Best Japanese I've had in Sydney. Lovely staff. Really fresh sashimi

We had a lovely dinner with our kids - they enjoyed the BBQ experience and loved the noodles and novelty. All the food was tasty and we had a mix of BBQ meats and seafood, Bibimbap, Udon, salads and miso - all lovely Asahi on tab was excellent and icy cold. Thank you!

Perplexed by choice we decided to go the banquet option and it proved to be an exceptional idea. I probably would never have sampled the ox tongue otherwise and it was delicious. So much food that we couldn’t manage desert but overall a lovely experience.

First time back after the refurbishment. Food is superb as always! Although quite expensive but definitely worth it!

Surprisingly family-friendly for such a transparently business-oriented restaurant. I will most certainly be coming back.

Went there for a date night with hubby. Had the gold set menu, everything was beyond our expectation. The service was great, everyone seems quite knowledgeable and friendly. Beautifully designed restaurant with great food. Highly recommended.

excellent food, great service, a little too expensive.

The meat was really good, especially love the wagyu sirloin steak. However, the service was not too impressive. My partner and I feel rushed all the time. It feels like a "eat and go" restaurant. The service persons were quite green and untrained. Our sashimi was missed until we reminded them, and it was at the end of the course(after our rice). The experience was messed up. Also, it would be nice if the service persons could tell us how we should have barbequed our meat to enjoy the best of the good ingredient, instead of simply delivering the dishes on the table.
I would say this is a reasonable restaurant but I would not come back anytime soon.

Good food and friendly service

Quality of food is pretty good, especially Wagyu beef. It seems that price increased over last 3/4 years but still best BBQ in this region

Delicious food, sushi Wagyu and chicken were all amazing. The drinks were also nice. Ambience and service is enjoyable. Not pretentious but classy restaurant. Price is on the higher side but it’s worth it for the taste. Best cuts of Wagyu I’ve ever had.

Excellent meat quality, the best Japanese premium bbq in Sydney i believe. All the dishes are gorgeous and delicious, it's worth every penny.

Food was good. Service was not up to the standard expected, left standing in front of whole restaurant for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence.

Overall it is very good, the location of the restaurant, indoor lighting and layout are great. The food is good, especially the beef tongue and sushi rolls. The cocktails are delicious, but the options are slightly less. The only regret is that the sound is slightly noisy.
