   Horrible service. We were seated and given menus. Someone came 15 mins later. Server came 30 mins later with an attitude. The food was tasteless. No Season. We had to talk to the manager to get drinks. Horrible experience.

   We were here to celebrate my Daughter’s bday. Beautiful weather, several tables open outside. We had reservations for 5 pm. When we checked in they told us they didn’t have enough servers for outside and that we would have to wait 30 mins for a table outside which was absolutely ridiculous! Since we had reservations elsewhere, we accepted a table inside which was completely DEAD!!! I asked if we could get a table by the window since many were open and once again we were directed elsewhere and the server seemed to not want to accommodate us for a table for two but directed us to a booth that could 6. Completely stupid! The restaurant should automatically know to reassign more ppl as servers for outside when the weather is really good & not penalize customers by placing inside on a great day because of lack of management experience. Food and drinks otherwise was good.

   Duck carnitas tacos and spicy cucumber margarita are the perfect ending to a long conference day! The restaurant was extremely busy with conference attendees and tourists, but the service and food did not suffer. Quite the feat!

    Food was absolutely amazing. I asked the waiter what he recommended which was duck enchiladas….I wasn’t so sure about it but holy cow they were absolutely amazing! And table side Guac is a must.

    Went here for any early Mother’s Day. The food was great as always. The only downfall were the desserts. We ordered the churro’s and tres leches cake…the churros seemed a little greasy and the cake was very dry. It overall, it was a nice dining experience.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Harbor; however, this time I was slightly disappointed in the cleanliness. Nothing was majorly dirty, but I just felt that overall the restaurant seemed more used than normal. Our menus were all greasy when handed to us and it started the meal off with a grimy feel having to touch dirty menus and having no place to set the menus other than near our silverware and appetizer plates. We were also seated in a booth with a giant tear in the seat. If the restaurant was packed, I can understand being seated there, but since there were many open tables, it would be in the staffs best interest to not use that booth. Also, my reservation listed that we were celebrating a birthday and the birthday was not acknowledged. We were deceptively upcharged for for rice and beans and corn of which none of us would have ordered if we were not led to believe they came with the meal. Our waitress was nice and our food was delicious, overall it was just not what we were used to from past experiences.

    Got that right at opening and the service was great. Stayed that way throughout the meal. Very much enjoyed the waitresses cheery attitude and prompt attention to everything we needed.

    Waited 45 minutes for the table we had reserved two months earlier. Hostess staff and manager were rude and didn’t make any attempt to improve our experience while we waited and watched other diners who had later reservations get seated.

    The service was horrible, it took forever just to get water and one round of drinks. The chicken was inedible as was my cocktail. Waitor never checked on us. Zero stars would not reccomend.

    Service was great. Waiter was cordial and helpful. Drinks tasted great but poor presentation for the price. Ordered Chile Relleno at 5pm and was told not available - kitchen ran out. How is that even possible at such an early time. Tried the enchiladas due to limited vegetarian choices - unfortunately was cooked heavily with cinnamon in the sauce. Plantains were excellent, as were the empanadas. Rice was dry and bland. Would likely not eat here again.

    Mole sauce was bland food exceeding average Food and drinks like eating at Applebee's for 3 times the price. Not even close to the Rosa's that used to be in downtown Washington DC.

    We were there to celebrate my friend’s 50th birthday. We had two different servers while dining. Both were amazing. The food was good, but pricey. The churros were the best I’ve had.

    Rosa’s recently changed their menu - for the worse. A deliciously fresh queso fundido appetizer with melty Mexican cheeses and poblano peppers in a sizzling skillet has been replaced with “queso” that is just melted processed cheese. The amazing chorizo empanadas have been replaced with bland bean and cheese empanadas, and an inferior dipping sauce to the prior version. The delightful carne asada used to have a tender skirt steak, charred perfection and reliably executed to a beautiful med-rare. The steak is now a cheap, gristly cut of meat that was way over cooked and so tough it was inedible. Our favorite enchiladas are mostly gone - the new version of the beef is bland and inferior to prior, the duck was nothing special, and they have replaced the delectable mestiza sauce with something not nearly as tasty. The chicken enchilada suiza was ok, but not great. Execution was poor: both the rice and beans were undercooked and crunchy, an intolerable dining mistake, and my steak was well done when ordered med-rare. The cocktail prices have been increased, but it’s the same margarita being brought to you, just now with a silly display that involves dry ice that produces smoke. Still a great margarita, but the theatrics don’t add anything and it’s clearly being used to justify a price hike. Rosa Mexicano has been one of our favorite, beloved restaurants for years. We eat here often and spend thousands here every year: Weekends with family, weekday Business lunches, Special occasions… Rosa’s has been a consistent favorite. Today, I sadly sent my steak back and had it taken off the bill because it was offensively bad. We did not enjoy anything we ate today except for the drink and salsa. That’s a poor showing for $130 before tax and tip. Please bring back the old menu and food items! The menu changes are beneath the Rosa Mexicano we know and love. I truly hope Rosa’s will return to their prior menu and reliable cooking. If not, they will have lost us as customers.

    Outside service experience was not good. Last time I was there, we had a wonderful experience and our waiter was very attentive. This will not stop me from coming back but hope the service for outside improve.

    This place IS NOT what it used to be. Dirty Floors ( Food & Trash) Dirty napkins; Shrimp Tacos = presentation HORRIBLE! Server coming out of the kitchen, fingers inside rice side dish; threw plates on the table! ( Restaurant mas asqueroso y sucio al cual hemos ido!) Never Again!

    Service was generally inattentive and slow. Tables and chairs were not clean, and had to ask to be wiped down. Food was lukewarm and underseasoned. Was difficult to order drinks, get water (server forgot several times), and flatware and napkins (also had to ask several times). Have been dining at this Rosa's location for many years, since their original opening at National Harbor, and have experienced a significant overall decline in quality of service and food. Used to be a genuinely enjoyable experience with good service and quality food, to where, now, we feel this was likely our last visit to Rosa's for a very long time.

    Rosa Mexicana has made various changes to its menu. No problem, but I do take issue with them saying that I can't have sauce on the side. Strange. I spoke with a manager and he did provide me with a taste test of sauces, which I appreciated. The server did not offer that as an option, which is why I asked for a manager. I will probably not patronize the restaurant again.

    Made a reservation and ended up in the overflow room. Our server forgot about us and didn’t even know their own food options. Very disappointing! Better service at the bar and closed it down on a Friday night at 11. Lol

    The food was pretty good but unfortunately the restaurant was quite dirty. The restrooms and the hallway leading to them were disgusting and there was a manager standing in front of the hallway the entire time I was at the restaurant - he made no attempt to clean up. The restaurant smelled like a Chuck E. Cheese.
