Great lunch at Riva, could not fault anything....
Will be back just as soon as we can!!

Generally excellent especially in view of how busy it was just prior to lockdown. My main was a bit dry (on the pass too long I imagine). Our waitress was brilliant but rushed off her feet with too many tables, but we'll definitely return.

Very pleasant Sunday afternoon spent in this very well run, extremely covid friendly restaurant where the service provided could not have been improved upon. Excellent food, good wine and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Riva is a great place for food and drinks. The staff are excellent very helpful and polite and they cannot do enough for you . The food is very fresh with a good variety of dishes that I am working my way though . I would not hesitate to recommend Riva

Great food at a good price. Super friendly service - they couldn't do enough for us. They didn't have mocktails on the menu but happily made one for my wife. Everything felt super safe and we can't wait to go back again after lockdown part 2.

Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Hale. Been here twice now and enjoyed both visits. Decor is cute and the Manager / owner is really friendly and willing to please. Covid secure and delicious food. We will be back

Another great visit to Riva Restaurant. This time I had the full English breakfast, a large portion (a bit too big for me, maybe they could do a mini breakfast) however it was perfectly cooked. The others in our bubble had the breakfast burger and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Everyone was very happy with the quality & presentation.

We had a delicious meal here. The service and food was outstanding. I had the fake n Hale pie and it was exceptionally tasty and pastry light and crisp without being stodgy. A varied menu and very reasonably priced , we will be back !

Lovely ambience. Great service and delicious food. I had the pancakes bacon & maple syrup & my husband had the full English breakfast. The seating is arranged so that we can safe distance and every care was taken to keep us Covid safe.
We are regular customers and will continue to support this business.

First time here since it changed from Earl. Beautiful surrounding, very good food, friendly & pleasant service. We visited on a wet Monday at 3.30 so it was quiet. Would recommend and will definitely visit again.

Love eating at Riva be it breakfast lunch or dinner. Friendly staff, delicious food and good atmosphere.

Have been a few times recently, great staff, great food, great wine! Beef wellington special was beautiful, but ever so slightly overpriced in my opinion.

I visit Riva about once or twice a fortnight.
The Staff are cheerful, polite,helpful and courteous!!
The food is always excellent,piping hot with good variety. Sea Bass is fantastic.
Excellent choice of drinks at a reasonable price.
They have kept the 50% discount when I have been on Wednesdays, which is appreciated.
They manage the seating and spacing well.
All in all an excellent establishment and look forward to returning!!

By far the best place that Hale Village has to offer.
Forget all the other places that rip you off, Riva has it all, amazing food, unbelievable service, brilliant vibe and an extremely welcoming restaurant.
I have and will continue to recommend Riva to all.
