Fabulous afternoon wine tasting and a delicious cheese platter!!

We absolutely loved our wine tasting and cheese board at Rob Dolan winery. Not only are the wines delicious and very drinkable, but the service was fantastic. So much knowledge and cute little anecdotes shared during our tasting. We left with an armful of wine and full intentions of coming back again and again. Highly recommend putting Rob Dolan on your Yarra Valley list!

Sensational afternoon. Could have stayed all afternoon. The cheese box accompanied by wines were Stella! Will be back!

Our wine tasting took 90 minutes to complete! Far too long for a tasting of 5 wines. We were just left waiting with an empty glass for long periods of time. Tasting pours were also less than generous considering how long we had to wait in between pours. It wasn’t even very busy.

Stunning way to spend my weekend with a friend, sipping on wine and eating the most delicious cheese platter.

Fabulous wines, setting and nibble platter all quality products. It was rainy the afternoon we visited but we very happily sat out under the sheltered verandah with lovely big gas heaters. All 4 of us joined the wine club too!

We did the $10 wine tasting and it did not disappoint, the host was fantastic and explained the wines really well, so friendly!
I highly recommend this winery for a chilled afternoon with friends or family.

I am a lover of wine and an addict of cellar door visits. I have visited most of the cellar doors in the YV region. Rob Dolan is the stand out.. service, food, ambience. The recent adherence to health restrictions and safety guidelines are next to none. Service to die for. Feeling valued and welcome - cannot wait to go back. We met up with other guests and formed new friendships. No one rushed us. No one hassled us. Service was well timed and followed through without interruption or annoyance. This place strikes the perfect balance of everything - and then, in the very same breath, it is also outstanding in excellence in absolutely everything. I do not know why I waited so long to get to Rob Dolan - perhaps the name itself didn't quite grab me as a 'winery'... but I was wrong and very happy to have been proven wrong. I will bring many people to this place. I will beat a drum for this place every time there is wine speak. Please, if you love cellar doors; if you love a good drop of wine; if you love the outdoors and the country feel... if you want to be blown away with beauty in every aspect of the word.. please visit Rob Dolan. I can promise you this - you will NOT be disappointed. Accolades to Rob Dolan. More than just a cellar door. More than just good wine. In the words of Molly Meldrum....
