   Restaurant Eighty Eight was such a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable! Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely stunning! Definitely recommend the high tea here!

   The staff were friendly and efficient. The presentation of the High Tea was excellent as was the food - my husband agrees the scones are to die for!!. I feel that it was good value for the cost.

   Lovely colonial building in a beautiful setting. The food for the High Tea was nice enough, but not exceptional. The scones were good - light and fluffy. I would have preferred more savoury food. The experience was spoilt by the amount of flies constantly buzzing around.

   The Convent is a beautiful building with some impressive history. The high tea experience was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. I can’t wait to come back.

    Beautiful high tea, lovely service from Sammy, we were able to move outside onto the deck to finish our tea. Inside there was a large group it was very loud and people were standing over us, it didn’t ruin the experience but would of been a lot nicer if we could sit outside away from the group from the beginning.

    Took my girls for high tea experience. Thought there was a kids option but was the same menu for everyone. We wasted most of the sandwiches and dessert. Sandwiches were made in advance and when we received them the bread was stale. I have been to a few high teas and this was disappointing. This is only catered to adult's only. There was no hot savoury as well. Alittle annoyed about the food but loved the restaurant set up, the staff was lovely but would of been nice to explain what we receive and made sure on the phone that the kids get an adult's serving. Will not be back for high tea but try other menu as this place was beautiful.

    This was the best high tea experience! The staff were very friendly and the entire place was absolutely beautiful! Would highly recommend! The food level was a lot for the price and delicious!

    Simply wonderful like always. I booked for the day before Mother’s Day (to avoid the crowds). For my mother and my parents mother. We were given a private dinning room which was simply amazing. The Mother’s were so impressed. Thank you for helping make this a Mother’s Day to remember.

    Went for a girls weekend to the Hunter Valley. Booked in for High tea at Restaurant eighty eight. It was absolutely beautiful! The location was lovely, and the service was friendly and accomodating. The food was tasty and generous. Would love to come back soon!

    What a great place. Beautifully quiet and serene. Service tasteful and polite and never in your face. The food was delicious and beautifully presented on the outside veranda. The day was brilliant, only surpassed by the great atmosphere and company.

    Our waiter was very nice, but the food overall wasn’t good. The flavours were confused. The Salmon was well cooked but the accompanying purple potato was hard as a rock and tasteless. The dessert was bright red, I don’t even remember what it was, and the scattered walnuts were rancid.

    Unfortunately we were 2 of only 4 people in the restaurant which meant zero atmosphere. A shame as some of the food was good but sadly the overall experience was not. It was a Thursday so maybe the weekend would be better.

    Excellent venue in Convent Hotel. limited menu choices and wine list. Food quality was very good and service also good. Due to limited menu you need to review menu before reserving a table.
