but ruined by slow service. It was not the fault of our waiter who did his best. It was the fault of management. Will not return
We’ve been to Redwood multiple times and looked forward to showing off our “find” to our friends. From being pushed over to the Noodles Kitchen dining room to watching other guests seated well after us get their food long before us, make us feel like an afterthought. The food was good, the other aspects were not.
Best dinner I have ever had in Las Vegas. Great service by Jesus and the food was ridiculously good; especially the Blue Cheese mac n/ Cheese with Bacon. Presentation was great and the food was cooked perfectly. Next time I'm there I will be having dinner at Redwood Grill!
“Jesus” always a great server! Caesar salad, New York steak and apple dumpling were all wonderful
Sunday Easter dinner!!! Ainu was our waiter excellent service. I gave him A + nothing but the best... Thanks again Redwood... 🥰
Great service would come back again and recommend someone
As always, our meal at Redwood was wonderful. Although the restaurant is in a casino property, we are locals and always feel like they understand the importance of building a local following in addition to serving tourists. Our favorite waiter, Jesus, made my father’s birthday a fantastic experience. It’s so nice to return and be recognized. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Once inside the restaurant, the ambiance is quiet and comfortable with updated styling. Definitely recommend!
Service Was Amazing, Our Waiter Always Came And Checked On Us. Steak Was Very Delicious N Cooked To Perfection. Was Disappointed In The Escargot, If We Had Knows There Wasn’t Gonna Be Any Taste To It We Would Have Not Ordered 2 Orders. Wasn’t Worth The $14.
Always great when “Jesus” Calaunan is our server! The Chef made rounds one night and that was nice!
Overall the food and service were good. Nothing stands out as a WOW moment. Everything was as expected for a pricey steakhouse.
The meal and service were great, however there was a family who allowed their two toddlers to cry, wine, shout, and run throughout the dining area. I asked the hostess if management had a policy regarding unruly children and she said they do not then excused herself stating she had something else to attend. This family ruined a birthday dinner with my son and me.
Great place, delicious and a lot of food for the money!! Would definitely go back and recommend to others
We made a reservation for 7:30 to have dinner to celebrate a birthday. We arrived early and they were able to seat us, which was really nice. Our server was very friendly. They were very understaffed and our sever had 15 tables, which was just too much. We ordered the crab cake and Caesar salad as starters and they were both great. He even split the Caesar salad between 2 plates since we were sharing it. I ordered my Filet medium and it came out medium well. We ordered mac and cheese as a side and did not get a serving spoon when it came out. We had to ask 3 times for the spoon. I didn't say anything about my steak at that point because, quite honestly, I wasn't sure how long it would take to get it replaced. My boyfriend ordered the Bone In Ribeye and added a lobster tail. The lobster tail was by far the best thing we ordered. When he brought the check, we told him about my steak being over cooked and he apologized but that was it. The manager came over later and asked how our experience was. We told her that our server was excellent, even though it seemed they were very understaffed. She admitted that they could use more servers. We told her about my Filet and showed her how overcooked it was and again, all we got was an apology. I didn't expect it to be removed from the bill, but a discount, or gift certificate to come again would have been nice. Overall it was a pleasant experience which could have been better if they had adequate staffing. The food was good, and fairly priced.
Disappointing service and the Steak was below par.
Bone-in ribeye was awesome. Lobster was excellent. I'm so happy that they are open again.
lamb chops were excellent. The bread was good also
Ate here twice again last weekend. Still the same good experience, both with respect to the food and service. I just wish they would expand their now limited menu and go back to the old menu choices. I really miss the prime rib and the roasted pork shank menu items. One other thing -- I was disappointed that even some "limited menu items" were not available this past weekend. I know they are trying to minimize waste during this time of pandemic, but it is disheartening to not get to eat what you want.
The food is excellent and the service is great. Nice and beautiful steakhouse with a flair of class.
After not being able to go to Vegas for over a year...Being at Redwoods was a familiar dining experience that I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint. Service and food was excellent. The portions and value for my buck is worth a return visit when I make it to Vegas again. Most items are ordered ala carte and isn’t too outrageously priced. When it says the sides are shareable...Don’t doubt it! My friends and I ordered two baked potatoes thinking..How big could a baked potato be?? IT WAS HUUUGE! It covered the plate! The prime rib was also HUGE! If you’re a Prime Rib person...You’d LOVE it! Redwoods...You still got it! Until next time. Aloha! Also, our two servers we on it! Kudos to Donna and her partner(sorry, I didn’t get her name)
Food was absolutely fantastic.. We had Cioppino and Bone-in Ribeye
Our server Jesus never disappointes.
We are so glad to have the restaurant open again. The food was as delicious as before, our rib eye cooked exactly how we liked it. One of our friends had special needs and requested that her filet mignon be prepared a certain way. She was so happy with it that she ate it all! Unfortunately a couple of the clams in another friend's cioppino were not fully cooked but she didn't want to complain as the rest of it was good. The service was a bit slower than usual but having been closed for such a long time, it was filled to capacity. The chef came out at the end of the meal and asked how everything was. That was different and we appreciated his interest.
Redwood Steakhouse is an amazing restaurant to dine at. The food was delicious and the customer service was outstanding. The staff are really engaging and truly enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend dining at the Redwood Steakhouse,
Is King crab supposed to be frozen/cold? Are rib-eyes supposed to be unseasoned? Is
asparagus the size of a male shaft? If so this is the place for you! Our waiter was inattentive and said he couldn’t change our order that was submitted a minute before. This was our waiter shown giving ground pepper to this customer despite telling us he only had this pepper.
