RiverHouse Restaurant and Pub

We met for a Christmas lunch and enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere. They had a beer special and we enjoyed a pint.

Ordered Cajun Chicken Burger and the soup which was delicious. Our server was great and you could tell she knew what she was doing.

Decent pub by the water in Ladner, close to the tunnel. A nice rendezvous point for those on both sides of the Deas Tunnel

We had a fabulous anniversary dinner - just the 2 of us as these times dictate. Excellent food & service, lots of space with plexiglass panels between tables & servers wearing masks. The only sad note was that it was 2 days before Christmas & the restaurant was very quiet.
Hang in there River House - we’ll be back more as the vaccines roll out!

Four of us met for lunch and were concerned about the distancing but were pleasantly surprised at how well spaced and save everything felt.
The food was excellent and the service very good, with the server recommending the special which was a fettuccini with prawns and a curry sauce - it was lovely so was very pleased to have taken her suggestion.
We weren't rushed after lunch so were able to have a nice visit, with occasional offers of top-ups for our coffee.
All in all, a very pleasant and satisfying experience.

The food is always delicious and the service is top notch! Always enjoys looking out at the water while enjoying our lunch.

Love the menu...lots of excellent choices!

Every dish, down to the fries was excellent. We had the scallops and crab cakes for appetizers, followed by a local salad of pears and blueberry with mixed greens. The halibut fish and chips was outstanding.

This was a birthday celebration and it couldn't have been better. One of our ladies brought a homemade dessert and two wait staff brought it to the table after the main course. Thank you so much!!! The chef of the dessert gave each of our servers part of the amazing birthday cake. That just topped off a wonderful afternoon with good friends.

Our server was excellent, on time, friendly, witty. She was just right. Food was tasty-fries were hot, sandwiches hit the spot. We will be back.

We enjoyed a lunch on the deck , food was great and we even saved room for dessert.

This was an excellent place to enjoy lunch - sitting by the river, very relaxed seeing that good safety measures were being taken. Food very good, service warm & friendly.

Always enjoy the Riverhouse. Have been there several times since moving to Ladner. It is a good place for dinner and the pub is nice as well if you want something more casual.

We were able to be seated outside and we enjoyed the Happy Hour menu and reasonable prices. The service was friendly and hospitable and the view from the deck was lovely. We find this a comfortable place to visit and will come back again.

I had family visiting and they were staying with friends in Surrey. I searched Google maps for a nice place to have lunch with them between Vancouver, where I live, and Surrey. Found the Riverhouse Restaurant in Delta. It was pretty much in between and looked easy for both of us to get to. It was perfect! Easy, easy to get to (signage was excellent). Nice place, lovely environment, great food and excellent service. We REALLY enjoyed our lunch!

My cousin and I eat here every couple of months and always enjoy it.

Haven't been to the Riverwoods in over 12 years, and it was really great.
We sat in the pub, so it was really casual and easy to chat in.

Everyone in our gruop had-different dishes and they all enjoyed the food.

Patio dining at it's best - particularly south of Vancouver! The menu is interesting and varied and the food quality is consistently good.

We enjoyed dining on the patio. There was ample room between tables and we felt quite comfortable with the distancing. Our server, Angela, was friendly and ensured we had all that we needed to enjoy our fabulous meal.

This is a favourite location of mine - I love the patio overlooking the river. It can sometimes be cool (or very warm in the evening sun) so dress accordingly.

I had the grilled peach and blueberry salad with small shrimp. The day was gorgeous out on the deck and we felt very safe dining outside. The food was delicious and the server was kind and looked after our needs quickly. It wasn't a very busy day, I think about 4 or 5 tables. I think only one server was there and she was amazing. So friendly as we were heading out the door.

We always have a good experience at the River House. The service is just the right amount.. not too much, but certainly there when needed. I can't say we have ever had a bad meal and my husband said the ribs he ordered the other night were the best he has ever had.
Some people find this restaurant a little too out of the way but it is worth the drive!

This is a hidden gem with relaxing water views and the food is really good. COVID protocols are in place, servers with shield masks, sanitizer stations around and they take your name and phone number when you arrive. I feel very comfortable here! We had a very good dining experience.

My wife and I are bird photographers and spent the morning at the George C Reifel Migratory Bird sanctuary photographing the beautiful birds there. I chose the river house based on reviews and location and it exceeded our expectations. We sat out on a nice quiet safe patio by the Fraser River, everybody was wearing masks when they were eating, the waitresses were furiously wiping down all the tables and chairs but most of all, the service was timely and the food was appetizing and delicious. Overall a wonderful experience and heartlyrecommended. The fact that they also take open table reservations was fabulous. We had to delay our lunch by 30 minutes.

Riverhouse Restaurant is a very nice place to have dinner (or lunch) enjoying a very nice view of the Fraser river, Deas Island and the mountains as well.
The menu, food quality, service and decoration are all spectacular.
Definitely a place I shall visit again specially on a sunny afternoon to enjoy the outdoor area.

I can't think of a better place to dine on a sunny summer's evening. The view is of the river with a small marina just in front of you
I noticed by checking the restaurant prior to coming they were advertising a Grilled Peach and Blueberry Salad. Loved it! Always check for specials before you go anywhere. Next, we ordered our wine then causally, no hurry, order our food. The timing was excellent and the food was very well cooked as expected. This is a very special place to take that very special person in your life at any time, special occasion or not. Well worth it!

Great option for outdoor dining. Excellent service. Very good food for the price. We were a bit close to other tables even outside so asked to move and staff were very accommodating. The ling cod I ordered was perfectly cooked and love the barley risotto, something different. We were a party of 4 friends and all said we would visit again. Good job River House! 👍

Appreciated the outdoor patio seating (with a view!) during covid. Easy pace to dinner with no rush.

River house is always great, consistent food, good selection of drinks. We love coming to the River House and highly recommend it.

Sat on the patio, table for 4. Service was fast & friendly. Food was excellent, as it usually is.
Slight rain shower meant add another umbrella. We enjoyed.

Awesome views but pricey for what u get 27 bucks for fish and chips!
