Rice Paper Scissors CBD

The food was excellent, as was the service. However, only one of the four wait staff was wearing their mask properly. One removed hers completely to speak to diners at the tables and others wore them under their noses. Disappointing.

Thoroughly enjoyed rice paper scissors. Great food and cocktails.

Food was sensational, service was amazing, waiters were always there at our needs and were such a delight. Had an amazing experience and certainly will be back there again! Couldn’t fault anything at all on the night, food was so yummy we ate so much, couldn’t even fit dessert in which we normally do hahah. Defiantely rate this 10/10, will be back again!! Thank you for having us!

Great food and service

We had a fantastic night. The food was amazing, the menu diverse and the 5 item selection was great value and the perfect amount of food. The service was very friendly and prompt. All round it was a perfect night out.

A favourite restaurant when I’m out in the city! Food is always exceptional and the vibe is fun and upbeat.

we had the lunch special chose 5 we love and that was plenty tea salad, sticky pork, scallops, chicken, betel leaf. Very nice non alcoholic drinks

Value for money is quite good.
A few points to note. Would have been nice to be advised as to what was not available on the menu.
The Pork Belly was not correctly cooked and was somewhat hydrolysed as opposed to the out layer being slightly crisp and the lower layer reduced.
Wait staff need to speak up if guests are being sat outside due to city / street noise.
Will probably check out the Fitzroy location but won’t be returning to the city option anytime soon.
In fairness managment did reduce the bill with respect to the Pork Belly.

Prior to COVID, this was me and my partners favourite restaurant. This was our first time returning post covid. I understand a lot of restaurant have been impacted but servicing sizes were dramatically reduced and it really didn’t feel like it was worth the money anymore.

Loved the food, fantastic service. Just not sold on the location - right opposite a car park. Also has the potential to be a little dangerous. There are no bollards to protect diners from anyone driving recklessly.

It’s hard to beat Rice Paper Scissors! We celebrated a special occasion and the food was phenomenal (as always). A relaxed and fun atmosphere supported by good food and drinks.

Great food served in multiple small portions. However, I wonder why they served rice at the end rather than alongside the dishes.

Amazing, exciting flavors that left my tummy very happy. Staff are amazing, the vibe tells you they enjoy their work and genuinely asked us if we enjoyed each plate. Make sure you have the tuna on brioche bun. Fantastic night out!

Excellent menu items on a set menu (8 courses) that included drinks booked in for a 2 hour block - a fantastic idea! Food was delightful and we loved the flavours and variety of cuisine. Table service was fantastic, as was the rate of food coming to the table and attention to water and drink requirements. Social distancing was spot on, inside where we sat. Well done!

we had the 8 course banquet which did not have a single dud course. Amazing flavours and the freshest ingredients. The staff were super friendly and kept the glasses topped up. A fabulous night, we will definitely be going back.

Our NYE dinner was just amazing. The food was beautiful, the service was amazing. We had a great evening.
