   Rohr's does not disappoint. We eat here every time we visit Notre Dame. Our most recent visit was for breakfast and lunch during Admitted Students Weekend. Breakfast was so good. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must. The waffles are amazing. If you like french toast then you must order their "Irish" version. The eggs were fresh and delicious - as were the berries. Everything is made to order with the finest ingredients. Great way to start the day. Then there is lunch. OMG! Great cocktail menu and (in my opinion) even better food menu. Again everything is fresh and made to order. We had the warm grain bowl with chicken and the steak sandwich. Both were so delicious. The vegetables in the grain bowl were cooked perfectly and the chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection - the ciabatta bread was so fresh and delicious. Service here is consistently amazing. The wait staff are super friendly and ready and willing to accommodate any/all requests. The restaurant is extremely clean. If you are in the area - you must eat at least one meal here. You will be very glad you did.

   Certainly, worthy of a return visit as the menu selection was broad and the food was well presented and very good. The atmosphere was a little noisy for any intimate conversation, so table selection is paramount.

   Food was absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly and attentive with the manager coming to check to see our the meal was. Would definitely eat here again.

   Tables located just as you enter has a long bench/couch seating with a table and chairs…..very uncomfortable and oddly proportioned to the table.

    Eat here more frequently than any other place in town. Everything is great and their quality is consistent!! You cannot go wrong by reserving a meal here. If I have ANY suggestion it would be to expand the menu by a few entries...but I'm sure that only comes to mind because I eat there so often.

    Great ambience and service. We had salmon, pumpkin soup and Brussels sprouts and they were all delicious. Irish Old Fashioned was terrific. Wonderful meal. Will be back!

    We enjoyed our experience at Rohr's this evening. Large dining area. Very ample and comfortable space between tables. Outstanding classic cocktails. Our wines by the glass were excellent. The whiskey braised pumpkin soup was inspired. Our entrees were excellent, particularly the boar filet with beautiful glaze and lentil rice. The seafood pasta had gorgeous, perfectly cooked shrimp along with a few bites of lobster and nicely cooked squid. The cream sauce was a bit too spicy for my taste buds. Thank you for a lovely meal.

    I had a fantastic experience at Rohr's and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service. Whether you're looking for a romantic night out or a fun evening with friends, this restaurant is the perfect choice. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes. In addition to the delicious food, the service was top-notch. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.     We ate at Rohr's our first night at Notre Dame and liked it so much that we ended up there twice more during the weekend. Junior loved the steaks, although for 50 bucks I would expect a salad or side along with it. That's really my only gripe as otherwise the food was great and portions were large enough that we ate leftovers for lunch the next day. I recommend the orecchiette, the creamed kale, the Brussel sprouts and especially (!) the unique "whiskey braised pumpkin soup." I had perfectly cooked bacon and eggs one morning and again, there was so much bacon that the 15-year-old eating machine had to finish it. The Irish whisky cream custard served with the French toast was a bit weird for the younger set, but the French toast itself was very good. Lastly, the servers were very friendly but very efficient.

    We met halfway to catch up with friends. It’s a wonderful spot to have a good meal and conversation with friends. Great environment and everyone on the staff from the door team to the servers were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.

    For being listed as an upscale restaurant it felt and looked like you were eating in a cafeteria. The bar area was closed due to remodeling. I was so turned off by the atmosphere I left before ordering food.
