Food was terrible!

We had an amazing dinner. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. The food and drinks were top quality and very fairly priced. It’s a very beautiful location too. Don’t miss this place!

I ate same moles in another restaurant but this restaurant is much better than others.

Muy buena comida y cuidados ante COVID. Los platillos muy bien logrados y la atención de meseros excelentes, al pendiente y rápidos en atender. Nos gustó mucho y volvimos al día siguiente.

Como estaba lleno el servicio fue muy tardado nos dejaron. Mucho tiempo sin atender después de recoger los platos hibamos a pedir café y postre pero yatrfaronmas de 20min en preguntarnos

Lugar de tradición con servicio impecable y decoración sobria y de buen gusto. Platillos clásicos bien ejecutados con varias opciones en la carta. Personal muy amable en todo momento. Sin duda recomendable.

The service is outstanding and the appetizers and deserts are excellently prepared. But the entrees including the salmon and and octopus had excessive finishing salt and the octopus was quite tough.

I had my birthday dinner at Restaurant Catedral and it did not disappoint. The ambience was lovely. I highly recommend requesting a table in the courtyard. Service was impeccable and our waiter was able to describe dishes in detail while also recommending wine. It was a perfect dinner with my friends who joined me in Oacaxa to celebrate a milestone birthday!

A great choice in Oxaca. Exceptional cuisine and service with a very good low-key guitarist/singer the night we were there. Try for a table in the open atrium if you can.

Had not been to this restaurant for years. Everything about our meal was wonderful. I brought 12 people and everyone was delighted. Food outstanding. Service exceptional. Ambiance lovely. Will take my husband there next week.

Amazing food and great service

The starter was pretty good. Aguachiles with scallops. My tuna was good but some sides weren’t well cooked and it was a bit too much braw.

Very busy restaurant. Didn’t get much attention from the restaurant staffs. Food was ok.

Ordered steak medium-rare and it was nearly raw. Also given a butter knife to cut it. Waiters were not very interested in our table, making what could have been a great meal only fair. I ultimately got it back cooked properly and accompanied by a steak knife. Food otherwise was good and ambience was wonderful.

This restaurant is superlative in every way. The atrium dining area is quite special, with evening breezes animating the seasonal hangings. A fine guitarist/singer provided perfect ambience. Several of the bilingual waiters offered attentive service, suggesting menu choices, drinks, etc. we had the Oaxacan medley for two, a quite satisfying assortment of local delicacies. The tamarind mezcal Cocktail especially wonderful! We were treated like local family rather than as foreign guests.

Comida Oaxaqueña! Recomiendo el lechón!

Lovely, traditional Mexican restaurant. Interesting menu, and friendly service.

Reserve the red room which is more atmospheric. Food was excellent. Noise level high due to the street noise. Service just okay.

Fuimos a cenar un grupo de 5. La terraza es muy bonita pero pequeña por lo que constantemente tienes a los meseros circulando alrededor tuyo lo que a la larga no es muy agradable. Me pareció muy desafortunado el nivel de ruido tanto de la música cono de los asistentes que proviene del bar de al lado del restaurante y que creo que pertenece al mismo local. La comida muy buena, lástima por los postres que no están al nivel. El servicio tardado cuando hay mucha gente.

The lunch buffet is not good and expensive. Better off with a la caste dining.
