Our server was Alexandra & was very pleasant & efficient. We were both very pleased with the quality, taste & appearance of our food. The serving was generous also. We enjoyed the dining experience and look forward to returning.

Average food at average prices. I was actually disappointed. I ordered Pollo caprese...smallest mozzarella slice ever and very little pomodoro sauce. It was okay. We were hoping it would be better. And we all felt it was high sodium. Again. Disappointed. A positive side note that our server was very attentive!

Great food, seems even better recipes and offerings now. Service is always off. While always pleasant waits for drink refills, checks, etc are endless. This is tru from visit to vist

Great food. The service (Sheila) was outstanding. Value was very good. My wife has a fatal shellfish allergy, they were very careful to avoid cross contamination. Enjoyed the evening very much. Highly recommend.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner and had the best tasting meal. The ambiance was great as well. Had a great time

Everything was excellent! No complaints whatsoever. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out promptly. The portions were big enough to be able to bring some left overs home. There were other tables, but it wasn’t overly crowded and you could enjoy conversation at your table. It had a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant was very nice, but you didn’t have to be overly dressy. My family and I would definitely come back.

We were able to make last minute reservations for a Friday evening which was a plus.

We were greeted and quickly seated after we arrived. The restaurant is nicely arranged and doesn't feel crowded. Our waitress checked on us frequently and was able to take our order. The food arrived fresh and tasted very well.

The evening itself wasn't unremarkable. Our waitress did ask how our meal was but then didn't really check on us afterwards. The food was good but our bill ended up being well over $50, which I feel is a steep price for what we had ordered: a mac and cheese dish (around $14), a chicken dish (around $20), and an appetizer special (around $12).

In the end, I would say decent restaurant, decent food, but steep prices. On the fence if we would come back again.

Waitstaff were wonderful. Seated quickly and food was great.

Although I gave service only four out of five starts it was more because of the lag time that our server came back to the table and when we receive our check. It seemed that she may be a bit new. Otherwise she was attentive and found a singer to sing happy birthday to me. Thank you!

Great for a mid week meal

If your AC isnt working and its 100 degrees out, close your damn resteraunt. Your poor staff was sweating like crazy and the patrons were miserable. It was too hot to enjoy the food, service, or atmosphere. We couldn't leave as we had a large group with kids.

The food was good but I feel you are way over priced for just a dish of pasta..

16th b-day

Very disappointed with the food. No dining experience, order and rush you out. Even on a slow Saturday night.

This restaurant has marked me as a no show on open table three times when I've never missed a reservation! I'm going go to a different restaurant in the future because they can't get it right and obviously can't use technology

A group of old friends met up and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and did not rush use as we stayed for 4 hours between bar time and dinner. The food was fine and overall we had a great time.

I’ve eaten here many times but moved away 3 years ago. Was in town and took my sister in law and my family there to celebrate a birthday. It was one of the hottest days in July and the AC was not on. Asked the manager if it was in and he lied and simply said yes it was but no further explanation. My daughter spoke with a staff member who said they had just turned it on. Our waitress was not attentive, never refilled our waters, poured a sip of the wine for each of us to taste instead of just one of us and when told it was fine never filled our glasses with a full serving. My daughter ordered a dish with Alfredo sauce but there was nothing resembling Alfredo in her dish. Otherwise the food was good but the overall experience left much to be desired and I probably won’t go back to this restaurant next time I visit.

We love going to Macaroni Grill. It is quiet enough for conversation without having to struggle to hear each other, the food is consistently delicious, and the servers can’t do enough to accommodate our requests. It is always a delightful experience and the friends join us there feel the same way.

We came up to Rochester from Brooklyn/Charlotte respectfully for our daughter's college graduation and she loves Italian, so i figured perfect spot!!

Food was brought out fast, hot and delish! Our server Tori was super amazing and attentive! Thank you Tori for helping us make this a remembered Bday

We have dined at Macaroni Grill several times and it is unfailingly good. The food is well prepared and presented. I rate it as good, judging against the standard of the very best restaurants. I don’t think Macaroni Grill holds itself out to be pretentious: it serves well prepared traditional Italian food and it never disappoints.

Waitress was attentive but kitchen messed up the order twice. Food was good, not great. Typical of recent visits to this restaurant .

I really enjoyed Romano's Macaroni Grill. I have been there several times over the years and have never been disappointed. The Mac and cheese was perfect. The bread and the drinks were great. Service also good! Will certainly return.

Our waiter was Rush. He was excellent. He served our party of 5 while also serving another very large party and did a great job. He was friendly and knowledgeable.

Nothing fancy or exceptional, but a good place for lunch.

We had a reservation for 630 but weren't seated until 45 mins after our time. They sat a family that came in after us first. The soup was cold and my food had an overpowering grill taste. I understand it was mothers day and they were busy but that is why we made the reservation. Very disappointed. Our server was extremely pleasant though and kept apologizing for the kitchen being backed up. We have dined here before and it was enjoyable but we will be avoiding in the future on particularly busy days as they don't seem to be able to handle it well. Never once did a manager come over to apologize for the wait. Even the hostess had lost control of all the people that were waiting. We were standing near several angered groups of people who had reservations as well.

Went on Mother's Day, so we expected it to be busy with longer than usual wait times, as we've gone on this day in the past, but it was a disaster. Seated pretty quickly with our reservation, but bit of a wait before we were approached by our waitress and given menus. Long wait time for drinks, plus wrong size wine for me, dirty wine glass for my husband. Bit of a wait for our soup/salads. Waitress was hustling, but we didn't see her often -- too many tables to juggle?? When she did come by, she kept apologizing for the delay, and offered us more bread. Long wait for our entrees, more offers of bread. She got my daughter's order wrong, my husbands meal was barely warm, and son's pizza was half burned. By the time we left, it was almost 2.5 hours after our arrival. Both son and husband had bad stomach aches later that night. We'll have second thoughts about going back, at least, not on holidays. Hard to tell how much of our experience was due to a ditzy waitress or over-busy kitchen. We usually have a good experience.

6 family traveling from Albany back home to Niagara Canada and stopped for late Mother’s Day lunch.

Pleasant experience and everyone enjoyed their food and service was great.

Would stop again for another meal when traveling by Rochester.

The spinach dip appetizer was cold. The wine didn’t get there until after our food did.

The mussels and lobster bisque appetizers were delicious. I was pleased with the wine selection and our waitress was friendly and very helpful with suggestions. We tried three different entrees and each of us was very pleased with the meal. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated very quickly.

Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but there were some big parties that all seated about the same time which may have slowed things down. Overall very nice experience at this restaurant.

A great meal for a good price.
