Romano's Seafood Restaurant & Lounge
Perfect Dawn our Server was amazing.
My Bridesmaids and I decided to have lunch there after dress shopping, and we thought the food would be good but unfortunately it wasn’t. I paid $250 for 5 adults and one child and we barely ate the food. The best food we ate was the bread. Sorry, just wasn’t a great experience after enjoying the dress shopping occasion
Seafood lasagna was really good although not very hot. Glad i made?reservations. It filled up. It did take quite a while to get our food.
Donna was an awesome waitress. We went for VFay extremely close seating and a busy night. Reminds you of blue dolphin.
The food was exquisite. Nice atmosphere and ambiance for a romantic Valentine's evening. The service was good for such a busy evening. I look forward to returning for another pleasurable dining event.
Our meals were absolutely delicious! What a nice restaurant!
It was too noisy and the place looked like it could use a good cleaning.
It is a place that has seen better days. Service was fine - waitress friendly, but not attentive. Food is inconsistent - generally okay quality, but not great - cheap, thin, fatty "NY Strip", the crab cake was good but not exceptional, Italian food was smothered in greasy cheese and overcooked tomato sauce ….
My wife and I love their jumbo lump crab cakes and cream of crab soup.
My boyfriend and I loved the atmosphere and our waiter was awesome. We plan on going back there again.
Ramanos has always been one of my ‘go to’ places and I am never disappointed.
I have dined there on and off for 30+ years.
Their crab cake is better than the establishment Oprah raves about.
Their gyro is so good that I get it for my birthday every year.
The staff is courteous and it is Glen Burnie’s best kept secret.
We travel over an hour regularly to come for the crab cakes, they are the absolute best around. Hardly any filler and I never find shells. These are massive crab cakes. Donna is one of our favorite waitresses too!
Chairs had tears in them. Place was practically empty. Crab cakes had too much filler and not enough crab. Sides were horrible total waste of $$$. The waiter was nice when my husband found hair in his soup he got him a fresh bowl immediately and took it off the bill.
I love the broiled crab cake, crab pretzel, and cream of crab soup. Food is always delicious, I have been there a total of 8 times and every time food is yummy! Highly recommend.
Good night because it wasn’t so crowded. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered the Chicken Romano’s. I hate to say it, but it was disappointingly bad. Too much sauce which seemed like it was from a jar, with hardly any taste. Just not good at all. My friends loved their meals—the gyro and the crab cakes. The menu is huge so I’ll be back to try something else, or I’ll go back to my tried and true chopped beef dinner.
The food was great and we ate in the longe to stay for Karaoke, which was fabulous. However the service was less than good. I’m not sure if it was because the longe was very busy but our waitress was pretty much absent for most of our visit. I think management should put a little more help in the longe on busy nights like Fridays.
Prior to the recent visit it had been several years since we dined there. Went back because we always enjoyed the quality of the food and portions and service. This time did not disappoint - still great food great portions - almost two dinners out of one meal - and friendly service. Won’t wait many years to go back
We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer. I was very disappointed as it was mostly cream cheese with very little crab meat. From the time our family of four ordered our meals it took an hour and 15 minutes to receive our meals. It was also an incredibly noisy atmosphere.
Romano’s. Good food. Good service. Priced a bit high for everyday. Noisy - they remodeled but the noise continues unabated by the new look.
3 of 4 at our table ordered crab cake platters and raved about them; rated them ‘A+’. 1 ordered eggplant parmigiana and gave it a ‘D’ — eggplant under cooked, pasta over cooked, sauce like watery catsup. Service was ok.
Food and service were great for a Saturday night. Restaurant was a bit noisy.
The food was amazing as always, but the service was not great. We sat in the lounge and it wasn’t very crowded, but we had to wait for refills for over 15 minutes.
The crab cakes had too much filler. The seafood lasagna wasn’t very good, the sauce didn’t taste good.
Everything was fantastic however at the bar the folks need to be more attentive!!!
The service was horrible. Had reservations but didn’t get seated until much later. People were complaining about reservations and some even left the restaurant.
They have to do better!!!!!
I love eating there especially with my family. We had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant.
The fried scallops were enormous and very fresh. The portion was huge, thee were 9 or 10 of them, so it was 2 meals for me. I shared and still got a to go box for half of them. Meals also come with 2 sides. The side salad was a very generous portion.
The half rack of ribs was one the the specials. They were meaty and very tender. Both meals were very enjoyable. We will go back.
Great food and service
This was only my second time at the restaurant. The first time we were with a group. The service was not up to par. The waiter got the meals mixed up and some folks did not get the soup that they ordered.
This time I came on Supper Bowl Sunday with my wife and son. We ordered right away. The salads came out prompt. However, we sat for a half hour waiting on our meal after finishing our salads. My wife ordered cream of crab soup which was never delivered. My wife notice our waitress sitting at a table with other waitress' eating a meal. No one came by to ask us what was going on after waiting. Finally the waitress came by and apologized. She said she forgot to press the button on the computer for our order. It took her almost 45 miniutes to find that out! We were offered deserts on the house to take home. Never got the soup, but was then offered for free in which we declined. The waitress apologized, but the manager never came out. We decided that we would not come back to this restaurant. Even the folks that sat beside us said it took a long time to get their food. The restaurant was practically empty with one other large party on the other side of us. It is a shame, but the restaurant needs training in customer service.
Very disappointed with our meal. The broiled grouper was quite good but everything else was average. The crab cakes had lots of bread and filler. The prices seemed better suited to premium crab cakes which were not what was served. The dining room was empty; I am guessing that other people already know that the quality here has slipped.
This is the restaurant that me and my wife comes to on her birthdays she enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!!
Romans food was great, a little glitch with the service - refills of drinks hard to come by - but overall they treated and fed us well!
Open Table’s Reservation was not really kept/useful, but since it was New Year’s Eve I can understand the wait. Service was great, our waiter was extremely attentive and fast with bread/refills. Food was just ok, crab cake was very good, spaghetti and meatballs were liked by all as well, but the jumbo fried shrimp were greasy and over cooked. Sides were limited for such a large menu. Overall not the best experience but due to the high volume of customers I would not be deterred to try it again.
Very think, very good crab of crab soup which would be even better if they didn’t sprinkle Old Bay in the top before serving. Very large and tasty portion of Baked Crab Imperial but the string beans were bland with no seasoning. Overall a good meal.
they are not lying, they DO have the best crab cakes!
it was not crowded but had to wait for a refill on water. the appetizer took forever and was just clams casino. I had the stuffed shrimp before but something was different, had no taste was very bland. Def not Maryland crab meat. My son's swordfish was not fresh tasting. other dishes were surf and turf which my husband enjoyed and the scallops were good. I ate one shrimp and took the others home but they ended up in the waste can. I guess when I return I will get a greek salad or Gyro as that is consistently good. If I had ordered crab cakes and they tasted like the stuffed shrimp I would have sent them back. After our waitress brought the check she never returned so since I was leaving a hefty cash tip I found her in the entrance on her phone. One other comment. One hostess was eating mints when we arrived and to speak she removed the mint with her fingers and then replaced in her mouth. The young ladies hired for Hostess should be trained and taught touching face, hair and mouth in front of customers is a no no.
Food was terrible! One in our party of three sent her back and didn’t order anything else. I ordered Pork Chops and they were dry and hard to cut. The waitress was young and has zero clue what customer service is!!! The only bright spot was the cake my wife ordered. I will never go back to this place!!!!
Food is good and service is, too. We had gyros for lunch. Generous portion and very delicious.
We were a group of 8 including 2 1 yr olds. Our server was excellent!
