The food was delicious. Waitress was extremely polite and professional but I ordered food to go and specifically requested no mayonnaise on my tacos due to an allergy. And 2 out of three tacos had mayo. Didn’t have the time to drive back so that’s why then overall experience wasn’t perfect.

Another great experience at Rosa Mexicano Riverside Square! Took my wife for a pre-New Year's Eve dinner, just the two of us, and Rosa Mexicano did not disappoint. The restaurant was extremely clean, and practiced social distancing and all measures to prevent the spread of COVID19. Our meal and service were absolutely superb. Our guacamole appetizer was fresh, tasty, and elegantly displayed. My chamorro pork shank was the most beautiful piece of art I have ever seen. Again, elegantly displayed, fresh, and oh so tasty. My wife adored her enchiladas suizas. The rice, beans, and plantains were amazing! Did I mention how good the frozen margaritas were??? AMAZING!! A must for détente or to take the family!!! Paul the manager does an amazing job, his staff is wonderful!!

Love this place for quick reconnecting time, great drinks and guac made fresh upon ordering. Margs are great but $17 each is a little rough

Though the service was great as usual, the food was not good at all. I have been here over the years and I was not impressed with the food this time around.

Seating was well spaced so never a Covid concern. Service great and all the food excellent. Menu full of interesting options. Will return and definitely recommend

Guacamole, plantains & churros are a must.

We had 2 types of street tacos (steak & fried zucchini), flautas, 2 Bowls of guacamole, plantains, and churros. Everything was delicious!!! We love going because we know we are going to have a great meal!!! The carnitas are also amazing

Rosa Mex totally redeemed themselves from a previously poor experience we had. We decided to give things one more shot and our meal was amazing. Rosa Mex is back to being our #1!! Did a great job with social distancing as well.

I go here for the amazing frozen margaritas. The food being great is a plus.

Very nice restaurant to go with family. We had a really nice time. Our waitress was very friendly and professional.

Not very good quality or flavor, despite long wait (ordered pork shank understanding it takes longer to make). Totopos were fresh, refrescos were nice but a little too sweet. Shrimp tacos and chicken quesadilla were flavorless. Tres leches had coconut flakes and berries - definitely not authentic. Service was average. Had high hopes but would not return at lunchtime, if ever.

Came here for dinner with my wife for national taco day. Food was delicious but the fish tacos were overpriced in my opinion (3 for $18). One server Andres was nice, but a little stiff. He was more personable towards the end of our dining. The margaritas were delicious, and only $12, which is a big plus. I also liked that the tables inside were spread 6-feet apart to make everybody more comfortable during the pandemic. Overall, we would definitely come back and eat again.

We have been going to Rosa for nine years and never been disappointed. We love the special celebrations.

Our server, Francisco, was truly amazing! He was very attentive and even remembered our selections from our last visit 5 months ago. We felt very safe and comfortable with the COVID protocols. The restaurant was extremely clean and the ambiance was inviting. The cocktails were delicious and the meals provided big flavors with the authentic Mexican selections.

Rosa Mexicana usually has a great menu with great drinks.... in the city. The dish I had was adequate but not great. The sangria was mediocre as was the service.

We love the chicken tortilla soup, guacamole & chicken flautas. Also enjoy the Chicken Suizas & the corn.

They make delicious guacamole!! My son and I always love Rosa Mexicano, we are always greeted with big smiles and great service , the quesadillas are awesome and i love their soup.

We usually love Rosa Mexicana , but since reopening indoor dining they now charge for chips and salsa. The food was not as good at it usually is and the indoor ambience was meh....we actually thought the food was better a few weeks before with the outdoor dining. The charging for chips and salsa was the biggest turnoff unfortunately. What mexican restaurant do you go to that doesn't serve you chips and salsa upon arriving. Very disappointed. I think we are over eating out for now, better to save money than pay a lot for mediocre.

Had a great Anniversary dinner here. Food was delicious! We missed this place. Normally we go to NYC but decided to try it here. We will definitely be going back!

Always enjoyable. Cozy outdoor dining terrace...great guacomole with veggies....delicious margaritas! Perfect for lunch or dinner.

After the pandemic the service and value of food has gone down. They no longer have free chips and salsa, now you have to pay $4 for it. In the past entrees like the Baja tacos would come with rice and beans, now you have to pay extra for it. Service is very slow and unprepared. We had to ask for utensils, plates, straw, water etc. The portions also seem smaller than before. This was the restaurant to go to if you wanted good service and better Mexican food. Now it’s on par with any average Mexican franchise (Chevys, On the border etc...)Unfortunately I’m NOT planing to go back any time soon.

Given the Covid restrictions placed on restaurants, Rosa Mexicano did a great job. Our table was ready right away (made our reservation 5 days in advance) and service was smooth from there on out.

I understand that table side preparation for the guacamole is no longer possible, however I would have liked the option to have it done with some jalapenos to give it a little more kick. We ordered the guacamole and the waiter left without asking how we would like it. It was fresh and tasty none the less, but it was not how I would have preferred it.

Our entrees were hot upon delivery, something that is increasing difficult for many restaurants given how far the kitchens can be from outdoor seating. The waiter checked back after a few bites and was attentive for the rest of the evening.

My only issue was that they failed to acknowledge my wife's birthday. I noted in the reservation that we were celebrating and it would have been nice if they at least said happy birthday. We didn't order dessert and I never except anything to be brought unless the customer orders it ( I hate when people complain that the restaurants don't offer free dessert ), however a little acknowledgement goes a long way.

This was a good enough visit that we went again the following Tuesday. What became apparent was the time in between drinks arriving, appetizers and main meal.
It was left to be desired.
This was also right after a storm went through so the seats were a bit damp. This experience was nicer than the second.
Appreciate the QR code for menu. Though we did not use the option to pay from QR code on receipt, it did not allow split tender.

So happy they still have some outdoor dining option for our fave Mexican restaurant! Love their margs & guac
